Editorial Reviews
Pre-Seed is the only safe lubricant to use while trying to conceive. Unlike other lubricants that may damage sperm, Pre-Seed actually mimics your body's natural secretions to create a "sperm friendly" environment in which fertilization can occur.

Please realize that this is a lubricant. One that claims to be sperm friendly. It is NOT a fertility drug or magic potion that will help you get pregnant. However, if you suffer from dryness, it may make trying to conceive more comfortable (and give those spermies some more mucus to get to the egg.)
My husband and I have been using this product for a long time, whether trying to conceive or not because it works well for us as a lubricant. The applicator is great because:
1) It doesn't get as messy as other products, keeping your hands clean.
2) It puts the lub where you want it. (in our case internally)
3) Its clear so you can see how much to measure out letting you control how much you need before applying it.
To those who got pregnant within the first several months of trying, consider yourselves extremely blessed. Pregnancy is an unbelievable miracle when you understand fully all the timing, body chemistry and physiology required.
If you suffer dryness problems and you're trying to conceive, it's probably worth the investment to see if this product is comfortable for you.

My wife and I had been trying for over a year using only Clearblue Fertility Starter Kit (Packaging May Vary) with no luck. We both eat ultra healthy and stay in great shape (running, swimming, weights, yoga, pilates). We finally decided to go to a fertility clinic and were thinking about using IVF. I even had "my boys" examined and was told by the doctor that a large percentage of my sperm was abnormal. You can imagine the disappointment. I found Pre-Seed on Amazon, saw the reviews, and told my wife it's worth a shot before shelling out the cash for in vitro. We're not sure if it was the first or second time we used it, but my wife and I finally conceived and my wife proceeded to give birth to our first, a baby boy, in January 2010. We were thinking it might have just been a coincidence or luck, but when we tried to conceive again with Pre-Seed for our second child it worked again. This time we know it was definitely the first time we used it. And now we're expecting our second child next February.
Final thought - it may not work for everyone, but for $20 it is definitely worth purchasing and trying considering the alternatives.
Cons: Price-It's expensive for a lubricant, but it's also much cheaper than the fertility alternatives of IUI/IVF. I would recommend trying this product first. We used the one with the applicators. When you apply externally it tends to get sticky/tacky quite soon after & during extended sessions it tends to dry up pretty quickly. We solved this problem by applying slightly more product.
Note- It will NOT automatically make you pregnant!! My husband and I have been using this for going on 4 cycles now and we are still TTC & praying that it happens for us soon. This is a great product, but pregnancy may still take some time...The box only states that it doesn't kill sperm & creates a neutral PH, there is no 'magic' in this product. For those with problems with decreased CM it will be of great benefit. Use in conjunction with Mucinex & green tea for the best results. There are so many reviews from people that say they got pregnant their 1st cycle using this product; great news for them, but it can take more time for others! Don't give up!
Info from fertility site:
"It often takes a number of perfectly timed cycles before pregnancy is achieved.
The chances of getting pregnant each cycle varies a bit with age. If you are
20-25, your chance per cycle are about 25%. From there they begin to fall off.
At 25-30 your chances are about 20%. At 30-35 they are about 15%. After 35 they
may be about 10% per ovulatory cycle, and the chances continue the downward
trend.
This means that the average woman under 30 will get pregnant within 6 cycles.
Women in their early 30s get pregnant on average by the end of 9 cycles. Mid-30s
would be a year. At any age you are considered infertile if you have been having
regular unprotected intercourse for a year without conception; however, women
over 35 should seek treatment after 6 months."

We heard about PreSeed and decided to give it a try. First time using it- We are pregnant!!!!
I am now 6 weeks along and still in shock! Great product.
I knew before even getting it, that I should NOT follow the dosage guidelines for the product, as several people advised that "a little" goes a long way. So, I used about 1/2 way to the first marker on the applicator the first time, and found that to be almost too much.
It made it a lot easier for on demand intimacy to be performed much more comfortably, and as anyone who's TTC'ing knows... On Demand baby dancing can not only be rushed, and not romantic, but if in a super rush, it can sometimes be uncomfortable for both parties involved.
Happy to say... this made it more comfortable, and I was able to relax more knowing that this is a conception friendly lubricant.
When I contacted the seller for a refund, they refused because it was opened as per their policy. But NO WHERE on their seller site does it list their policy besides asking you to contact them. Shame that they are not clear in their policies.
The biggest positive thing about Pre-Seed is that there aren't other commercial lubricants out there that can claim to be fertility friendly. Sure, you can go the DIY route and use egg whites or oil or whatever, but those are your only other options - it's Pre-Seed, DIY or bust. Texturally, it's sort of halfway between KY Jelly and Astroglide - not as runny as the latter, not as goopy as the former. I never found the need to reapply, and one tube will go a long way.
For the negative, I found Pre-Seed's instructions and applicators cumbersome and ineffective. The tampon-style applicator screws on to the end of the tube for filling, then is meant to be inserted into you and the plunger depressed, ideally depositing the lubricant neatly inside to mimic natural secretions. Unfortunately, the method left me under-lubricated at my "entry" and subsequently rather uncomfortable... until we ran out of the one-time-use applicators (during month one of trying to conceive!) and I went to the put-a-dab-on-your-finger-and-rub-it-around method, which worked perfectly for us. I used less of the product and was more comfortable: win-win.
I do feel like I should mention, for anyone trying to conceive, that we were warned (by my OB-GYN) that although Pre-Seed was fine to use, we shouldn't take it as an excuse to fast-forward our attempts to conceive - that being truly aroused would help my body be the most hospitable and welcoming it could be. Not exactly easy advice to follow when you're tired and sore and doing it "because it's now or not at all," but it was good advice for us in the end!
Ultimately, I do recommend Pre-Seed, though I would encourage users to remember: it's not supposed to be an "aid" to conception; that the guidelines on "how to use" don't need to be followed precisely; and that it shouldn't be used as a replacement for being aroused.
Best of luck to everyone out there trying to conceive!
