This is the best vitamin container I have ever used. It is as advertized, air tight, and water tight. Your pills will stay just as fresh as if they were still in the bottle.
The sections are plenty deep for multiple dose days.
The cover has a seal to keep pills fresh.
Iv'e had mine for over two years, and is still going strong...

Disappointingly Huge With A Fatal Flaw - Traveling Attorney " on Feb 8, 2011

The container is well constructed and the seal formed when closed is nice, but it takes a bit of work to get it undone, and pills kept sloshing from one compartment to the next when the lid finally popped off. If you get used to opening it that may not happen, but it's a big problem if you don't pay attention each time. To be clear in response to comments, what I mean is that the container is tough to open, it's not like raising a lid. You have to unsnap a latch and then pry up the lid, and the force required to do so can jostle the container. With the lid in the process of being open, there is nothing to stop pills from shifting from one compartment to another when the container is jostled. Depending on the particular medications at issue, this could literally be a fatal flaw.

I was looking for a travel container for medicine when I travel for work, and thought that this would be a winner. However, it is absolutely enormous! I converted it to use for a fishing tackle box when I received it. The compartments are giant, almost enough to hold a full pill bottle. The best use of this item would be as a medicine cabinet replacement; it is that big. I can't stress enough, if you ever want to take this anywhere, DO NOT get it. This should have screw holes so you can mount it on a cabinet. That would help with the potentially more troublesome issue of pill movement as well by preventing the box from moving; simply holding it down isn't enough.

Conclusion: if you need a heavy duty, non-portable medication container, look no further. If you want something to travel with or to store pills that you don't want mixing together, then look elsewhere.

LOVED usuing this on a trip to place husband's and my pills for a month of travel. Counted out what we'd need daily and placed in the containers. I made a "key for which pills were which pills" out of lightweight white heavy paper to replicate all the boxes and made a grid on the paper like a checkerboard and laid it on top of the pills (inside the pill box) so it was very easy to see which pills were in which little box; I recommend the manufacturer might provide this. The pills did NOT scramble together at all despite being opened many many times over 30 days and being repacked for travel to 6 cities.

1. The construction is solid, the compartments are very large, and the clasps work well. However, upon further research into the preservation of vitamins and medications, I've learned that light does as much damage to pills as exposure to air. Thus, a "Vita-fresh" container should ideally be opaque so that light does not enter the pill case. You have to open the lid to the entire container at once, so you'll always be able to see every pill, which means that having the case be clear isn't necessary. If the case were opaque, it would be perfect.

2. I do not recommend buying from The Insulin Case Shop.

I take a lot of different vitamins, and it is difficult when traveling to find a container that fits all of them. I just received this container, and it is absolutely perfect. It fits all of my vitamins easily and is organized into 12 compartments. The slots are curved at the bottoms so your fingers can easily get the pills out. It is rather large...it reminds me of a pencil box from when I was in grade school, but it definitely serves its purpose and I am very satisfied!

My biggest concern for a travel pill dispenser was it being able to hold a full days worth of pills in one compartment, this one does.

I was able to put ~30 Men's Centrum Silver into one compartment. I was able to put over 20 1500/300mg Glucosamine/Chondroitin into one compartment.

I read some other reviews complaining about the size and difficulty opening. I didn't experience any difficulties opening the container. It's a bit large, but not too large. Comparing this to my hand, it's ~0.5" shorter, ~1" wider and ~.25" thicker than my hand. I'm 6'4", this is with my fingers together and extended, measuring largest dimensions.

I got the box 2 days after I purchased it (Amazon Prime!). Really great service.

The product definitely does seal as promised, and is air-tight, as promised. There are two sections in the top row of compartments where you can take the dividers for the compartments out to store more pills. It's really awesome and can carry all of my vitamins, fish oil supplements, etc.

Container snaps tight and holds pills as advertised. Definitely good for travel. I keep this full of commonly used medicines (asprin, tylenol pm, allergy, sudafed, motion sickness, nyquil, dayquil, etc.) and store it in my car. I'm never without medicine.

This medication container is much bigger than the average one that you can find in your local pharmacy. It has the ability to hold a lot of pills in each compartment. It also stacks nicely as I use one for AM and one for PM. In addition, it has 12 compartments which allows us to go away for a weeks vacation and not feel rushed to organize pills immediately upon returning from our trip.
