My son has a G-tube and we have to crush multiple pills a day. I bought this pill crusher and we used it every day, at least twice a day, for five years before it broke. We bought another one. We had tried other crushers but they didn't work as good as this one.

Got it yesterday. Spent an hour last nite just crushing up vitamins I havent taken in forever. Im only 29 but I have the worst gag reflex ever and taking that horse pill multi vitamin and my pill for my MS just drives me crazy. This little contraption just crushes it up REALLY fine. I was able to pour the crushed pill right in my mouth, have a sip of water, and down the hatch. I can tell I'll need to buy another 1 after a while cause I felt like I was gonna break it. The splitter works well too but the crusher is my new lover!!

"came way early, works pretty good, havent had any problems. make sure u cut the pill in halves as many times as u can if u want it to last long, itll be easier for crushing. i alwso found a hidden compartment which was kinda cool. lol def a good buy."

Nice Crusher - a consumer on Oct 21, 2011 I Like

My mom is having issues swallowing larger pills. One of her pills did not crush well in a conventional flat-surfaced crusher. It remained in flat chunks that clung together, possibly from a higher moisture content.

This crusher has little plastic teeth that pulverize much better. I hesitated to buy it because I was afraid the pill would remain stuck in the teeth but it doesn't do so much - a few taps and the powder comes out into the bowl, all set to be mixed with the strawberry yogurt it is then eaten in. We rinse the crusher out and allow it to air dry, ready to be used again.

We've used this on two big pills daily for two months, and the crusher is still holding up.
