My husband bought me Nose Better a few years back, because he couldn't find what I'd sent him for. What luck! I've used nothing since! It works great, especially for getting you through the night with a stuffy nose. I used it on my 5-year-old granddaughter when she couldn't breathe due to a stuffy nose, and she was then able to sleep peacefully. Her mom now carries it in her purse all the time. It's great for kids. It may "burn" a bit when you first use it, but if you apply more right away it takes that feeling away, and after a few times, it doesn't do that anymore. Also, it's not petroleum based, so you can actually use it inside your nostrils, too.

This has got to be the best "nose care" stuff ever invented! A friend gave me some of this years ago, and I was hooked after that! Put this on your stuffy, pink, sore nose, and it will stop hurting virtually on contact. It will stop being "Rudolphish" pretty soon - within hours. And it doesn't smell like Vicks, either. Has a rather pleasant aroma. It actually has a decongestive effect, as well. However, I would use it just to make my poor nose stop hurting when I have a cold or allergies.

I have hated using this stuff my entire life due to the fact that it is so strong and can really give a burning sensation on raw skin. However, without a question, it works wonderfully. It isnt seen in many stores anymore, and I never understood why. The online price is a little high but this is by far the best raw skin relieving product I have ever used. It really will last in your home for years and is well worth the cost.

While I don't always have allergies...it happens sometimes. This product is one of the best products if you are suffering from sneezing from allegies...it not only helps the sneezing, but also helps repair chafed noses!!! It is a little pricey...but worth it! Longs Drug Store stopped selling it in Hawaii since CVS took over. Haven't been able to find it at any other store here.

I am an allergy sufferer and when I have a particularly bad attack, my nose will become red, irritated, raw, and even develop a cold sore inside my nostril (eeww!). I don't remember when or where I found this, but it's been years. It became harder and harder to find. I tried the small mom & pop drug store; they couldn't even order it anymore. I thought of checking Amazon and WOW, there it was. It's just as good as I remember. It feels great, even if it stings, immediately put on a little more and it stops stinging. It has such a mild scent, not overwhelming like Vicks, yet it provides a little decongestant property. But it's safe to use inside the nostril where most products advise you not to apply to mucus membranes. The Nose Better cost a bit, but it will last a while and it's cheaper all the other products I've tried and didn't work. I've recently tried some other nose gels. They're nothing more than gelled water; I don't want to know how they did that.

A wonderful product that should still be sold in Drug stores which is where I first discovered it. It would possibly keep the price down (it is a little high) and also save with shipping. CVS used to carry it and if its not more popular its because people only discover it by word of mouth or trying it by chance from someone else. Advertise the product! It would definitely bring customer demand! My husband and I both use it because in the winter we are constantly blowing our nose and the nasal passages get very raw. Nose better provides instant relief with its cooling gel and aroma. A excellent product that does what it says - it really works! Try it - you nose will thank you!

This stuff is great! I'd never heard of it and someone recommended it to me when I had a cold and it got rid of the redness around my nostrils very quickly! Plus, it makes it feel better as well. I use it on my children now whenever they have colds.

This is a wonderful product for treating sore, dry, irritated noses. It doesn't coat the mucous membranes like petroleum-based products so it can be used inside the nostrils. As a year-round allergy sufferer, my nose is running and being wiped almost constantly. This leads to irritation, redness and chapping. Once the skin around my nose cracks, I'm prone to getting cold sores in my nostrils (yes, just like the ones you get on your lips). Since I started using the Nose Better gel over a year ago, this hasn't been a problem. Wonderful product - I recommend it highly.

I thought this product would be more like Ponaris but a little less expensive. I tried using it like ponaris at first and plopped a large-ish glob into my nose/sinuses and it kind of stung like hell. It then made me sneeze a lot and made my nose burn and freeze at the same time. It is more like vapor rub than a nasal emollient. It made my nose run from the strong smell so I imagine if you are stuffed up it would be pretty good but I was looking for more of a sinus emollient.

this is amazing stuff for tender sore noses inside and out. It relieves the dryness inside and the soreness outside better than anything ever tried. My last tube lasted 10 years or so and sometime the company changed hands so it is no longer available in stores. YOu will not regret buying. I just got three tubes for stocking stuffers.

As an avid skier at high altitudes my nose is constantly dry. I researched products for relief and found climbers at very high elevations use this product. I tried it, and as a medical professional, I was skeptical. But it is amazing. The light menthol kept my sinus cavity clear so I didn't get altitude headaches and my nasal passages stayed moist. My brother tried it as he gets nose bleeds when we first arrive above 9K feet. For the first time his nose did not dry out and cause a bleed. Of course, while indoors for sleeping we continued with the room humidifers but carried Nose Better with us to the slopes and used it frequently while indoors. It's hard to find in retail so am thankful for Amazon's awareness to carry it. Great stuff!

Nose Better is the only product I've found for those situations where the inside of your nose is so dry it actually hurts. Usually due to climate (I live in the Albuquerque area), often made worse by flying OR when I take benadryl for my allergies.

A tiny bit goes a long way - you simply put a tiny amount on your fingertip and rub it inside your nose. Instant relief! A slight menthol smell that goes away in a couple of minutes. At first, there's a slight cool feeling (like you get with menthol products), but after that, you don't really feel much of anything at all except that the dryness is gone.

One tube has lasted me years! I haven't found it in stores, but thankfully, did find it on Amazon.com.

When I was a child, I had a horrible time with stuffy, red noses. One of my day-care teachers recommended this when I came to her with a cold - I pushed my mother to keep buying it and have continued to use it ever since!! Speaking from the experience of having had trouble learning to blow my nose and always having trouble as a child whose parents did not like it, this stuff was immensely more appealing that having a baby's nasal aspirator used to try to clear things up. I would highly recommend it to any parents who are trying to make dealing with colds easier for their own children.

It does have a slight burning sensation when you initially put it on but it clears up all the redness and soreness and helps to allow clearer breathing as well. One tube can literally last years and it really does pay for itself - very little is needed on each application. I was bitterly disappointed when my local pharmacy stopped carrying it and was ecstatic when I found it available through here.

This is a superb product to keep your nose clear in dry weather. I always take it with me when I travel out west during ski season. I could not sleep without it. It is very difficult to find on shelves in retail stores here in the States. Unless you're in Canada, it's best to purchase through Amazon.

Best product I have found for sores which can occur in the nostrils from very dry, cold weather (especially during ski season). It gives immediate pain relief while providing a great smelling product which promotes healing while keeping the nostrils moisturized. Our daughter did not complain when she had to use it. My only complaint is that Nose Better is not easily found in the local pharmacies and had to be ordered online.

I have been using Nose Better for over 15 years. I have allergy and sinus problems and I have found just a dab of this at the base of each nostril helps me sleep at night - especially in the winter. Ever had a cold where you nose gets red and sore? Nose Better prevents that. Start using it when the cold develops, rubbing a little around the outside of your nose several times a day, and you won't have a problem.

I love Nose Better - just wish the originator hadn't sold his product to another company who more than tripled the price. It has been years since I've been able to find it in any drug store, so I'm grateful to find a place to secure it on-line.
