I bought this pill organizer so my husband would actually take his natural vitamins and supplements every day, especially when he is on the road. We had it for almost 2 years and it's still in perfect condition. The space in each "day" is enough for the 3 large, 5 small, and 4 medium pills he takes each day and it's durable enough to take in his traveling bag 4-5 times each week. The containers stay closed, too, something other containers don't do.

I have only had this particular model for a year, but I have had a smaller model for a number of years that has done the job very well. I grew out of the smaller one when I started taking fish oil supplements which come in huge capsules. I tried a non-locking brand which did not work very well when I dropped it on the floor. It's amazing how far pills and capsules scatter when dropped. The locking mechanism works very well on these. I can drop them on the floor. I can travel without worrying about them opening up. There was one bad thing about my purchase, I bought two of them and one of them would not lock. I fixed that by swapping the locking bars between the two and they both worked perfectly after that. I thought about removing a star because of that, but the product works so well that I couldn't bring myself to give it only four stars.

The product seem to be well made and it is easier to fill than the two-week versions I bought. The plastic hinge life is still an open question; only time will tell. It is July'08 when it breaks I'll try to revise this entry.
