Only not-so-positive comment: the flavor tube is very small compare to the rise bottle. I don't know if it is enough to "boost" up the entire bottle. But like I said, I don't use it so I wouldn't know...

Using this rinse before brushing helps strengthen teeth to better withstand the scrubbing caused by your toothbrush.
It can also be used after brushing to help keep your mouth alkaline, thereby discouraging bacteria from multiplying.
This product is becoming difficult for me to find in stores so buying in bulk made sense for us.
Then I discovered Closys. The first time I usd it the pain got worse but only for about 15 minutes. Then the pain went away. The pain came back so I used more of the product with the same results, except the pain increase was not as bad and went away more quickly. I used it two more times the first day.
The bleeding stopped after the first use. It took about 3 hours for the swelling to diminish and return to normal overnight. Closys could not have worked better. It seems almost magical compared to the other stuff I tried. It will be a regular part of my routine from now on. I also ordered the toothpaste and a sonic toothbrush.
I also noticed the rinse seems to clean my teeth - I feel like I've brushed my teeth after using it.
I tried it first without the flavor additve and it didn't have any taste. Then I added a total of 12 drops of the flavor to the bottle and I like the taste it leaves in my mouth. I don't understand the person who didn't like the taste. Who doesn't like mint?
Not to mention, I could be wrong because I haven't paid much attention, but I think it has whitened my teeth a little bit.
It tastes good without the mint once you get used to it, but the mint is good too if you're a mintaholic. Be careful though: the mint oil is very strong! Follow the directions :) I highly recommend this product, especially in combination with the toothpaste. Using both together dramatically changed my mouth in a few short weeks.
They've made both my, and my roommate's, breath better.
I've tried other brands in the past such as Act, Colgate, and Crest and all they did was burn my mouth, and the breath would return to normal within an hour.
Closys seems to "neutralize" plaque in your mouth. It really works!!!

I have Amazon deliver 2 bottles every two months and it is much cheaper than purchasing it at my dentist's office or at one of the few drugstores that seem to carry it.
I am not yet convinced that the high price of this product is worth it. I have been using it for about two months and will see if the long term benefits of using Closys will justify the price. I also use the Closys toothpaste. As an added surprise, my last several bottles of oral rinse came with small tubes of Closys toothpaste.
It also stated some whitening if you rinse over 2 min.. I have yet to notice this at all.
This is a great match with the toothpaste(that does not foam! YEA). We will see how the next check up goes.
It comes with a vile of natural mint extract that can be added to the bottle in an amount to suit your taste (literally) and is a wonderful option. Closys is also a great ally in the battle against gum disease.
Here's the best reason I found to order this product through Amazon. I paid $18.00 at my dentist for ONE 32 oz. bottle -- needless to say I was delighted to find it on Amazon for half that price.
I use the automated order system and now I get regularly scheduled deliveries - no shipping fee -- and I am NEVER without a fresh supply of Closys.
