So Happy We Tried This For My 7yr Old Son - Mary M. Munsell on Jun 9, 2010

My son, who is in 1st grade, has had a lot of trouble with school. He is not officially diagnosed with ADHD, but the checklists suggest it. To describe him, he has a ton of hyperactive and impulsive behaviors. He gets angry easily, especially during transition times. He reacts without any thought of consquences. He gets in really goofy moods, that are impossible to get him out of. He runs and jumps on furniture, always has to take physical risks, without fear of injury. I do not want to put my growing child on stimulants, so we are exhausting everything else first.

I have been a vitamin taker all my life. I have had him on b-complex, which I take for my nerves, but decided to give this a try. He has been taking it for a few weeks now and I just got a call from his school. Every time I see their number on my phone, I assume the worst. This however was a good report. He teacher said that he has been great for a whole week. He is making better choices and not acting up. Also that he demonstrates more self control.

You do not know how great this is! I was getting calls from the school about 2x a week, he was kicked out of an after school program and another parent suggested that she would call the authorities on me if my son ever touched her son again...so needless to say, it's been hard. Getting a good report really makes me happy.

I hope other parents who feel the same way about drugs, will read this review and give it a try!

Well Worth The Try!!! - B. Roberson on Dec 15, 2009

My grandson was really struggling in school. He is in the 5th grade. In the third grade was diagnosed with dyslexia. 4th and beginning of the 5th grade his teachers were saying he need meds for his concentration. His mom and dad did not feel he needed them. She then talked to a dr. and one of the medications that he could try had so many, many side effects. I found these on line and thought we would give them a try. They have worked wonders with him. We are continuing to give these to him on a daily basis. I am glad we decided to give them a try.

Vitamin That Works For Kids - P.O'd "whatever" on Sep 19, 2009

I was referred to this item when my son was having trouble focusing at school, our doctor recommended this to try first before any kind of testing was done and although not a be all end all cure has shown marked improvement in focusing. They are chewable tablets taken twice daily so you can get a months supply out of one bottle. My husband and I decided to try this to add to our normal vitamins that we give our son and it hasn't hurt any, definately worth it to try if you are also having a focusing problem with your own child.

It's Like Magic!! - Char on Mar 9, 2011

I had tried other products like Total Calm kid with my High Functioning Autistic 4 year old son. We were desperate to find anything that would help him with his behaviors, tantruming, screaming, crying, running, not sitting, not focusing in school. We had been kicked out of 2 nursery schools and nothing we tried had work. Then we decided to give Focus Factor a try. I wish I had know about this product before. We gave it to him almost a month a go and I can't believe my eyes. He's behavior has improved 100%!! He's more compliant, he's had only about 2-3 tantrums in 20 days, he's more focused. He will even sit to do 3-4 pages of homework or paint for an hour, yes an hour!! I am soo happy to have tried this product. I highly recommend it for parents who are trying to avoid putting their kid on meds.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Focus Factor.

Tastes Good, Helps Her Focus - Susie Khoury on Sep 2, 2011

My 8 year old refers to this as her "not crazy medicine." She has trouble with focusing, but is not a hyper child. Her reading ability has been improving faster since she started it about 6 months ago.

Foscus Factor Has Made A Big Difference - P. White on Apr 7, 2011

My son has improved so much since he started taking focus factor. Before he started his conduct daily was usually C's and he was having a hard time paying attention. Now he's getting straight A's in conduct and completing classwork and homework in a timely manner.

Haven't Seen A Difference In Behavior Yet But The Flavor Is Good... - Jessica on Jan 3, 2012

These little things smell like cotton candy to me and my very picky son (who typically refuses any vitamins that aren't sour gummies and hates chewable medicine) says they taste great and he has no issues chewing them right up. We have been giving them to him for less than a week but I wanted to start him before school went back from winter break. I will say that he had a cold upon starting these and it seems to have helped with the recovery process. My son is very smart but sometimes has trouble getting to the focus part of things (especially if it does not interest him like math vs legos)and he has trouble completing sentences without getting off base and cannot seem to stay still or quite for any length of time. If he is any kind of ADD, it's very slight and I just don't believe in medicating kids for being kids. I'm hoping this just helps get him on track. The wafers are small, like a chewable tylenol and the recommended dosage is 2 a day. We do one in the morning and one in the evening. I figure all it can do is help, vitamins are always good!

Really Works - Hall901 on Dec 31, 2011

i have to admit,I was skeptically but this product works. My nine years old is so much more focused on the task at hand. this has not changed her personallity which I was afraid of. She is still very creative and active but able to settle down easier without the drama.

The Difference Between Night And Day - Kasey Nichols on Aug 17, 2011

My son is a month away from being 5 and I know he is smart. He just has no desire to sit down and pay attention. I started looking into focus factor for myself but found this for kids. My son takes the 2 in the morning and all day long he is asking me questions (What is the sun made out of? How do airplanes fly? etc...) He asks if we can practice adding numbers and actually sits through a whole book and reads about half the words. Before FF for kids he would moan and groan during the book and wouldn't read the right words. I am so glad we found this product!

It Works! - Connie on Feb 5, 2011

I have two boys in school one in 3rd grade and the other is in 1st grade, it works for the 3rd grader, but it didn't work on the 1st grader. My son is more focus at school now, even the teachers verify to how focus he is now, and one of the good grade student in the class, he's beating everyone in multiplication when they have Quiz.I'm still working on the 1st grader, he's a little obese may be that the reason it didn't work on him.

It Really Works And Is Much Better Than Focus Formula - J. Pickering on Dec 12, 2011

Although not officially diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, my 5 year old son has trouble both focusing and sitting still in school. We started using Focus Factor and noticed an improvement. Later, we began using Brightspark by Native Remedies as well. Because of this, we switched from Focus Factor to Focus Formula, also by Native Remedies. All of the issues he had focusing came back although I didn't immediately attribute it to the switch. I was trying to give the new supplements time to 'kick in.'

After about 5 months or so, he was doing better with sitting still (thanks to the Brightspark) and I finally decided that if the Focus Formula was going to work, it would have by now. We switched back to Focus Factor and it is night and day! He has had glowing reports at school since the DAY we switched back.

I truly think that the combination of Brightspark and Focus Factor has made the difference!

As a side note, we are also doing as much organic foods as we can, cutting out artificial colors and flavors, etc.

Definitely Worth A Try - Melonie on Dec 8, 2011

My son is 7 and has struggled in school since day one. He lacks the ability to stay focused on schoolwork and easily gets caught up in daydreaming, playing with pencils, or talking when he should be working. Even at home, homework time could go on endlessly simply because I could not keep his mind on his work. He's been evaluated and tested and is pretty much borderline ADD. Typically I see him as a young immature boy who has a different learning style, but yet still needs to learn how to stay focused enough to complete his work. I read numerous positive reviews for this product and also a couple negative ones. After trying this product for 3 weeks, I'm adding a positive review for everyone to consider. Within a week of starting this product, I could already tell a difference with my son! His homework time in the past 3 weeks has not gone beyond 20-30 minutes because he actually stays focused and moves from one problem to the next without getting distracted. I did not tell his teacher that I was trying this product, but can tell you that his folder has not been signed even once since he started taking Focus Factor for Kids, and I have not seen any unfinished classwork come home either. I'm very happy with this product, have ordered more, will continue using it, and will pass this information along to anyone who has walked in my shoes, or who has considered prescription medications. Try this first! Oh, by the way, my son LOVES the taste and always eats this berry flavored wafer first before eating his meal.

Teacher-Approved - A. Orejel "Education on Nov 11, 2011

In the community that I teach, I have seen that some parents are intimidated and uncomfortable with using western medication for symptoms of attention deficit hyperactive disorder.

So, I approached a family who is very proactive and advocate for their children about a possible alternative to improve positive behavior and minimize distractions.

I purchased a bottle of Focus Factor for Kids and gave it to the parents. I suggested that they NOT tell me when they start giving the tablets to their child.

As a teacher, I noticed a change in the student's behavior both inside and outside the classroom. The child "stayed on the green" for an entire week. The child also accepted his time-outs "like a big boy." I approached the parent at the end of the week and that's when the success of these tablets was truly confirmed.

My Son Will Eat These, But That Is About It. . . . - J. Wells "Socknitste on Feb 25, 2010

Well, I'd like to be able to say that I've seen a difference in my child after a few weeks of taking this product, but I really haven't. Perhaps it is more subtle than I can perceive! But for now, I am just glad he will take it since we tried a similar product by another manufacturer that he said made him feel like he would throw up. I will update my review when the bottle is almost gone and I'm deciding whether to buy another. It is certainly affordable and worth a try. I would really like to see more vitamins and supplements to address specific issues in children the way that adults have. For example, why aren't there any bone health with trace mineral preparations for kids--a lot of kids are allergic to milk and need this desperately. Even kids who will drink milk probably need it desperately too, considering the state of modern agriculture and the depletion of nutrients in modern foods--and how many kids today even eat fruits and veggies! It is enough to make a parent's head spin with worry.

Love This Product - SweetMissMagnolia on Apr 6, 2011

love it-great taste--my child takes it without any complaints--this is only our first month trying it so I can't tell if it's having any effect on his "focusing" but we will see-have already ordered 2nd bottle.

Why Not Try This It Is Safe And Without Side Effects - beutyshopper on Jan 24, 2012

Focus Factor in combination with (Synaptol) has helped my son calm down. He has come down to a degree where he is manageable. He has been better in school. The best part for me is he is happier because he is able to behave better. He feels less frustrated than before. It makes him feel better about himself becaue it helps him interact better with other kids. I was desperate for a remedy before I found this product. One message for the parents please remember enhancing our behavior is a big part of handling a child with ADHD. I just recently found out my son has this condition. Now that I know why he was behaving the way he was my frustation in handling him has gone down drastically. I understand he has a problem and it is my job to help him grow out of this. I will keep reminding him to do the basic tasks he fails to do. Or has problem remembering. As long as I have to. Children with ADHD are very difficult to deal with. These are not miracle pills and I am willing to accept any kind of help I can find without harmful side effects for my child.

Seems To Help - mschu on Jan 9, 2012

My son has been taking these for over two months now and it does seem to help. Since taking them he has been able to stay on task more often than not, but its not a magical solution. Again, it has helped.

Seems To Work - wavybeach on Nov 27, 2011

We have been using this product for about 2 months. I can tell the difference. This really seems to help my son concentrate more. He likes the taste.

Focus Factor Seems To Work - Wendy on Oct 13, 2011

I have noticed a positive improvement in my 6 year old son's attention span and behavior after two full months on Focus Factor. I was pleased by his progress and ordered 3 more bottles. I recommend you give the product a try and see if it works for your child.

Amazing Product - Works Amazingly!! - Kati Mendez "Kati" on Oct 3, 2011

I don't use the word amazing for many things - but I have to for Focus Factor for Kids! My son, who is 7, was having trouble staying on track at school last year (1st grade). He would come home with warnings from his teachers and the only reason he was getting in trouble was because he couldn't focus enough on his tasks at hand and was too busy talking or playing or just not sitting and doing his work like he should have been. I'd also been told that he doesn't have the typical ADHD symptoms, but that he was just overactive and couldn't sit still. So I heard about these vitamin's on our local Christian radio station and had to try them. SO glad I did. In a matter of one week, the teacher and I both saw a definite change in my son! After a few months, we took him off of them because he kind of seemed to be leveling out and not needing it as much. But now, in 2nd grade, he's been having the same problems with not being able to focus on what he's supposed to be doing in class. So we had half a bottle left and started giving him two a day and he's back to getting no warnings at school and is able to get things done when he's supposed to. My Kroger stopped selling them for kids for some reason, so I'm not sure where I'll buy them but possibly Amazon will be my go-to place for these amazing vitamins!!

8 Year Old Improving - C. Fisher on Sep 28, 2011

I started Focus Factor for my 8 year old son who struggles in school. He's been diagnosed with ADHD and a learning disability. He has been taking this for 1 month (since the start of school) and he is having a really good year. It's hard to tell if it's the vitamins or a combination of a better teacher and more individualized help at school, but at the price it's worth continuing to try it. I have noticed while he still moves around doing homework, he is not agitated at having to do the work. He sits down and can actually focus without having to play with pencils and whatever else he can find around him. His test scores are all coming home with high grades and the two spelling tests he has had have been B+ and A-. I have bought more and will continue through the winter break to see how he's doing. I'll update the review once I have more information, but if your child is struggling don't wait. Try this product and see if it helps your situation. We did previously have him on attentive child for three months, but he didn't like the taste so it was a daily struggle to get him to take it. He takes the berry flavored focus factor no problem. He's also taking Nordic Naturals omega 3 tangerine gummies with this one and he loves those. I think the combination is working well.

Son HATES The Taste - K. Johnson on Sep 7, 2011

I am not so sure about great tasting, I had to fight with my son to take these, and didn't see a change in him at all. So we're not going to be bothering with this attempt, we'll just go ahead and try something else!
