I started a new inhaler & it was making me gag. I purchased the OptiChamber in hopes of making things better.It has. I have been able to use inhaler now with no gagging & it keeps me from inhaling too fast by the music warning. It is easy to clean and ready to use when it arrives. I highly recommend this product !

My Doctor tells me that using a spacer increases the effictiveness of an inhalor. He told me the choices were these: Spend $30 for a spacer, or make one yourself for free out of a used water bottle. The homemade item wouldn't be quite as effective, but better than nothing. Then I saw this item for about $10 on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. It works very well, and I think it's a good investment, considering how expensive inahlors have become since the wacko environmentalists have stopped the drug companies from using inexpensive propellants.

Great choice for young and old! This spacer or chamber provides the child or adult with a better chance to get all the medicine into the lungs and not into the mouth. This chamber can help prevent thrush and bad taste in the mouth.

I got this from my son. We had one with a mask, but since he is older now, the nurse recommended we try this kind. It is great. One end comes off so you can store the inhaler inside the tube. And there is a cover for the mouth peice so it stays clean floating at the bottom of my purse.

My son is 8 years old. When he exhales it makes a sound like a fog horn. It is a little embarrasing when you are trying to be discrete. But more importantly, the horn sound makes him laugh everytime - he can't breathe in the medicine when he is laughing. That is the only drawback I have with this product.

I have been looking for one of these for awhile and was very happy to find it on Amazon. I had found two in Wal*Mart and one was listed as prescription only?? and both were priced very high (over $40.00). I had purchased one in Canada for $20.00, but finding it here and it being the exact same thing for half that price was a good find. It is a good quality product.
