--It seems that amazon removed the last Terra Fi 3 product and then imported select reviews to the new Terra Fi 3 listing. I just noticed when looking back on my original review that it no longer existed and neither was there a link to the product. Fortunately my review history still had the product so I just cut and pasted the last review I made -- you can verify by looking at my reviews. Lesson learned -- amazon reviews are not necessarily trust worthy.

REVIEW
I had a pair of Terra Fi 2 sandals for the past 8 years, they were wonderful. When I saw some Terra Fi 3's for sale for ~$35 from sierra trading post I jumped on it even though my TF2's still have some life in them.
What a dissappointment -- don't get me wrong, they were worth every penny of $35, but they are a let down after the great quality of the TF2's.
Pros
The foot bed is an improvement from the TF2
Cons
1. Shock pad is a nuisance, it doesn't add anything, just feels like some extra dense , less giving material under my heel -- thanks but I would rather something softer under my heel.
2. There is less padding layer between the straps and your foot as compared to the TF2 -- this makes the TF3 a bit less comfortable.
Bottom line -- I would reccomend if you can get them on sale, otherwise, I would pass.
The harder sole (due to the ShocPad) and the new (not as comfortable) footbed made me look elsewhere.
Teva, please give us the original Terra Fi back!
well its another great sandal from Teva, (what else would you expect). i also have a pr of the Teva Zilch & as my every day sandals; i save these for the more extreme surfaces of hiking, beaches & such.
can't go wrong with a Teva on you foot.
For one thing, in boots and most shoes, I wear an 11.5 or 12 EE and I have an extremely high instep. So some fittings are problematic, even when sized properly.
These sandals come only in D width, and yet an 11 D fits me perfectly. I have to let the straps out a bit, but they feel great, don't move around when walking, and the quality is every bit as good as the first pair I got 20-some years ago.
Its no wonder Teva is still around after more than 2 decades. They make great products, these sandals included.

But it is nice to have a new replacement just in case I actually outlive the old ones.
This version I like this style because of the extra padding under the strap crossing areas, which keeps my feet from being rubbed sore on the top. And I like the lack of a toe strap, like most flip-flop styles, since sand from beach walking, or dirt from outdoor activities gets under and sandpapers my skin raw.
These things generally last me about five or more years, providing the dog doesn't chew them up, and they withstand constant use, wear, washing, salt water, soap scrubs, and sun the whole time.
The sandals themselves are fine but after some wear the shoc pad starts digging into your foot. Walking in them is painful.
True to size, comfy and performs well in any activity he does in them.
These are a worthy replacement. I saw a number of comments about the heel pad, general comfort, and adjustability, and I honestly can't imagine that these people are reviewing the same product that I bought. My foot fits wonderfully in the sandal, and the first time I had them on, I wore them for a long outing: driving an hour, walking around for about four hours, then drove an hour home. I had no trouble with the heel cap digging into my foot (I even tried several positions to see if I could make it do so), and I had no chafing from the connecting ring (which has a cloth pad under it, and they fit snugly after a couple of tries at adjusting the straps. My only guess is that people are buying them a half size too small.
I'd recommend these to anyone who needs an excellent, durable pair of sport sandals.
They are so soft and comfortable , yet .... Very durable .
From personal experience .... The will travel with you for years
