It took 2-3 nights to get used to having it in, but it has only come out once on it's own in almost 3 weeks of use. It has stopped my snoring and I feel more well rested in AM (was having morning headaches - "cobwebs" probably from the snoring but better now).
It is very similar to the mouthgaurd you can get at retailers for sports for about 6-7 bucks (the ones that you heat up and mold to teeth that have both upper and lower together), but made of a slightly more moldable/comfortable substance. A sports guard might be worth a test run and if working, you can order one of these slightly more comfortable ones.
