I can't imagine how painful raising a newborn through the first weeks would have been before simethicone - the magical ingredient that turns a crying, suffering baby into a playful and happy one. I am not one for writing reviews - but this stuff really works wonders. My son has major gas issues - and the doctor prescribed Mylicon - which one cannot find due to the recent recall. Enter Little Tummies - with their cute logo and an effective product thoughtfully packaged. Everything is great about this product except for two items:

(a) The seal should be easier to open - as most parents only have one hand available when they need to open this seal ;-)
(b) Why can't the bottle come in larger sizes - like 4 oz or so? Makes little sense to waste so much plastic per ounce of this medicine (unless corporate greed dictates this level of packaging).

Overall - a great product - you can't go wrong with this one. Look for them in three-packs as those are the most economical.

I have a 16 month old girl that often ends up with gas pain that wakes her up during the night. This works well on our daughter to help end her gas and gas pain, and works great if given before bedtime when you know what items cause your baby to have gas. I don't think it tastes that great, but my daughter seems to love the taste and we don't have any problems getting her to take the medicine. I strongly suggest purchasing this online (and buy several - you may need this often) versus buying in the store. You usually cannot find this in a store for less than $12-$15, versus around $3-$4 per bottle online.

This works great for my son who is 2 months old. I find it works best to give it to him halfway through a feeding. Really helps him to burp and feel better faster. I've heard others mix it in a bottle. Have not tried this.

Used only twice on my 1.5 months old girl. I still cannot believe how my baby burps in seconds after the drop. I hope it doesn't make my baby depend completely on this to burp in the future.

Not much much more to say but this product works great. Ive tried cheaper products and they work too but I found myself preferring this product. I highly recommend it.

We used Mylicon at first and those drops seemed to work well enough but they are very expensive. So we switched to a generic brand and baby hated the taste so much he would spit it out. Little Tummys seems to be our best solution- a reasonable price and baby likes the taste. The best part- it works!! Within seconds baby gets visible relief from painful gas; a must have now. I just wish the little dropper was easier to read (it's opaque color doesn't help when you're trying to measure the appropriate dosage).

My son had bad gas for the first month or so of life and this product saved my butt everytime. Just putting it in his mouth calmed him down. I also put it in bottles on occassion to prevent gas.
