Editorial Reviews
Invacare reusable bed pads for incontinence are the key to keeping ones mattress (or whatever used on) dry, clean and fresh. Not only is it waterproof but it also has three added layers for protection and extra comfort. On top is a comfy 50% cotton and 50% polyester surface, beneath is an absorbent which consists of 65% polyester and 35% rayon, and on bottom is a completely waterproof 100% vinyl backed polyester backing.If/ when the bed pad gets dirty have no fear, these are washer and dryer safe!

Excellent Item At Great Price! - Jiggy Bear on Oct 22, 2004

These bed pads are excellent quality, washable in hot water with bleach, and are very comfortable to sleep on. The alternative, disposable kind tend to bunch up and slide, are noisy and are bulky when disposed of (not environmentally friendly), although they can be handy. These are very economical if bed pads are needed often, and are handy to have on hand when picking up kids after they've been swimming, or to put down when a guest needs to change a baby's diaper. These are an extra measure of protection (chair, bed or carseat) for mild urinary incontinence. I recommend buying two or three so you always have a nice fresh one available, and checking out the different sizes available to meet your needs. The price is very competitive, as they sell for much more elsewhere. Compared to disposables, these are an excellent value for the money, and are a real time saver considering the effort it takes to completely change bedding.

Great Product. - Bargain Hunter on Dec 23, 2008

I've used these for a few weeks now so I'm confident I can give a knowledgable review. They cover a very generous area on the bed and when you have a bed ridden individual they can scoot up and down the mattress more than you would think so this is important. This pad gives superior coverage of bed area. Also they wash really well which gives them good durability. Highly recommend.

Great Value - > on Apr 12, 2009

I was skeptical about the low price, but gave it a go. They wash up without shrinking, absorb and remain soft. Great buy. They are strong too, If your patient is small enough, you can use them for a lift sheet.

Great Product - Terrahawk "terrahawk on Apr 28, 2010

I have a dog that has urinary incontinence and am using these pads over her dog beds. I have had 4 pads a couple weeks and have washed each one several times already, I'd approximate 8-10 times. Yes, it's that bad, but only when she sleeps, which is several times througout the day. These pads have saved me a ton of time and frustration, if not $$$ on utilities. It's much cheaper and more efficient to wash these than her dog bed covers or replacing her dog beds. A couple times she's "cut loose" when in a deep, game-chasing sleep and these pads have absorbed everything my large dog can dish out thus far. She has soaked a significant portion of a queen-sized bed in the past, enough to make me think my step-daughter had crawled into bed and peed.

Since "typical" output is 30ml/hr, 1,000cc or ml is great absorbability. I'm going to make sure I use these between nursing school semesters when the hard drinking starts! (just kidding)

I highly recommend these for their absorption, washability, BLEACHability (awesome!), and value.

Great Product - S. Snyder on Oct 1, 2009

I purchased several of these to line the bottom of my dog's crate and cover his dog bed while he was suffering with incontinence from kidney disease. The pads saved me from having to toss out his pillow from getting soaked with urine. They do hold a lot of urine without any leak through and are easily washed and dried many times even using bleach on them they have held up nicely. Just don't use any fabric softeners on them because it does affect their ability to absorb over time.

Excellent Product - But Looking For Lower Cost Alternative - CMM on Jul 24, 2010

This is an excellent product - but they are a bit too expensive for our budget. It would be nice to have at least two or more of these.

They are comfortable and stay in place nicely. IF the price does not deter - they are well made.

Very Useful And Well Made - M. Boden on Jan 27, 2010

I bought these before and have been using them for many years now. I care for my 98 year old mother at home and these work great for keeping the bed dry. They wash well and the original three that I got a few years ago are still doing the job after many hundreds of washings. This size is large enough that you can cover the middle of the bed and still have enough to tuck under the mattress on one side to keep the pad from moving around.

Bedpad - Micah Neuroth on May 10, 2011

I was happy with the item until I noticed that it said not for children under 12. I tried contacting the manufacurer why, but have not recieved a resopnse. Hope this might help someone thinking of using it for children.

Great Product - Shane Gary on Sep 15, 2010

This was perfect for us to help with out 5 year old wetting the bed. This is big enough to cover the bed as she rolls around but small enough to go with other things in the washer/dryer. We haven't had any issues with it moving around and it absorbs everything.

Perfect Pad - Mel on Oct 29, 2010

I got this for my potty training 3 yr old son, PERFECT! Easy to wash & it isn't big or bulky.

Great Pad - THarre on Oct 6, 2011

Our son is 4 and still wets the bed regularly. I bought 5 of these pads, and then went to a craft store and purchased some suspender clamps to keep it in place throughout the night. We keep a pad clamped to his fitted sheet every night, and can easily switch it out he has an accident. These pads are very absorbent, comfortable, and washable. This was a great internet find and I would recommend this bed-wetting solution to everyone.

Great Product! For Canine And Humans Too! - belugaham on May 20, 2011

Bought this for my 16 year old dachshund who is having bladder issues. Disposable/throwaways are not an option - they don't hold enough and fall apart - he ends up soaking wet. So I had purchased a few washable ones in the drug store but they shrank after washing - they are now the size of a table placemat. Bought another type at an on-line store and it works well but has "wings" (pieces that extend to tuck under a twin mattress) - my little guy doesn't need one like that plus the top was polyester. Tried Invacare's product because I used to work with their stuff years ago and thier products always had a good following and reputation. Just like then - this pad does exactly what I need it to do. I have purchased several. If he wets one, I just toss it in the washer & dryer and put a fresh one down. Much easier all the way around - soft cotton top, holds a good amount of liquid, easy clean-up and he stays pretty dry. Funny thing is - my 73 year old Mother saw them on her last visit. Asked where I got them and if I could get her two for her. She said she had been looking for one with a cotton top becuase the polyester tops make her sweat too much. The Invacare ones that I had well just what she had been looking for.

Great Absorbant Pad! - Sightseeing Mom on Jan 10, 2011

I bought this for my 4 year old who sometimes wets the bed. I was tired of changing the sheet and mattress pad and buying this pad has solved my problem. It is made of good quality and I am happy with this purchase.

Excellent Buy - El Aramus "Another b on Nov 26, 2010

The hours saved in laundering bedsheets has paid for this purchase twice over already. Side sleeper with occasional heavy leaks. This product has saved the sheets every time.

Reusable Bedpad - Amazon customer on Oct 21, 2010

Really holds a lot of liquid. Great for older pets.
Would not hesitate to order again - best price I found.

Very Pleased - Rhonda on Oct 20, 2010

I like this pad. It is very comfortable and soft to the skin. It is durable, but it does move a little when you sleep. I haven't washed it yet, but I think it will withstand washing. Overall, I think its a great deal for the money.

Good Bedpad - mary on Oct 18, 2010

I recently purchased 3 of this item and then purchased another 3 of them. My husband has physical problems and these bedpads have helped me keep him dry and comfortable, which is so important. They are a good size to wash easily and so far are holding up well.

Reusable Bedpads - Scarlett on Sep 19, 2010
