Don't Buy From Pharmacy - byecycle on Jul 12, 2010

Having just been alerted to monitor my glucose I purchased the True2Go Meter. When the starter kit was empty I went to CVS Pharmacy and was charged $34.97 for a 50 count of strips. What a rip off! The meter works great the strips work great just price shop...the same 50 count was less than [...] bucks here at Amazon.

I tested TRUEtest strips on the same morning as my test at the doctors office and the reading was accurate. I'm using the True2Go meter, which is very easy to use. The meter and strips are more affordable than other brands, so knowing they are accurate is a relief. I definitely recommend this product.

This is the best price you can get anywhere online. Walgreen is a rips your wallet off when you buy these strips. These fit the same walgreen brand Truetest so it saves you ton of money. Dont' buy those costly diabetics machine.

Oh where to begin? I'll just keep it short. These strips are great. I ordered the 100 pack as if you do a cost analyis, you see that thie is (by far) the best value for this many strips anywhere. They use a small blood sample and go perfectly with my meter. I have yet to run into an issue with them. Furthermore, shipping was prompt and they were sealed and exactly as described. Couldn't ask for more in a product.

I used the same drop of blood with True Test strips and One Touch strips for 10 days. True Test strips were CONSISTENTLY about 8 or 9 numbers below One Touch. I feel that I could get the same results with True Test by just adding 9 to every result. The real problem is the governmental standards which allow the results to be plus or minus 20 from the real blood sugars.

As of 2011, there is not anything better and cost effective product for blood glucose testing than truetest test strips.

whether you buy 50 or 100 or 200, this brand is the best. Make sure which amazon merchant you are buying from as some merchants sell expired products.

I got 50 strips from Bargain OTC and they are new un-expired with expiry date beyond 1+ years, that means I am free to use my test strips for 1 year.

something to note here:

I think once you open the test-strip container, you have to use entire set within 3 months. I am not sure how they can sell 100 or 200 and expect users to do 100 or 200 tests in 3 months. Yes even if the test strip is not expired , it needs to be used within 3 months of opening it. Thus it makes sense to buy multiple box of 25 or 50 each than buy 1 box of 100.

Everything from the product packaging to the placement on the Amazon web page led me to believe this was a different refill with a VERY similar name. These test strips will not work with my meter so I completely wasted my money.

Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time I've gotten burned on Amazon due to misunderstanding. Because of this, I will have to think twice before ordering again.
