Very Happy Feet - WCM "gadget guy" on Aug 17, 2010

I got one of these 5-7 years ago and use it when my planter factitious gets bad. It is good at breaking up the sore spots in my arches. The price ($12.95) on Amazon is quite high, although I love the prime shipping. That being said, it worked best for me to order it to my local REI at pick it up for a grand total of $5.41.

I Love This Thing! - Tyler on Jul 29, 2011

I am a runner and triathlete. 25 years old, running for the last 10 years. Consistenly 35 miles a week, 45-50 miles are my longest week of the year. I got one of these balls when I started getting toe cramps and general cramps on the bottom of my feet. I also have ITBS and have been using a foam roller for 2 years with minimal ITBS flare up.

This ball saved me!!! I started using it to get rid of the toe/bottom of foot cramps. I would roll it around on the bottoms of my feet for about 5-10 minutes per foot after a run. I began to notice that my incessantly tight calves were loosening up and my ITBS needed less foam roller work.

I work in a cubical and ended up bringing this ball to work so I could use it while working. I can't recommend this tool highly enough! You should be able to get it much cheaper at your local running store (less than $5).

My advice. Start out gentle for about 1-2 minutes then increase intensity focusing on knotted areas. Make sure to get the furthest inner and outer portions of the bottom of the foot (this can be difficult at first but becomes much easier over time). Try gently flexing and pointing toes to find different areas of tightness on the bottom of your foot.

Lastly. If after using this ball you feel how I do, write a review on Amazon. This has literally saved my legs.

Great Tool For Plantar Therapy - Bobo on Jul 19, 2010

I used this a few years ago, but lost it, and wanted a replacement. It was crucial for my slow comeback from plantar fasciitis injury. Use it before you get out of bed to help warm up your injured foot. I still occasionally use it for healthy feet to keep them in condition. The little spikes keep the ball from shooting out from under your feet, giving you more control as you roll it under your feet.

Good But Select Ball Worked Better For Me - C. Dillman on Aug 28, 2011

I purchased this as well as Select Ball Select 20-537 Foot Massage Ball I found the size of the Select Ball (much larger like a baseball) and texture (more pointed) much more effective for my foot arches and relieving runners pain /bone spur issues. The Rubz ball was just too small (about the size of a golf ball) and the nubs to close together for it to do anything for me.

Great Product - F. Gomez on Sep 1, 2010

Over time some stiples (little bumpy things) might break or fall off, mine have lasted for 5 years so far. Great for feet, hands forearms, back etc.

Great But Buy Elsewhere! - Alejandro Mora on Apr 13, 2011

This is great, use it every morning as I wake up and every night as I get home and out of my shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and this helps relieve the pain.
My only comment is that I paid only $5 at REI, almost half the price!

Great For Sesamoiditis Too! - L. Han on Mar 9, 2011

3 days ago I could barely walk because the ball of my foot hurt was in excruciating pain every time my big toe was bent upwards. Sesamoiditis is basically turf toe that effects the ball of the foot. Combined with contrast baths and icing every hour, using this ball to massage my entire foot has allowed me to walk again. I do deep cross band massaging across the tendons in the arch and then gently roll it over the sesamoids to encourage blood flow. Amazing how much better my foot feels!

Foot Massage In A Ball - LisaD on Jan 27, 2011

This little ball of goodness saves my feet after long runs. I have some plantar factitious from time to time and using the ball relieves the tightness.
I suggest it to runners to avoid the next day sore feet.

Painful On Foot, But Great For My Back. - Amanda S. on Oct 17, 2011

The small size of the ball and the small diameter of the nubs make this way to painful for me to use on my foot. wearing a thick sock while using it means that I can tolerate it, but a bigger ball would be more helpful for me. If you have back pain, however, this might be a really helpful little tool. I very frequently lie on the floor and position the ball under a painfully tight place on my shoulder. Then, I just relax and let the weight of my body press the ball into my shoulder. it is wonderfully helpful for that. a word of warning if you are going to use it in this way: if you bruise easily, you may get light little bruises that match the surface pattern of the ball. one star for foot, 5 stars for shoulder= 3 stars as a rating.

Most Excellent - OC Frank on Apr 20, 2011

Had my doubts when I ordered this little foot massage ball, but "Hey, It works!"

Excellent for all, should last forever....

Was almost $10, but that included shipping....

I Like it!

Good In Theory, But........ - Kiwi on Sep 16, 2011

I get a touch of fasciitis in my left foot every now and again. I walk the the dogs 8 miles every day so my feet are out there gettin' it done. Usually when the season changes from hot to cool, I experience the pain again. Before my feet hit the floor every morning, I do quite a few foot stretches and I continue that throughout the day. I've been using a regular tennis ball for years (stole it from the dogs), but I thought this little ball looked promising so I purchased it. I tried it several times a day for several days and then went back to the tennis ball.

In theory the rubz ball makes perfect sense to me but it didn't do a thing for my foot. I believe that the regular tennis ball works better because it seems to *fit* my size 8 foot better. Somehow the way it rolls under my foot, gives it the proper alignment which I need. For those of you still looking for suggestions on how to cure fasciitis, I highly suggest supplementing with Turmeric. This spice works wonders for inflammation in the body and does a world of good for the body in so many ways.

Great - Kat on Sep 1, 2011

I love this little massage ball. It feels great on hands or feet. Works well as a stress squeeze ball too. The size is fantastic! I keep mine in my purse.

Smaller Than Expected - Blanche Sarong on Aug 26, 2011

This item was smaller than I expected, but after using it a few times, I like it. Don't love it, just like it. Haven't tried it anywhere but the bottoms of my feet, but it feels good once you get used to the little bumps.

Feels Great! - Jean Richardson on Dec 8, 2010

Purchased this along with several other balls. This is by far the best one for foot massage. My plantar fascitis is helped along by regular use of this product.

BEST INVENTION EVER - celinachel "celinach on Sep 13, 2010

Foot Rubz ball is excellent for foot pains and cramps. My boyfriend and I fight for it, so I'm ordering another one =)

The Perfect Size! - Charles Norman on Nov 25, 2011

This ball is the perfect size to fit under all the arches in your foot. I have fallen arches, and I use a lacrosse ball to massage under my foot ... It works great! But this little ball works even better because it's smaller. And the little knobs really feel like a hundred little fingers going to work on my pressure points. Wow, I didn't think such a little thing would bring so much relief!

EXCELLENT! - P. Cannon on Oct 29, 2011

What a wonderful product this is! My feet always hurt and this helps take out all the knots. Great to just put on the floor in front of the couch when you are watching tv and just roll your foot on it. I was surprised how much it hurt at first, lots of crunchy painful spots that just melted away with this tool. Great to use on your neck too or on someone else. I love this and will be getting more for gifts. Great to go along with Mildred Carters book Helping Yourself With Foot Reflexology! Helps show you what area of the body is related to your pain spots on your feet. Very effective and good passive exercise for your legs while you are at rest. Great for hands too!

Feels Good On Sore Feet - Darci Noelle Maurer on Oct 22, 2011

This is a great tool for rubbing my feet. The little nubs all over it definitely massage, and since you roll it over your foot, you can control how much pressure you use. Was easy to use, and I love it after a long day on my feet.

Feels Sooooooo Good ! - Raenbow1 on Oct 22, 2011

This knobby little ball feels really good when you roll your foot on it. Relieves tension spots and gives a miny massage all at once. It is good for rolling on other body parts as well but your feet will love you for using it!

Hard Little Gadget - Penelope40 on Sep 16, 2011

Was excited to get product but feel a little let down. The ball is smaller than I thought it would be and definitely is very hard. My feet are not overly sensitive but I don't feel any sort of massaging comfort using this. It rather hurts instead.

Little Bit O' Heaven - Barbara Romiti on Aug 21, 2011

I love this little ball. It really helps relieve the pain in my foot, which is caused by plantar fasciitis. Even better? It is portable! I do a lot of traveling, and I recently took it with me to help me after long walks through a big city. Definitely worth the money!

Really Good Foot Massage - Thomas Attix "Urban on Mar 1, 2011

Not to down play the medical benefits but just as a foot massage, this thing rocks. My feet are happier than they've been in a while.

Foot Rubz Massage Ball Is Okay... - Courtneyy on Jan 16, 2012

I originally wanted this ball because my neck and back were very tense. I wanted to use the ball to relieve stress and get out some of those "knots". When I received the product, it was a bit small so it's kinda hard to use on your back, but for your hands and feet its great! The spikes on the ball are a bit rough, but not to bad. The shipping time for this ball was great, I only had to wait a few days. Overall, this ball is okay for a foot or hand massage, but for the price I would recommend getting another ball...

Perfect For A Dancer's Foot - Erik Novoa on Nov 10, 2011

As a professional dancer, this little green ball takes all the stress out of the underside of the foot. It gives great relief for any platar faciatis pain. Is is small enough to carry with you; but I just leave mine under my desk. It's a must-have for any athlete or dancer (from ballet to ballroom).

Foot Healer - L. H. Enriquez-Escal on Oct 21, 2011

About a year ago I came down with a serious case of Planter Facilities, nothing I did or read about helped, this made it easier for me to get out of bed in the morning and get my day started. The real cure was just losing weight, but this helped out a lot.

Small, But Effective - Lee J on Oct 1, 2011

I'm happy with the Foot Rubz ball - I keep it under my desk at work as I seem to spend a lot of time there. It is smaller than I expected, but still seems to do the trick. Certainly easier than I could massage / prod around my own feet.

Love This For My Feet & Sore Muscles - crazyoaks "f golden" on Sep 28, 2011

I am a distance walker who has tried just about everything for my feet, frozen bottles of water, tennis balls, electric massage, lotions, specific exercise, arch supports, even going to get a foot massage which is expensive, and this little ball is probably the best thing I have ever found for my feet.

If your feet are tired, you have plantar fasciitis, or I had what felt like a stone bruise toward the front of my feet and this has helped. The plastic is hard enough to massage, but not so hard to irritate. It is just the right size to get into the arch, unlike the tennis ball I tried to use. I can feel it stretching the arch, so I know that it would help with plantar fasciitis. I have spent money on doctors, shoe inserts and comfortable shoes, but I think I found a really low cost way to keep my feet in good shape. Important when there are 20 miles to walk in a day.

Great For Sore Feet - Matthew B. Alschuler on Sep 25, 2011

I'm a distance athlete, and I've been suffering from very stubborn Plantar Fasciitis for over a year. I've been using Foot Rubz at least twice a day since I got it a few weeks ago. It works great for targeting specific points on the bottom of the foot.

My sports medicine physician recommended that I use a golf ball, but they like to roll under the couch/table every 30 seconds, so I spent more time recovering the ball then massaging my feet. The Foot Rubz is slightly softer, but still does a great job loosening up a tightened plantar fascia and invigorating the bottom of the foot, without rolling too far away.

I always feel better after using the Foot Rubz ball, and recommend it to anyone who is suffering from the same condition.

Feels Nice - Becca on Sep 20, 2011

I just got this today so I obviously can't comment on durability, but it feels really nice on my feet. Downgraded it one star cuz the nubs could be a little softer- they're just a bit spiky but not enough to really bother me. I wear only sandals, flip-flops, or high heels so my arches aren't usually very happy with me ... they're a little less angry after the massage I gave them with this. Probably not good for anyone who has super ticklish feet but otherwise I would recommend it!

Worth The Money. Feels Good - aniceday on Aug 11, 2011

I bought two of these foot balls, i think they are great. The reason i bought two because i can use them on both foot. I am not sure about the claims that the spike are made in a certain way for Asian foot massage pressure point. The spikes seem to have no special formation. Anyhow, they are worth the money.

Simple And Works Great! - J. James "Jinny Lee" on Aug 10, 2011

I recently purchased this product for my mom for Christmas. She was looking for something to help with achy feet and most of the items I found were large, cumbersome and required and outlet or batteries. I wanted to purchase something for her that would give a massage while she didn't have to do any work - but all of the reviews on the other products weren't great. So, I tried the Foot Rubz and bought one for myself as well.

I keep mine at work and it's great for a easy foot massage at my desk. It's small, and it doesn't take a lot of effort to get a good result. My mom loves hers too. I started using it for aching legs or a sore back too. It's multi-purpose!

Relief At Last. - Sean on Jun 23, 2011

I run long distance and have recently been ramping up my mileage significantly. Unfortunately, sometimes the body doesn't keep up like we want it to.

The bottoms of my feet were becoming extremely beat up and sore. This little ball has worked wonders for breaking up the tough spots in my soles. It is really small (approx. 2" in diameter) and can easily and unobtrusively be carried with me to work.

Plantaar Faschitis .. Here Is Your Foot Massage - S. Bains "singh" on Jan 23, 2012

I have been suffering from plantaar faschitis, going to the gym five days a week, working hard, will cause it.
Even if you put in orthotics inserts, it got so painful that the first few steps in the morning to go the bathroom were unbearable.
No matter, how much stretching you do, enter foot rubz
I had tried using tennis balls, couldn't find golf balls but these foot rubz with those massage tentacles that stick out are great.
They fit comfortable under the natural curve of your foot, and you just roll back and forth.
Put some weight on it for a massage, do it for 5-10mins each day and it does wonders
I still recommend orthotics like Powerstep Pinnacle Orthotic for support throughout your day
These are great, nice color, so don't blend in with furniture, easy to find and massage great
Well worth it

Works Great Cause My Fingers Get Tired Fast - Reb on Jan 21, 2012

My husband likes his feet massaged so I just grab this while watching tv and it keeps my hands from getting tired. Just roll this around on his feet for awhile and he is good to go.

Foot Massage Ball - mommamorris on Jan 17, 2012

This cute little ball does a nice job of massaging the balls of your feet. I do recommend this little ball - it's worth the small price!

I'm Surprised At How Great A Small Ball With Spikes On It Can Feel - J. Henriksen on Jan 13, 2012

I stumbled upon this while shopping for something else. It seemed to have great reviews and I figured for the price I could take a chance on it. I just use it while at my computer desk. It feels amazing. The small golf ball size and hardness of the ball allow the weight of your leg to dig the sole of your foot into the spikes/nubs and get a good massage without much force or effort. Great for keeping your feet occupied and getting a great massage at the same time.

Provides Relief From Throbbing Foot Pain - OlyNomad on Jan 10, 2012

One of the best little gifts I've bought myself. My feet get super sore after long walks, being in shoes all day or during certain times of the month and this little ball gives relief. The best way I've found to use it is while sitting upright at the computer, because then you can really put some pressure on it. But it even feels good if you are just sitting and roll it around your foot. Nothing compares to how good a foot massage feels (at least when done by someone who knows how to give a good one), but this does provide relief from throbbing pain and relaxes the foot. I liked them so much I got them as stocking stuffers for everyone this year.

Thank You Foot Rubz - Joy E. Hutter on Jan 8, 2012

Nothing has really helped my PF. I purchased this ball as a last resort. The first day I had the ball I massaged the bottom of my foot, it felt amazing. My toes tingled and foot had an overall warmth. The next day when I used the ball again it felt bruised, very sore. I iced. Did the ball the next day - a bit lighter. I have repeated this process for a week now. I can see a drastic improvement in my foot. Worth the few bucks to try if you have PF.

Excellent Product! - A. Moore on Jan 3, 2012

My fiance has had pain in his big toe/foot since he had a surgery approx. 10 years ago in which docs reduced the size of a bone in his big toe. I bought this massage ball for him for Christmas this year hoping it would alleviate at least some of his pain, since the pain appears to be related to tension in the arch of his foot. My fiance has been using the massage ball daily for the past nine days and says that the pain in his foot is gone for the first time since his surgery. He used to be virtually unable to bend his toe, but he now appears to have full range of motion in his toe. To sum up, this product has vastly exceeded my expectations and is totally awesome.

Great Plantar Remedy - Machiavelli on Dec 30, 2011

Is little ball saved my life. I started getting plantar pretty bad and the wife picked this up for hannukah. Does a great job of giving me relief. It is amazing how hood it makes your feet feel. You just roll it to the pain and the pain goes away. I agree with the other poster that i. Sould have gotten 2.

Pretty Cool - CSwayze on Dec 29, 2011

Does the job, feels good on tired feet and very easy to operate. I should have ordered 2. Mostly I just love shopping at Amazon.com, they always deliver as promised, my new favorite place to shop.

Good Little Gadget!~....... - Donna's Reviews "I L on Dec 19, 2011

Good little gadget!~.......Foot Rubz Foot Massage Ball Also Great for Backs and Hands.....works well and makes a great stocking stuffer!~Inexpensive way to relax tightened knotted feet!~

A Better Version Of The Porcupine Ball - Courtney S. G. on Dec 12, 2011

I have sensitive (and ticklish) feet and I don't like people touching them. I've tried porcupine balls and they bug me... the nubs on FootRubz are blunt and don't feel uncomfortable! After being on my feet all day, this really helps relax them - without anyone touching my tootsies!

Worth Every Penny! - L. Johnson on Dec 12, 2011

I was not expecting immediate results, but my heel felt about 80% better after using one time. Couple hours of use in one night, while watching TV makes all the difference. Next morning woke up and didn't have that tell tale pain in my heel. Played tennis the next day with no pain. With such an impressive start, I trust my plantar fasciitis will be gone in short order. Or at least that's the plan.

Foot Rubz Works Great - Dave S. on Dec 2, 2011

The ball works great. The nubs are close together so it creates even pressure without being too "spikey" I bought this along with a wooden foot roller, but i prefer this. Even after a few treatments my Plantar Facia is feeling great. After only a few days of treatment my foot is starting to feel better. If you ahve Faciatis i woudl reccomend it. My only complanin is it seems that some fo teh nubs are already starting to show signed of wear/streatching in the rubber.

Good For Circulation - microhi on Dec 2, 2011

This massage ball is not too hard and not too soft. The plastic points are not too pointy. The amount of pressure can be adjusted by using gravity (more or less, to your advantage).

Hitting the desired spots on the feet takes some practice/coordination, but it's not that hard after a few tries.

I am on my feet all day at work and this little ball really helps relieve soreness and tightness.

Notice Some Improvement With Feet - stephanie on Nov 25, 2011

This is a pretty good product. I decided to purchase this because I have horrible plantar fasciitis. It hasn't made it go away, but the pain my feet once had is not as bad as it used to be. It is much more tolerable since I've been using this product.

Little Miracle Ball - outdoordad on Nov 20, 2011

For anyone who has tried using a golf ball to massage a foot, the Rubz takes it to a whole new level. This has been a lifesaver for me.

Awesome! - Hunted Bea on Jul 20, 2011

I just received this and I LOVE it. A typical day is 8 hours at work on concrete floors, one hour on a padded gym floor ( barefoot) and one hour on a concrete floor with carpeting ( barefoot). My feet have been killing me for a while and I was recently told that I have plantar Facetious (sp). A few minutes of running my feet across this little guy made them feel like new! Totally worth the price and it can be used on other parts and muscles for a decent quick massage!

Wish It Would Freeze Better - Snowpod "Snowpod" on Jun 18, 2011

I got this thinking that I might be able to put it in the freezer/fridge to keep it nice and cold to use for my Plantar fasciitis. It works great at room temperature; however it hardens up a big from the fridge. That said, I still use it and have taken it to work so that I can use it under my desk at work. A nice little product.
