I previously had just the Nayoya acupressure mat but I gave that to my sister to use and decided to try out Nayoya's full set which includes the acupressure mat and acupressure neck pillow for neck pain. I dont have neck pain per-say, more like a stiff neck most of the time. I position my body and neck on the mat and neck pillow and just close my eyes and try to relax. After 10 minutes I am so relaxed and pain free that I almost want to sleep on the set the whole night. The neck pillow is very well crafted and contours to the shape of the neck perfectly. I love it!!!

I used to practice yoga a few years ago and this is even better. The full set by Nayoya puts an end to stress and neck cramps as well as getting rid of minor aches and pains in my back. I used to have poor sleep and wake up with a very stiff neck that would make it hard to get out of bed. This coupled with minor aches in my mid and lower back made office work difficult because of the constant sitting for 8 hours. After trying to back pain relief mat and the neck pillow for back pain relief I no longer wake up with a stiff neck. It feels like a deep tissue massage almost the way it relaxes every part of your neck and back. Feels incredible. I get so relaxed before bed that I catch myself almost falling asleep on the mat and pillow. Definitely a 5 star product

You are buying a padded mat with a lot of sharp (though not sharp enough to puncture) plastic points. It's going to hurt the first time you use it, or at least be a little uncomfortable if you're not accustomed to laying on spikes. Having said that, you have to give it time. You should know what you're spending money on and at least attempt to stick it out. I'm impatient and I tried to lie on it with bare skin right out of the package. That wasn't going to work, so I put a very thin shirt on and used it for at least 15 minutes for the past 4 nights. It really wasn't doing anything for me except building up my tolerance for the feel of the spikes.

Well, I just got done using it with my bare skin and I'm telling you that you absolutely have to get to this point to feel the full benefits. When you go with your bare skin it will feel like it's burning for about 45 seconds (might seem like longer, but push through) and then the heat that this mat creates from the amount of blood flow it causes is better than any hot/cold salve or heating pad. I enjoyed the heat for about 25 minutes and had to get up to get some things done. Getting up hurt a little because it's a change of sensation, but there is no pain once you're up and moving. Pain is pretty much eliminated actually, and my back is still warm 15 minutes later. It took going for it and dealing with the initial feeling of "pain" to lay on this with bare skin, but the results prompted me to write this review. I don't foresee a single night where I won't be using this mat.

I was skeptical only because of the low price of the Complete Acupuncture Mat | Acupressure Back and Neck Pain Relief Set but OH YEA it is superb! And I need something superb to help me. As a background, this is both a full-size neck pillow as well as a body mat. The mat is an acupressure/acupuncture mat that just extends the benefits the pillow alone would give you to the rest of your torso.

I suffer from tremendous neck cramping and back soreness, both from my job (I deliver packages) as well as through a sports injury I sustained in high school. I find that as my soreness and pain get worse as the day drags on, the worse my stress also becomes. My job performance goes down (speed is key to getting raises in my business). And the more of that, the more my sleep levels decrease because of worry or just plain being tired and sore. From the very first day I received the Complete Acupuncture Mat set I began to realize I could actually do something after work to reduce my problems AND to recover faster. My sleeping at night is better and I wake with less discomfort. That gives me a huge head-start over what I used to go through so often.

I don't know why this set is so low-priced. It is made from quality materials and does exactly what it promises to do. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this set if you have ANY problems in your neck and/or back area. You will feel IMMEDIATE relief if you give it a try.

I have been using the acupressure mat by Nayoya and love the positive effect is has been having on me in terms of decreasing stress levels after a long day of sitting in an office chair as well as the lower back pain relief. I decided to try the full set to relieve a stiff neck and so far so good. The full set makes the experience 10x better because it gives your body a full back and neck pain relief. Every time i use the full set for 30+ minutes I feel as if I got a full body massage. I have also noticed an improvement in the quality of my sleep as well as being able to fall asleep faster as opposed to tossing and turning for an hour and a half before falling asleep. This set makes daily life that much better.

I don't have back pain, but am seeing a chiropratic doctor for symptom-less issues he found on an x-ray. He told me that I had tight muscles on my shoulders. So I got this thing to be pro-acive, even though I had no idea of what my shoulder muscles should feel like.

1st Impression: These little spikey things are going to hurt. I went to the makers website and read as much as I could. Since I am overweight, I wanted to make sure I'd be okay. First time, I used it with a camisole, just in case. At first it was like, WTF, and it takes a few mintues to learn to position yourself right cause there is no moving around to much. So okay, it didn't hurt-hurt, just really feel the spikes. Then that goes away, about 1-2 min and I felt nothing, kinda comfortable, not bad. Then, the warmth slowly builds up and it starts to feel nice. I learned from my chiro that that is the blood rushing to your muscles, and that that is a good thing. I just know it really starts to feel good, like I;m laying there planing on how to use it everyday, twice a day. Now the neck pillow part, I didn't really get used to. I prefered to drap it over this little tempur pillow I have so that my butt is not on the mat. Too much pressure when sitting down and as a pivital point of movement

2nd-3rd Impression: Never parting with this mat. I tried the stomach position, but it does not have the same warmth yet, but I did not have time to do it for as long as I would have liked. I read that it is good for digestion and metabolism, so I will try again. I tried standing on it, not bad, but the spikes hurt my baby toes and around the sides, hard to stand still. If I sit is fine but I am sure it is not the same. Not going to use the pillow, in fact I am using the pillow as a lumbar support as I type this, it feels great and works well that way.

First of all let me say I'm really happy I was able to grab one of these before they became unavailable.

I just received it today and it's very well made, the spikes are sturdy and can take a heavy weight without buckling (something I was worried about). The mat itself is padded and the pillow completes the set perfectly.

I am phobic of needles so acupuncture is out of the question for me so this was the next best thing. On taking it out of the box I was worried it would be painful as the spikes are quite sharp! But it wasn't and after my first session on it I felt strangely energised. I tried it without a shirt but it was too extreme so I did as the instructions recommended for first time users and used it with a very sheer silk shirt.

I don't know if this feeling of almost euphoria is my mind playing tricks on me or not and that's why I'll be back with an update when I've tried it some more.

I have cervical neck problems and my husband has lower back pain, let's see if this helps us! But so far so good.

PS: Seller upgraded my shipping which was really nice of them.

PPS: The spikes are sharp so make sure you don't leave the mat around if you have children or pets!

I have been using the Nayoya mat for over a year and not too long ago upgraded to the full set which improves the benefits of the mat. I'm not certain what I actually expected this mat to do for me, other than that stimulating acupuncture points in general tends to be a healthy thing. What I quickly found was that by spending 15 to 30 minutes laying on this at night it somehow makes me fall asleep much quicker, even on those nights when I'm not feeling particularly sleepy.

At first I thought it was all in my head. Then I tried an experiment. I hit a night when I hadn't used the mat and I lay in bed, tossing and turning, unable to get to sleep. Out to the living room I tromped, and I laid down on this mat for about 15 minutes. Then I went back to bed and promptly fell straight to sleep. Thinking this may have been coincidence, I repeated the experiment the next time I found I was unable to get to sleep. The result was the same.

Whatever else this mat does, for me at least, it stimulates my body's natural ability to fall asleep very quickly.

One word of advice. If you have cats like I do, never leave the mat laying on the floor where the cats can walk on it. There is something irresistible to a cat about walking on a rug or mat of any kind that they find newly discovered on the floor. One of mine couldn't resist the temptation. All those pokey little flower petals pricked her toes and it took weeks before she would stop running and hiding every time I took the mat out to lay on.

This was my 3rd acupressure mat. I had 2 prior ones from different companies but those fell apart after about 2 weeks of use. I got a Nayoya acupressure mat as a birthday gift from my aunt who knew I was suffering from back pain. She has a Nayoya mat herself and uses it daily so she thought it would be a great idea to give me one. It was definitely a great idea! It's now been 5 weeks of using the mat and it's still in the same shape it was when I got it! Great quality.As for the benefits of using the mat, my sleep has gotten much sounder and I wake up less groggy and tired. As for my headaches, they go away after a few minutes of me standing on the mat barefoot. I guess it's true what they say that there are points on the foot that correlate with different bodyparts.
My back pain has also been greatly relieved. It was one of the reasons I would toss and turn during the night and I have poor sleep but now it doesnt bother me like it used to. Soon I will have to get the full Nayoya set. Highly recommended.

I go to the gym daily, and I get pretty sore after a rough session. This mat helps a lot if used right after getting out of the shower. It allows me to loosen up and prevent those knots from forming before they start. The only thing I would change about it is if the head cushion and mat were attachable. It doesn't slip bad like a regular pillow does, but it takes some getting used to. That being said, this is a great product. The spikes are much more effective than some of the other mats I tried. I also don't feel hot like I did on other mats with shorter spikes. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap solution to minor back and neck pain.

This mat is great to relax back and neck muscles. I like it even better than I expected. I use it for 10-15 minutes at night and helps my muscles relax and helps me sleep better. It's greatly improved the time it takes for me to fall asleep. I use the mat and the neck roll at the same time, usually on top of the bed while watching tv at night. It might be a little better on the floor, but it works fine on the bed. I've found if I lay flat (rather than propped up), it works better. It does sting a little at first, but within minutes, you feel the warmth in your muscles and feel them begin to relax. I highly recommend it!

I was very excited as a lot of my pain comes around my neck and shoulder area. I had been rolling my mat up to get those spots. Now I can lie down and hit all the spots I need at one time! My neck no longer hurts and I don't have to keep the heating pad handy at night. Highly recommend for people with neck and back pain.

I used this product throughout my pregnancy to alleviate back and neck pain. It is a lifesaver. It seems to magically erase the pain after just 15-20 minutes! I feel rejuvenated and can RE-start my day even after the worst back-ache. I also walk across the matt to stimulate my skin and increase circulation in my otherwise swollen feet. I use the neck pillow at nights right before bedtime and it really helps me get the best sleep.
