Unfortunately this did not work for me. That doesn't mean it will not work for you. I tried swishing it, gurgling it, drinking it followed with no water, drinking it with an empty stomach, and drinking it with food and water. I still continued to hack away and had a huge amount of congestion after taking this medicine. If you don't down it, it tastes awful, like cheap candy mixed with cheap alcohol.

First of all it is only 11.99 at cvs not fifteen like here. So much cheaper. I know just got it today and that is what i paid. Plus tax of course but still cheaper than here with shipping.

Anyhow, The stuff is nasty taste wise. I hate it but no bad smell like the other reviewer here said. Anyhow had 3 doses today and still stuffed up. No relieving my headaches. Maybe making them eve worse in fact. Will continue until I finish the bottle and see. I will edit the review afterwards and update with what happened. But so far not thinning mucus like it says on thew bottle. Complete waste of money.

EDIT: just finished the whole bottle tonight and still stuffed up. Barley working. Bad product inn my opinion.

This stuff tastes horrible, but it works great! The initial taste is not bad and resembles blue raspberry. However, the aftertaste is simply terrible and is 100% spot on to the smell of human body odor. It literally tastes like a person smells who has not worn anti-perspirant/deoderant in months. It is amazing how accurately they copied the smell. That said, I will still buy this stuff because it blows every other OTC cough syrup on the planet away in performance!!!
