Ok if you're reading this review, I feel it is safe to assume you can handle a more "detailed" review.

I'll start by saying that this is the first "lube" I've ever tried. My girlfriend and I decided to give lube a shot to see if we liked it. We've never needed it per se, but always thought it might be a fun change. I read the reviews and decided a water based lube would be the best fit and this seems to be a pretty popular one on Amazon.

I decided to try it out on myself before subjecting the girlfriend to it. I'll just come right out and say it, this stuff is awesome. It's super slippery, doesn't get sticky/tacky, lasts quite a while, and cleanup is a breeze. Girlfriend got to try it the next night and we are totally hooked. It helps so much to have just that extra little bit of lubrication to keep things running. We use it to warm each other up, but then if I decide to go down on her (or vice versa), the taste doesn't make you want to throw up. In fact, it's kind of sweet and not at all nasty.

Makes sex much more enjoyable as we don't have to worry about the goodies getting dried out. Clean up is easy. Doesn't stain sheets. Awesome.

Recommended: Heck yeah!

As a sensual lubricant, ID Glide is much better than KY jelly. ID Glide is more slippery, has a better consistency, lasts longer, costs much less, is oderless, and has only a very faint sweet taste. The dispenser works very well too.

We are an older couple who was checking out the alternatives to the usual tubes of AstroGlide and K-Y. We really didn't expect to find anything better, so ID Glide was a very pleasant surprise. It does in fact give a very smooth and sensuous sensation that bests the others. The lady loves somewhat copious quantities, and we have discovered that it can be so exciting for a man that it can take the sensuality of a hand job to heights that are more pleasurable than oral sex. For women who may not feel in a good position to offer oral sex, ID Glide essentially opens the door to some new levels of sexual experience that a man may feel are more preferable. Between the two of us, we can think of nothing that would not benefit from ID Glide, and the lady was asking me to order more when we still had two-thirds of the bottle left. In her own mind, she's already written off the other brands and means to toss the remaining amounts. I hope this helps.

I am a lube king. i have used lots of them. this one seems to be the slipperiest which is important. it doesnt last long though, so you have to apply more. thats its downfall compared to the silicone lubes but it feels nicer

This is really the best lube in terms of lubrication quality and the price. It is water-based and hence easy to get rid of. It gets sticky and does require clean-up, but that is not a big deal for us, as we just love the lubrication it provides. Any lube will require clean-up eventually and water-based are usually the best ones since one can be allergic to silicone or chemicals in other types of lubes. Glide doesn't leave marks on sheets either.

And yes, did I mention that it makes back door easier & smooth ;).

Would I recommend this product to anyone? Yes I would. Over and over and over actually. When I need to use lubricant this is the only stuff I will go for. The price is great and it only takes a few drops and your good to go for as long as your body can last. If it starts to dry up all it takes is a little saliva and your set. I've tried several different lubes from several different companies and this is hands down the best.

This is an excellent product. I choose this one over the most common brand KY because we had bad experience with one of KY brand products. The review for this one was good and believed the reviewers and I am glad that I did. Also as suggested by different people, you should buy the big bottle as you may need quite a bit of it each time. The best thing is that it is not messy and it works. We got back our life after we got this product in hand.

KY kept drying out so quick. I also did not like the smell. I purchased the ID Glide. Much better than KY. I have thrown away the KY. The ID Glide is much more slick, lasts much longer than KY. Also, I like the fact that it does not smell like the KY. My wife has no complaints in regards to irritation, odor nor clean-up.

This water based lubricant is very adequate to assist in penetration and enhance pleasure. It is water-based and has little to no taste or smell and is not oily nor does it leave stains on fabrics or clothes. Best when warmed or used, at least, at room temperature although it warms almost instantly when applied. I would recommend it especially as opposed to many oily lubricants advertised as "warming lubricants.

this lube is great. If it seems it is drying out just add a few drops of water to reactivate and you are back in business. It has zero odor, our bed had no stains and if it seems like there is a stain just wash the sheets because it is water based and works like a champ.

This product is great. For one, it's a big bottle and will last a long time. Secondly, a small amount can last forever if you continue to add liquid (water, saliva, pussy juice, etc.) when it seems to wear down or dry out. It doesn't just wash away like other water based lubricants. A girl won't feel like she's drying up during the heat of the moment with this either.

I was a user of Astroglide, that was good. heard a rave review of ID Glide from somewhere, so I decided to try it out. Works just as good, my woman thinks its really good now that I don't have to try too hard to lubricate her in other ways. Now I simply put a few tiny drops wherever I want on her (and she on me), and we can go straight to pleasing each other, rather than going through a long process of 'lubing' her up using spit or her own juice.

Kinda sticky. And not in a good way. It also doesn't last as long as I'd hopped but that may just be me.
On the plus side it's cheap, doesn't stink or irritate myself or my girlfriend. Now, I irritate my girlfriend but this lube doesn't;)

I've been using this lube for a while now. It's really good for your average use, doesn't irritate or leave stains or residue since it's water based, doesn't smell or have a weird taste (if you end up getting some in your mouth). It does dry up initially since it's water based, but I usually don't have to reapply more than once after that. Since it's water based it won't leave you feeling sticky and gross after you use it.

This stuff was a bit thinner than old lube I've used. Only second tube I've tried though, and it is water based, so it's supposed to be kinda thin right? Just thinner than my previous bottle, and I enjoyed the thicker stuff more. Good product though.

okay today i got this lube, and i am like lets give it a quick try, this thing dry so fast unbeleiveable, plus it makes ur skin so sticky, i added water worked for about 10 sec then dries again quick, so i am like lets stick with just the water lol.. but ya this product sucks, i ordered it just because it was high rated and i guess the only people who put it in high rated were the ones who owns the brand... so my $9.48 went right down to the trash...

A brief examination of the product will reveal the ingredient. Some of which have a high hazard rating. Just observe the information on this site before you purchase any lubricant again. On the ID Glide website they specifically mention that... "ID Glide is a very safe lubricant which can be used when pregnant, however if you are worried we recommend using our more sensitive hypoallergenic lubricant ..." It is not the effects on a fetus I am concerned with, however that is an issue all in itself! What I am concerned with is the (potentially daily) exposure of the lubricant as the ingredients are not as safe as the product would lead one to believe.

In order to assess the safety of such lubricants The International Rectal Microbicide Advocates (IRMA) recently released a study examining the effect of lubricants on rectal tissue.

A key finding in the study was that, "...many water-based lubes (such as Astroglide, ID, KY Jelly, and Elbow Grease) are hyperosmolar, meaning they have a higher concentration of soluble components than normal cells in the body, "sucking" away water from inside vaginal/rectal cells, making them shrink in size. A question for IRMA is whether or not this damage is a factor relating to HIV infection risk." The study found that "KY Jelly, ID Glide, Elbow Grease, and Astroglide are similarly toxic for cells, cell lines, and tissues, with Astroglide being the most toxic."
