Wellgate Women's Slimfit Wrist Support- Give It A Hand! - Jan RN on Apr 13, 2010

Now here's a great idea- a wrist support just for women- and its about time too! This product has many features that puts it head and shoulders above the rest. For instance:

-it has a slimmer design
-utilizes memory foam
-is white, a contrast to the usual beige coloring

So who should get the brace? Anyone who has wrist/elbow issues and needs to decrease the motion of their wrist. The most obvious users will be people who have carpal tunnel- a condition caused by compression of the median nerve at the wrist, leading to mild to severe pain and pins and needles in the hand. Recent reviews have found that wrist splints such as these are highly effective at relieving symptoms (O'connor 2003). Of course consider this brace for any wrist/forearm overuse problem and anytime you need to immobilize your wrist. Great Brace, NOT Just For Small Women! - HedoFedo on Mar 11, 2008

I bought this and several other braces to try out. I have tendinitis/carpal tunnel in both wrists/hands. I teach online English courses for several universities -- as this is how I make my living, it is essential that I have effective support for my wrists so that I am able to type and work online for 10+ hours a day without being in excruciating pain. This is by *far* the best brace of all that I've tried. I'm not a small woman -- I'm 5'8" and have meat on my bones, but this brace fits just fine. I prefer it to the other braces I've tried because it leaves me with much greater range of motion from the upper palm up to the tips of my fingers. Other braces made it hard to type, but not this one. I'm really happy with it.

Wrist Support For Anybody With Small Wrists - L. Woods on Jan 21, 2010

First of all, the idea that this product is made "for women" is just a marketing ploy to get money from those people who will buy something if they can be fooled into believing that it was made "specially for them". This is a nice, comfortable, soft wrist brace that will fit most people, regardless of gender, orientation, race, or planet of origin, if they have wrists on the small side. I'm a man with 6.25 inch circumference wrists, and it works great.

It is not the softest wrist support I've ever used. But it is reasonably comfortable and good for wearing to bed. I don't wear it during the day. Before this, I was wearing the IMAK smart glove, which amazon also sells. That is softer (and warmer, for better or worse) than this Wellgate wrist support, but it is not rigid. It allows some movement. The Wellgate is rigid and well designed so that the Velcro doesn't drag along the flannel sheets picking up lint as you sleep.

Much Better Than Traditional Unisex Braces - Music Lady "Mel" on Oct 13, 2006

After 10 years of tendon issues, I finally broke down and decided that if I was going to wear a wrist brace, I might as well get one that looked nice. Not only does this brace look much better than my old tan one, it fits better. The slim design keeps my wrist more stabilized, and the inside is oh-so-comfy. Unlike many braces, the velcro attaches underneath the wrist, making the brace easier on the eye. In addition, the rough part of the velcro is smaller than in traditional braces, and the smooth part is wider--ALL of the rough part adheres to the smooth, which means no damage to clothing. Very nice design; so far I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Highly Recommend! - Time2read on Dec 3, 2007

I have carpal tunnel in both hands (had surgery on my right hand 10 years ago, but have developed it again). I have bought at least 20 different braces over the years and this brace is by far the best I have had, it is comfortable and looks nice.

It Would Be Perfect If It Came In Different Sizes - Patti on Sep 11, 2007

This would be a nearly-perfect wrist brace if it fit correctly. Unfortunately, it is a little bit too small for my arms. It fits reasonably well around my hand but just barely closes around my (somewhat muscular, but not extremely large) forearm. Because of this, the whole thing just sits a little bit wrong.

The item says that it is "designed to fit women", but I would alter that to say that it's designed to fit small women. It seems to be treated as a one-size-fits all item, which it definitely is not.

Other than that, it's well-made and comfortable.

Like A Hug For Your Hand... - Tammy K. Nelson "str on Jan 22, 2008

After suffering for 4 weeks with a poorly-designed wrist brace from a local pharmacy, I was immediately relieved just to touch the Wellgate Slimfit Wrist Support as I pulled it out of its package. It was apparent that it is made of higher quality materials and is a very intelligent design. The soft, brushed cotton feel makes it comfortable on your skin and - if you've struggled with poor-quality braces with abrasive velcro, you will fully appreciate the pull-through design of the velcro straps as they wrap underneath and keep the rough part of the velcro away from your skin. Best of all is the diagonal design across the palm providing maximum support without limiting your finger movements. Other braces also use excessive material between your thumb and forefinger making it difficult to grasp objects or type comfortably whereas the Slimfit brace narrows at just the right point to maximize your ability to grip. I was pleasantly surprised to see the fabric insert on the open side of the brace to help prevent any irritation from the straps (even though they are already very soft and unlikely to irritate). Intelligent design. Comfortable fit. Limits the movement of my wrist more than the other braces I have tried even though it gives me the best movement of my hand. I can see why this brace might not fit someone who is overweight or has very big arms, but even my husband could get his hand into this one when I asked him to try it on to see why I am so thrilled with it. Simply overjoyed to finally find a brace that really fits!

Spend A Little Bit More Money To Get The Right Thing. - Glorious "Day" on Aug 8, 2010

I found this wrist brace to be uncomfortable for 2 reasons:

1. The thumb hole was too small and dug into my hand.

2. The brace itself was a little large. Adjusting it as tight as it would go to fit my wrist caused the seams to start to come undone. And, it caused the thumb hole to dig in deeper.

I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs to give you perhaps, an idea of the scale of my hands. I wear a size M in medical gloves. I have RSI/tendonitis (not Carpal Tunnel) from typing too much on a macbook keyboard. This brace offered mild relief but also caused a moderate amount pain on its own. So in the end not really worth it.

I ended up buying the Women's Futuro wrist support from Target because it wasn't available on Amazon. The Futuro one is also grey, which is nicer/ more subtle than the black ones which are more suitable for males. I tried the black Futuro "unisex?" small; ugly and too large. The women's one is very soft, very flexible, very comfortable, very supportive.

So spend a little bit more and get yourself the right thing the first time.

Also, if you're like me, do yourself a favor and fix the root of the problem by getting an ergonomic keyboard.

BEST I'VE EVER USED; MUST FOR WOMEN W/CTS - A. Gift For You on Jan 30, 2009

I could sing the praises of this product all day long. I've used a number of different splints, seeking relief from carpol tunnel. When I found this brand, I could have cried, the difference was so profound. It's made to fit the curve of a woman's hand, and is SO much more comfortable, than any other splint I've tried. I DID feel the velcro wore out pretty fast. I use mine mostly for sleeping, and they're only about 8 months old, and the velcro is shot. But if you're suffering from cts, and are a woman, I'd say buy this as fast as you can. Walmart has them.

Best Wrist Splint Ever! - A. Leigh "word junki on May 4, 2008

This splint is amazing- the doctor told me I needed to wear one on both hands for early carpal tunnel. I bought a tan, cheaper brand (saved $2) that was unisex and for either hand, it was awful! I always took it off in the middle of the night because it was so uncomfortable. Needless to say I returned it and splurged on this one.
I worried since it was "SlimFit" it would be too small, but it's amazing! So comfortable, I wear it all night long. Also, it's quite pretty, so I have no worries about wearing it out and about. I also have a better range of motion for typing and other duties.
I'll definitely be returning to buy another for my right hand. I would recommend this all day long.

Good Brace, But The Velcro Is Worthless. - K. Tabor on May 6, 2009

I purchased one of these braces shortly after being diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel in February, and I was shocked at how quickly the nagging pain up my arm went away. The interior is soft and the angle as it cuts across my hand is comfortable and allows a free range of finger movement. It has a low profile and doesn't get in my way as I go about my job. It holds my wrist comfortably and keeps my range of motion limited without driving me crazy, which was my biggest concern about wearing a wrist brace.

The velcro, however, is shoddy. I noticed that it was deforming and wearing out in a couple of weeks, and after six weeks it was almost useless. Not wanting to throw the entire brace away and start hunting again, I sliced out the damaged section of the strap and sewed in a piece of heavy-duty Velcro. My splicing job has held up pretty well, and the new piece of Velcro hasn't shown any signs of wearing out.

If you're willing to pull it apart and splice in new bits, it comes highly recommended. If you'd rather not have to modify your brace, look elsewhere.

Great Wrist Brace For Women - Robert R. Hatch on Feb 4, 2010

My wife had been looking for a good brace for a long time. She is in her early 60's and does Yoga classes, as well as knit a lot. Many of the yoga positions and exercises put a lot of pressure on her wrist. Some of these really hurt and she was afraid of injuring her wrist, so she would skip some. Did an Amazon search and found this one. Her concern was that the support bars in the brace would interfere or possibly "dig" into her skin and otherwise be uncomfortable. NOT SO!! After trying it, this is the best brace she has ever used - supportive, comfortable, and even decent looking. In short it is perfect!! Note, she does have small wrists - and this was great for her. It would definitely fit wrists somewhat larger than hers (as there are adjustable velcro straps), but might be uncomfortable for people with wrists on the large size. She bought both the left and right and loves them - totally!!!
As noted, she also knits a lot and does not recommend them for that type of utilization.

Didn't Work For Me - Bea "book addict" on May 15, 2010

I purchased this wrist brace because I have small hands and wrists. There is very little adjustment. My hand is so small that I couldn't get the palmer stay even close to touching, so I basically had no support. The palmer stay is a cheap piece of plastic (feels like a plastic fork with tines), and not adjustable. I have returned both of these wrist supports and will look for something that actually does provide support

Carpal Tunnel Relief - D. Sanford on Mar 17, 2008

Doctor recommended sleeping with wrist splints for early stage carpal tunnel syndrome. After shopping around, trying on numerous brands and styles, I chose the Wellgate Slimfit for Women. Have been using the supports for several weeks now and am very pleased with the results. This brace is very comfortable, providing enough support for my wrists to eliminate the nightly numbness/pins and needles, and is not overly restrictive or cumbersome, allowing more natural use of the fingers and hand than all of the other braces I tried. I would definitely buy this brace again.

Perfect Night Support For Bad Wrists - Relentlessly Geeky on Jun 6, 2011

I must admit when I ordered these I didn't hold out much hope. Due to RA, I often need to wear braces or splints at night to protect my wrists. I feel like Goldilocks looking for that elusive perfect bowl of porridge. I have an entire drawer full of various braces that are too big, too hot, too scratchy, too stiff, too loose. I was pleasantly surprised the first night I wore these to sleep. They fit great, did not pinch or scratch, didn't get too sweaty, weren't so bulky I couldn't hold my book (I always read before falling asleep and some splints make this impossible)... in short, these were almost perfect!

After a year and a half, the only flaw I can come up with is that the velcro starts to lose its grip after a while. Careful cleaning of the 'hook' side of the velcro strips using tweezers or a pin to dig out the embedded lint can help revitalize it, but they do sometimes come loose at night now. The rest of the brace has held up beautifully, so I may just get some double-sided velcro to secure these at night and maybe get another couple years out of them.

Works For Bigger Gals, Too. Not Well-constructed. - Jennifer on Aug 4, 2010

I was worried about this fitting since it's a "slimfit" style and I'm a bigger girl, but it was the one I wanted to try. Thankfully, it does fit (I've uploaded a closer pic of their size guide). That said, it IS a wrist brace so it's not entirely comfortable--and it does affect my typing somewhat...but for most every day stuff like emptying the dishwasher or changing diapers, it's just fine. And on the plus side, it does keep my wrist from moving, which is what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, after one afternoon of wearing, the stitching was already coming apart on the palm side (see photo) so this will be returned. I think a sturdier stitch (instead of a wide zig-zag) might help the issue. I might try this one again, but I might try another brand first.

Fantastic! - S. Casey on May 23, 2008

Other braces made it hard to type or rubbed against my knuckles or were just too big. This is soft and comforatable even when it's hot out. Great support as well. But definitely designed for women with small hands, like me.

The Welgate Arm Brace Is Wonderful - J. Cooper on Nov 2, 2007

I've been using the Welgate wrist supports for several years now and love how they fit...not like the usual big, clumsy black braces. I now have two sets of them so I always have a clean set when it need them. I just throw them in the washer and air dry them. I have carpel tunnel from knitting and couldn't do without these smaller, nice fitting wrist supports.

Works At First, But It WILL NOT LAST! - A. Schuster "Miss Dr on Nov 6, 2009

As an individual with pretty severe carpal tunnel, I must sleep with wrist braces every night and often wear them for typing and such. After foolishly purchasing not one, but two of these braces and using them for at least a year, I can say that these things are really pieces of $%&#*. The part that is supposed to stabilize the wrist is made of plastic and can allow your wrist to take on the same positions that caused the damage in the first place, especially after a couple of moths of use. Worst of all, after a while the "velcro" on the straps simply will not stick-no matter what you do, the straps will come loose. If the wrist brace is not tight, it cannot stabliize. If the straps will not stick, then the brace cannot be tight. In short, if you plan on getting some use out of a wrist brace, I would go for something made with metal instead of plastic and that uses REAL velcro that won't wear out. Ace makes some pretty decent drugstore braces, but if you want a really good heavy duty brace that will last, ask your doctor or your pharmacist.

A Wonderful Wrist Support! - Loleta S. "peanut bu on Dec 11, 2011

I bought my Wellgate for Women Slimfit Wrist Support for my right wrist and lower thumb which have been in a lot of pain from tendinitis. This is my writing hand, and I was at the point of not even being able to sign my name. After 4 acupuncture treatments and the wonderful support provided by this wrist support, I am able to not only sign my name with minimal pain, but to do grasping tasks as well---something that I hadn't been able to do. I highly recommend this support...it is light in weight and light gray in color (doesn't "announce to the world" that I have a hand/wrist problem like other supports do), and provides the support I need to avoid a lot of pain when I try to use my hand.

Great Relief For Numb Hands - KJ on Mar 12, 2011

I started getting numb hands in the third trimester of my pregnancy and my doctor recommended sleeping in wrist braces. These were great - lightweight, not too bulky, and did the trick! They fit women's hands well and align the wrist just right to give you relief.

Very Good, Except The Color - deepest on Jun 27, 2010

I really like it in terms of usage - it is comfortable, and snug. On the other hand, it looks like a medical device, because of the color and looks. I was wearing black Ace wrist support for a week and noone payed attention. The first day I put on this one, people started asking what is wrong with my hand...I really would like them to have other colors as well, that look less medical.

BUY This One! - Mom of Four "WiseMom on Jun 10, 2010

After trying everything (including medications) and being unable to sleep due to searing, burning, relentless wrist and hand pain, I found Wellgate's beautifully engineered wrist brace. It doesn't have Velcro that irritates, nor a strap that cuts off circulation, making things worse. It is soft and comfortable and looks much nicer than other braces. It actually FITS, and relieves pain and pressure, allowing sleep at last. Buy a couple of spares, because you will not want to be without it. This brace is durable and shows little sign of wear after more than a year.
I wear the braces day and night when I need them. I am typing this while wearing the braces, and can do most ordinary chores while wearing them, other than washing dishes or sewing! The pale grey color necessitates gentle hand or delicate machine washing every few weeks (use a lingerie bag if you are machine washing them). The braces enable me to DRIVE when wrist pain would normally make driving impossible. You will not regret this purchase, it is vastly superior to any other brand I have tried. Worth every penny and more! Thank you, Wellgate, for a great product!

Carpal Tunnel Sufferer - S. Morgan on May 31, 2010

This is the best night brace I have ever used for my carpal tunnel. Believe me I have tried them all. Thank goodness someone had enough sense to make one for women. All the other ones I have tried are either too big and cumbersome or just plain uncomfortable. This is also washable. I wear it every night and it lasted a year before I had to replace it; which isn't too bad. I highly recommend this for women.

Awesome Product!! - Seth Peralta on May 3, 2010

I would like to extend a review about the Wellgate Slimfit wrist support. Now I normally don't take the time for a review but for this case I will. Especially since I am a male person buying this product. I took a chance, based on the sizing chart, that this would fit my hand. I guess you could say I have "typical" male hands whatever that may be. I do know my palm is wider than normal. Anyways, it just seemed like all the other products were not working or weren't comfortable enough. When I tried this product on, surpisingly, it fit perfectly. It is extremely comfortable and very supportive. It is fully adjustable with the velcro straps and is very form fitting. Plus it isn't so bulky and actually has pretty neutral colors. There is accents of pink but in my mind who cares. Besides Pink is Punk! All in all it is a great product and I would recommend it to a male looking for a top quality wrist support.

Excellent Wrist Support - Patricia Schroeder on Aug 11, 2009

This is an excellent wrist support and I believe it will work for many different conditions such as carpel tunnel, tendinitis and even lymphadema. It is a very nice looking and comfortable brace that is quite easy to slip on and off. I thought I had carpel tunnel but it turned out to be a thumb injury to the wrist - de Quervain's tenosynovitis. And I also have lymphadema in that arm. This brace truly made a difference in the pain and comfort level both during the day and for sleeping. I highly recommend it.

Awesome But For Everyday Use Doesnt Last Long - Sayuri "amazon freak on Feb 5, 2009

I love wellgate products, I also use their ankle supports because I have very weak ankles from 12 years of tennis. But back to the wrist brace, I have tendonitis from over use and my doctor told me to use a brace while I sleep so that I don't hurt it while sleeping. This brace works great but when using everyday, it probably only lasts 2-3 months before the part where the velcro sticks to right at the wrist gets deformed and doesnt grip well. The bottom velcro part seems to last forever but the top part doesnt and you cant just replace the top one you need to buy a whole new one. So at $18 a pop it seems a but expensive but it does work well.

Does Not Fit All... And A Little Hot! - Puppy Love on Jan 6, 2009

I bought this for tendonitis in my wrist and thought that design was great... it's a little uncomfortable around my thumb as i believe the sizing to be for very small women rather than average. Also, the inside has a sueded material that while comfortable, has caused some sweating of my palm and i'm afraid it will smell. But overall it's a fair product.

Comfortable Fit And Works As Described - Dee "ZuneFan" on Jun 16, 2008

This brace is great for the pain I have when I use the mouse at my computer. I really notice when I am NOT wearing it. The brace goes on easily and the color is nice as it goes with most anything. Definately worth the price. I'm glad I bought it.

One Size Does NOT Fit All - M. Alonso on Feb 13, 2008

all i have to say is, one size does NOT fit all.

other than that, it has a nice design and its a great product... but i gave it 3 star cause the item is a little tight on me. ...

Better Than Other Braces, But Not Perfect - reeraaroo on Sep 21, 2007

I am 26 years old and suffer from something that the doctors and physical therapists can't figure out - either carpal tunnel, tendonitis, or some other problem. In any case, I was wearing a unisex brace that could be worm on either hand. I decided I should upgrade since wearing this thing on my right hand was becoming part of my everyday wardrobe.

This brace looks better, and feels better than any brace I've had before. There is much more mobility to do things wearing this brace, but I have to wonder if it is as effective. The memory foam definitely feels good, and sleeping with this on has not been a problem for me.

I will say I think it's stupid for them to have made the underneath part where the metal thing is with white cloth as a covering. After one day it was looking dirty, and this seems impossible to avoid, especially if you type and wear the thing all day like I do. Everything considered I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Wellgate Wrist Support Has Helped Greatly. - Marjory A. Gilley "l on May 6, 2007

The Wellgate Women's Slimfit Wrist Support has helped my wrists greatly. It helped my right wrist so much that I also purchased one for my left wrist. I do a lot of computer work and I suffer from carpal tunnel, so I needed to find something I could use to relieve the pain. I wear the right one almost everynight to bed and when my left one is bothering me I wear it also. They are also adjustable so some nights when my wrists are swollen I can adjust for that. I would recommend these to anyone who does not want to have surgery.

Best One Out There For Daily Use - Tsinoy "Tsinoy" on Mar 12, 2008

I wish I'd found this before I wasted my money trying other wrist braces.

I have bad tendonitis from computer time and woodworking, so my wrists are constantly sore. This wrist brace is comfortable, lightweight, low-profile (which means I can usually wear gloves over it and stick it through my jacket sleeves). The light gray & white color also makes it a lot less inconspicuous than the black or dark blue ones (with white logos!) that I used to use.

It breathes too - my wrists don't get sweaty underneath (although it's still pretty cold out. I haven't tested this in the summer yet).

The only disadvantage I can think of is: the white fabric under the palm picks up a lot of the dirt under your hands, so I have to wash it often. Other than that, I use it every day and don't know what I'd do without it!

Fits Perfectly - Randywell on Jan 23, 2012

I really like this wrist wrap. It holds my hand in place like it's supposed to and I can sleep in it without feeling too confined. It's not bulky and does the job.

For My Ladies - Y. Cha "Yuniverse" on Jan 7, 2012

My wife has a weak wrists and with all the housework she does, they get painful.

I was researching for the wrist support and found this one with great reviews and the looks that my wife may like.

When I received the item, I was even more pleased. The build quality was more than adequate and the slimness as it says in the product title, was another plus.

Best of all, the product helps my wife to sleep without wrist pains during the night and she also uses it during the day to prevent wrist stress.

I would highly recommend it. We bought both right and left pairs for my mother and mother in law as well.

Pros:
1. This really helps to reduce stress and pain on the wrists.
2. slim - it enables her to do light chores with it on.
3. looks: it looks much better than others I've seen.
4. price: I think it's worth the price and more for my wife's well-being.

Cons:
You can't do complicated chores, but that's to be expected with such apparatus. So, it's really not a con.

Highly recommend.

Great - Deevah on Nov 25, 2011

after reading reviews for a number of wrist splints I decided to go with this one...I am extremely satisfied....It fits just right and I immediately noticed a change in my carpel tunnel....

Not So Great - Becca on Sep 20, 2011

I bought this as a back-up for the brace I already own- the Futuro For Her Wrist Support, Adj. Right. I wear my Futuro most of the day and also overnight so I needed one to wear while the other was being washed and air-dried. Based on the other reviews I read, I thought this would be a nice brace, but after wearing it for the last few hours I'm pretty disappointed. It's not the worst brace I've ever owned but it doesn't compare to the Futuro. This one doesn't keep my wrist very stable- I still have a lot of mobility. It's also pretty uncomfortable and the upper edge hurts my hand. Think I'll be returning this and getting another Futuro. The Futuro costs more but is WELL worth it- I wear it about 18-20 hours each day and it keeps my wrist very stable and is MUCH more comfortable than this one.

Slimfit Wrist Support - SweetMissMagnolia on Jun 3, 2011

this is one of the most comfy wrist support/braces that I have worn---it's summer here and it does get hot and sweaty and is a little uncomfy only because of that-I wish the straps had been made a little longer to help with adjusting the fit a little better-but all in all it's a great product

Great For Typing - CatWoman on Jun 2, 2011

Great product; great price. Great support. Really adjustable for all sizes & cloth keeps hand cool inside. Shape fits MUCH better than one not fitted for woman's hand. Just bought third one, which I'll put in laptop case. Already have one in home ofc & one at work.

Comfortable Wrist Support - farouche on Jan 28, 2011

I used this for a couple of weeks when I started experiencing some numbness and tingling in my left hand, wearing it only at night for sleep. It was comfortable and light weight, so was not a deterrent to sleeping, but kept my wrist in the proper position to reduce strain. I found that after a couple of weeks, my tingling decreased and I trained myself to sleep with my wrist straight, rather than curling it under my chin, as is my typical sleep position. I will continue to use it in the future, should there be a recurrence of symptoms.

Saved The Day - I'm a mom on Jan 25, 2011

I work at my computer 7 days about 14-15 hours a day. Trying to stave off carpal tunnel surgery, I bought these braces after trying many other "home remedies." These actually work! While I don't use them all the time, when my wrists start to bother me, I wear them 24-7 until the pain stops. Then I can usually go for a few weeks without pain. When the pain starts up again, out come the braces. Granted, I probably don't need surgery if I can go for a time without the braces, and I truly don't have carpal tunnel syndrome, but without these braces, I believe it is just a matter of time. I honestly think these braces are my "apple a day."

It's A Nice Compromise-- Better Buy Two - Chaos Herder on Jan 25, 2011

I like that it is lightweight and not overly movement-oppressive. I was able to bend the center support a little bit to provide just a little more pressure at the heel of my hand, which brought better relief. It's a compromise. More restricted movement provides better relief, but leaves me less comfortable and with less strength to perform my tasks. It is light in color, so it immediately shows dirt and moisture, but it washes nicely. I just put it in a lingerie bag and throw it in with a white load, and let it air dry. I ended up getting a second one so that I could rotate them through the wash with less down-time.

Finally A Perfect Fit For Ladies! - golfteam8 "golfteam8 on Jan 4, 2011

I suffer with carpal tunnel syndrome and have had many of these types of wrist bands/supports. Some from doctors and many I have purchased. This one fits PERFECTLY! Some are big and bulky but then leave imprints on the bottom of my thumb because they don't fit propertly, others cut off circulation and make your skin sweat underneath. Some I have had the metal bar that keeps them firm keeps sliding out and pokes me in the writs. This one does none of the above.

I love and will buy only this type from now on. In fact I wanted one for my left wrist but did not see one here on Amazon. I wear it daily and it is not intrusive at all and you hardly know you have it on. No pressure anywhere on your hand or wrist. I definately recommend this writs guard and will only buy this one from now on.

Simply Awesome ! - momom04 "momom04" on Dec 21, 2010

this brace is great !!! it has a wonderful fit and feel....very comfortable and super support. needed support for typing on laptop and this does a wonderful job. instantly relieved my wrist pain and now i won't ever type without it !!!

Best We've Found. - Heath Cliff "Steel V on Sep 17, 2010

My wife needed these because she developed carpal tunnel post pregnancy. We tried a couple different types and these were by far the best. They are more attractive and they are made for a woman's wrists. She was very pleased with them and that in turn pleases me. I'm giving it a four star because she said they got hot and weren't vented very well.

Works Great! - bop109 on May 10, 2010

I bought this for my carpal tunnel and after wearing it for about a month at night, my symptoms have gone away! I am so happy this product worked as advertised. It caught me up on some much needed sleep!

Comfortable Women's Fit - Ali Hausman "The Sle on May 3, 2010

I usually get ones in black but the "women's slimfit" tempted me to get these. I find that they don't collect dust easily or get dirty easily. Most comfortable fit ever, even when worn to sleep.

Very Comfortable And Stylish Women's Carpal Tunnel Glove!! - Susan L. Stimmel on Dec 7, 2009

Most women's carpal tunnel gloves are hideous and an unattractive tannish color..this glove is silver, matches with anything, stylish, form fitting, and best of all..comfortable!! When I wear it, my hand is very well supported and immobilized while I type and do clerical tasks yet allows me enough flexibility and movement to move my fingers when I need to...overall, it's a very exceptional carpal tunnel glove!

Better Than Nothing, Not Great - Rachel on Dec 3, 2009

I lost my originally prescribed wrist brace so I bought one of these. It is definitely inferior. The thing I noticed most after purchase is the length. My old one was longer, came to approximately half way down my forearm. This one is sufficient but not the best. It would work better while doing activities since it still allows movement. Assists but doesn't proved enough relief from carpal tunnel.

No Complaints Here - A. McKenna on Oct 10, 2009

Comfortable, breathable, and supports my wrist very well. Have had little to no more problems with my ulnar nerve.
