Editorial Reviews
The Scalp Massager will send tingling sensations from scalp to toes and transport you to a more relaxing place. The custom fit fingers will bend to fit your head. Gently raise and lower the Scalp Massager for a relaxing massage. The smooth tips glide across the surface of your scalp. Use it on your knee joints, elbows, ankles and scalp.

This one has thin, flexible, stainless wires with small plastic nibs at the tips. The wires are not adjustable, but it doesn't matter. I haven't wanted to adjust them. I think this item is simply wonderful; I purchased one at Bed Bath And Beyond and gave it away as a gift (stupid!), then I couldn't find another until I came here to Amazon (yay!).
Note: Unlike the picture, the stem or handle is a textured silver metal, not copper. Doesn't matter to me, though. Feels the same. Awesome.
It is light and easy to use. The best thing is that when those tips touch my head, it feels better than using my fingers! Not only it covers almost all areas (from what I feel), the touch itself is soft, gentle and relaxing! Regardless what amount of strength you use, thanks to its design, it always gives right amount of pressure.
Try it and you will like it. It makes a great gift for non-believer like me.
I would buy this more as a gag gift or a gift for the person who has everything. It can also serve as a conversation piece as it looks a tad strange.
I don't think you should expect this to relieve any chronic pains. I get severe migraines and I did not buy it in attempt to treat those but I was tempted to try it when I had a full-blown headache the other day. It did nothing to relieve the pain.
For the price I purchased the item (3.99), I don't expect it to be long-lasting. The device has little plastic nubs covering the twelve metal prongs. One of the nubs fell off and I had to put some tape on the end. The device looses any level of pleasantness when you have raw metal scraping against your head.
For those that care about the country of origin, this product was made in China.
That's how using this on your head feels. Buy it if you want to feel that.
A++ WOULD BUY AGAIN!!!
Here are some other random uses for it:
- Cat toy and scratcher.
- Stylus for your PDA or mobile phone (the handle has a pencil-like shape to it).
- Antenna for your old-school television.
- Beating eggs.
Ok, I was being facetious. In all honesty, however, this scalp massager was a great buy. Try it!
PS: I am a bit dismayed by this "targeted pricing". When I ordered it, the price was just $2 but every time I have come back to order another, the price has been higher. Its up to almost $5. Still worth it though...
This makes an excellent gift to anyone who has a head. I have also resold them to my clients.
One small thing, this new packaging company should scold whoever did the label. It is very unprofessional to have a misspelling on the outside of the package. (especially the word "massager" since it's the title of the product)
Many happy head tingling to you all!

It would help if the prongs were less flexible and provided some sort of resistance. I'm not upset about the purchase since I paid less than $3 for it. I just want you all to know that it doesn't really massage anything.
...but it does the job. Some of these I've seen aren't constructed properly and don't give you the "ooooo, that's nice"... but this one works. Good value assuming the plastic tips don't fall off - exactly the problem I had with the last one I owned (different model).
I bought my first one 2 days ago and then went back yesterday and bought 3 more for a spare and gifts. I can't handle using this on my knees and elbows--way too tickly--but it is simply divine on my head! Obviously, not everyone will be as thrilled with this product as I am. For example, my son (age 22) said it gave him chills and was interesting, but he has no desire to own one. My husband hasn't tried it yet because he's out of town, but I expect he will love it. Does anyone know why the tip of the handle has a sharp point? Are we supposed to use the pointed tip as part of the message, sorta like acupuncture? I haven't been using that part.
Update on Nov. 10, 2010
I have been using this for several months now (briefly, almost every day)and I still love it! My husband loves it, too! It feels great if you do it to yourself and even better if someone else does it to you.
I'm glad I did! This thing feels AWESOME on my scalp, and my wife loves it as well.
We tried it on a couple of friends who hated it, so not everyone probably will... but I love this thing.
