My daughter is diagnosed with Aspberger's Syndrom and has not slept through the night except sporadically since she was born (she is 4 now). This stuff is a godsend!!!! We had been crushing the pill form and putting it into pudding to get it down her and then we found this. It has a pleasent sweet orange flavor that she loves and she willingly takes her 'night-night medicine' every evening about 30 minuets prior to bedtime. She is falling asleep easier and getting a sustained and more restful sleep through the night. We no longer have our days starting at 4:30 a.m. and she is sleeping fitfully through the night! She is much more pleasent in the mornings and not so whiny and demanding. It has created a night and day difference in her behaviors and our family life is getting better as well. I highly reccomend this to anyone who has a youngster that has sleep difficulties!

This melatonin works great - for my kids and for me both. Most pill forms are in 1 mg or 3 mg or even higher dosages. My daughter only needs 1/3 of the dropper to be able to fall asleep and the liquid form works faster than the pills. The dosage is also more precise than me trying to cut up the little pills into thirds. Flavor is great too - tastes good! We've bought this repeatedly and will continue to do so.

Ever since going through Menopause, I have had a terrible time trying to get to sleep and stay asleep through the night. I have tried Xanex, Ambien, Lunesta you name it and they all have terrible side effects! So, in my quest for something natural I found this and it did the trick! The only thing I found was when I tried more than 1 mg I had really crazy dreams and sometimes morning grogginess. My husband uses more, but he weighs more than I do ( I weigh approx 125-30 pounds)and he is amazed at how well he sleeps too!
I highly recommend this product!!! No grogginess ( when the right amount is used) and I feel rested and great all day! I recommend that you play around with the dosage at first and find your perfect amount and you will be getting veerrryy sleeeepyyy before you know it :D

This is a fabulous product! It used to take between 2 and 2 1/2 hours for our nine year old autistic son to fall asleep at night. We learned about Melatonin but this was the only liquid form that he would take. We give him 2 or 3 dropper fulls each night with a little water and he drinks it right down. Has a slight orange taste, which I think tastes good, and my son is super picky and likes it too.

Source naturals is an awesome sleep aid. I cant really compare it to others because i first bought pill form at a store and never bought anything else. I thought i would give this liquid a try for something different and to be able to control exactly how many mg im taking. This stuff puts you out in about 20-30 minutes.. i take 2-4mg depending on the situation..and how often ive been taking it. the taste is okay. not bad but not awesome. its a great alternative to a pill. i will definately buy again when i run out.

Melatonin was suggested to me by my childs therapist a few weeks back. At first it seemed to be working fine but after a few days we started to see odd side effects. She was waking even more at night. She was irritated all though the day and just could seem to regulate her behavior. Since being off it she seems more at ease. Now I didn't count this against the product since it was really an artifact of her reaction rather than being a bad product. Just wanted to spread the word. I'm not going to address whether melatonin works or not. Maybe it is all placebo but that doesn't really matter to me.

What I am going to address is the high quality of this product. For starters both the bottle and the built-in dropper are made of glass. That is important to me because I'm tired of plastic contaminating my food products. Next, the liquid tastes great. I'm not sure what they use to flavor it but I like it a lot. Lastly the little squeeze bulb that sucks the liquid into the dropper is a high quality rubber.

I'm not even sure how they sell this so cheaply. If you're going to use melatonin then this is a really good choice.

Our pediatrician recommended trying Melatonin for our son Ty (age 5 1/2) who was recently diagnosed with ADHD. We wanted to make sure to address any issues that may be affecting his behavior (nutrition, sleeping) before trying stimulant medication. One of the first things I noticed, although this is a highly rated product and many parents used it for their children is that the bottle says, "Not for use by children, teenagers...." Is this just a liability thing, or does anyone know why the bottle says this? We got another brand that says the same thing, but all of the research I've done on Melatonin says that it is perfectly safe for children, and I've read many parent reviews and comments about giving Melatonin to children as young as a few months old.

Anyway, to the product: I have noticed that when he takes the Melatonin (1 mg) he seems to fall asleep quicker and get a more restful sleep. However, the theory with our pediatrician was that maybe getting a more restful sleep will help with some of his impulsive, hyperactive behavior and so far that has NOT been the case. I can't really blame the Melatonin for that, though!

Overall, I think this is a great product and we are happy with our shipping experience from Amazon and the price of the product.

It works, that's the only thing I'm interested in, I don't care if it has alcohol in it! I just put a dropper-full of Melatonin under my tongue and I fall asleep within 15 minutes. Next day I feel refreshed and ready to have a good day. Big difference from taking those meds to make you sleep... next day you can hardly wake up, at least that used to happen to me.

I have been using this product for over a year now and it is exceptional. Two or three dropper fulls under the tongue and I have a fairly good to excellent sleep every night. Nothing else I have tried has worked this well. Having this product after a glass of milk enhances sleep potential even more, which is something I do on the weekends when I do not need to get up for work early the next morning. The smell and flavor of the melatonin is a crisp citrus orange scent which is pleasing and the taste is pleasant also. My only criticism is that the label on the bottles absorbs water and can absorb the product if you drip down the side, which tends to happen. The label becomes soggy and messy after a while, but it is not a big deal. The dropper and glass bottle are sturdy and last the full length of the contents with no problems. A quality product which I highly recommend you try. Few things are more valuable than your quality sleep, and it is worth the investment.

We are all different....that said, I will just say this product did nothing for me except bring on grogginess about an hour after I took it. Then, I slept uneasily for a few hours and woke up.

I have taken "drug store melatonin" before with pretty decent results.

It may work for you.....do I hear any bids on the 2 bottles I will never use again?

This product works quite well. But when I ordered bi-monthly delivery I didn't realize how long each bottle will last me. It turns out each bottle will last me for just about one month. I need to change the arrangement so that the product is delivered to me every three months! But: I couldn't find out how to make that change when I pulled up Amazon.com. Help!!
