Editorial Reviews
Every woman's cycle is unique and most people don’t realize that there are only a few days in a woman’s cycle when intercourse can result in conception – and only 2 days when it is most likely: the day prior to and the day of ovulation. That’s why women turn to ovulation tests for help maximizing their chances for conception. The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test is an easy-to-use home ovulation test, and is over 99% accurate at detecting the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge. The optical reader interprets your result and gives you a clear smiley face in the result window when the LH surge has been detected, identifying your 2 best days to try for a baby. For women whose cycles vary from month to month, it can be especially challenging to accurately detect the timing of the two most likely days to get pregnant. This 20 count test kit will give you the highest chance of detecting your most fertile days whenever they occur.

So Far, So Good - SMC "SMC" on Jul 5, 2010

My husband and I just went thru our first round of IUI (finger's crossed) and was instructed by the nurse to start using the ovulation kit (of our choice) on day 10. After reading all the reviews, this seemed to be the easiest to use, and had the best feedback, so we went with these. On Day 10 - cirlce. Day 11- smiley face. We called the nurse and the next day they did an ultra-sound showing that I was in fact ready (ie. the test was accurate) and they went ahead with IUI. We're trying to stay very optimistic that one round is all we'll need (so think good thoughts) but if not, I have total confidence in using these for the following cycles.

Great Value And Results - A. Jackson on Feb 18, 2010

I love the smiley faces on these - no more comparing line darkness! I also like that these are the best deal I can find anywhere - you get 20 sticks, and they are individually wrapped so you don't have to use all of them in one month like some tests require. I would definitely recommend these!

GREAT PRODUCT - Marie C. on Sep 6, 2010

I have been TTCing for over a year now without success, expended time and money in IC's and never got a positive (I have long, irregular cycles after the contraceptive injection). I decided to invested in this product, the first month on CD33 and CD34 I got the smiley face, 10 days later I am pregnant with my first baby.

It definitely worth the price.

This Product Works Great! - D. Simpson on Mar 3, 2010

Like many women, I had trouble interpreting the two-line system on the standard dipstick OPK's. A friend suggested that I try the smiley face digital sticks, and I'm glad I did! It's very clear to see when you've had your LH surge, because the smiley face is unmistakable. I also use the ClearBlue Easy ovulation monitor, because it measures both the LH level and the estrogen level. It gives you 3 levels of fertility (low, high, and peak), so it provides a lot more information than just the LH measurement. I use the ovulation monitor in the morning and the smiley face sticks in the late afternoon, and oftentimes the afternoon test is the one that turns positive first. This two-test technique has definitely helped me pinpoint my LH surges and plan my BD sessions accordingly!

Worked Great - Alibali on Oct 1, 2010

What sold me on this product was that I didn't have to figure out if a line was darker or lighter. It was a very obvious happy face or circle. After trying for many months, I didn't want to analyze or overthink anything. I bought a box and started using them on the proper day. They are super easy to use and to read. On the 5th day of usage, I got a smiley face. Now, a few weeks later, I'm pregnant.

They worked for me!

So Far, So Good! - Elizabeth on Dec 17, 2010

We conceived our first child when we weren't trying, but this time it's taking a bit longer, so I decided to try these ovulation tests. I used these tests for the first time this cycle and they worked great. I got a positive 2 days in a row, and then my basal temp went up 2 days later--so it looks like they were very accurate. I had more "warning" that ovulation was going to occur soon with these tests than I have in past cycles with charting alone (using the method from Taking Charge of Your Fertility). I would definitely recommend these tests (in conjunction with charting), especially if you're like me and have irregular cycles.

One thing to note when using these tests: the package insert says you should ideally use your first morning urine, and that you should only test if you haven't urinated for the last 4 hours. I have read elsewhere that the LH surge occurs in the morning, so if you test first thing, you might miss it. I had also read that some women's LH surge is less than 24 hours, so again, if you only tested each morning, you would miss it. Accordingly, I decided to test twice a day. One morning I tested negative, and then I tested again around 3 PM--positive. (And I had peed within 4 hrs of that test). The next morning and evening, I was still positive. Testing twice a day meant that I had a longer period of time during which I knew I was about to ovulate, but hadn't yet.

So use these tests, but test twice a day! Good luck!

Prayer + Clear Blue= Our Little Angel! - nataliep on Dec 19, 2011

My husband and I were on our third month of trying to conceive. I was going by an ovulation calendar, fertility friend.com, and OPK test strips. My cycles are longer, usually 33 days so I ovulate later. All of my ovulation symptoms aligned with the calendar/chart (I THOUGHT), for example my ovulation cramps started during that time, I had EWCM during those days, and my test line on the OPKs was usually bold. I was beginning to get concerned because I just KNEW we were making love on the correct days.

Going into our third month of trying I decided to quit playing the guessing game with those lines, they were driving me CRAZY! I broke down and paid extra for the digital Clear Blue Easy Ovulation tests. To my surprise, I was not ovulating until day 21/22! We were WAY off on our timing! Well, I am 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant my first month of using Clear Blue Easy Digital Ovulation! We could not believe it. There was also A LOT of praying going on so I have to give ALL the credit to my Savior. To sum it up, LOTS OF PRAYER and Clear Blue Easy was the answer for us!

GOD BLESS and always remember, HIS timing is PERFECT! :)

Don't Throw Your Tester Away When Your Test Sticks Are Gone - Nimaro24 on Sep 7, 2011

This is a GREAT product. It has been really helpful in determining when I ovulate - and who doesn't love the smiley face?!?!? Just a little bit about me, I have been TTC for over a year and just recentally started testing twice per day to catch my surge right from the beginning. I use my CBE fertility monitor in the morning and the CBE digital kit in the afternoon. TTC can get expensive when you test multiple times per day - but of course in the end it is all worth it. I didn't realize it but I ran out of my digital ovulation test sticks so I wondered what would happen if I used my fertility monitor sticks in the digital tester and guess what...IT WORKS!!!! Right here on Amazon you can get a pack of 30 fertility monitor test sticks for less than buying a brand new digital kit. I wanted to pass this along to others in the same boat. Good luck and baby dust to all! :)

Test At Other Times During The Day If You Are Not Getting Positives. - Jennifer Taylor on Jan 21, 2011

I kept getting no results going about the morning or noon instructions until one month I decided to test 3 times during the day. In the morning, around noon, and after I got off work around 6. The first month I tried this, I got a positive at the 6pm time. The next month, the positive was around 6pm again.

NOT AS RELIABLE AS IT CLAIMS - Shareen Joshi on Feb 20, 2011

I have tried this and can definitely tell you that it DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK ACCURATELY. It NEVER gave me a positive result after many tries. Once I suspected it was unreliable, I tried additional testing methods. I got my proof one morning when I ran two tests simultaneously of ClearBlue and an unbranded non-digital test (the one with the two lines). Clearblue one gave me a negative result, the other one gave me a positive result. I later confirmed that the unbranded non-digital was indeed correct. Clearblue was not. My suggestion: don't rely on this product alone. I've seen it fail.

Clear Blue Easy Keeps Its Promises! - birdie099 on Feb 25, 2011

I decided to start using ovulation kits last month after going off the pill. After hearing the line tests can be confusing, I found these and couldn't be happier! The Amazon price is much better than anywhere else and the 20pk gave me enough sticks to test for my entire cycle. My cycles have been longer off the pill and I would have missed the LH surge with the 7pk b/c this month I didn't get a smiley face until day 23. I was so thankful to have so many sticks so we could have a shot at getting pregnant this month (still waiting to find out).

A few helpful things to note:

-I never bothered with the line tests b/c I heard of so many people trying to figure out which line was darker, if it was darker than the day before, etc. These simplify all of that. If you get a smiley, go do the deed. It's that simple!

-You'll hear that afternoon is the best time to test, but the CBE packaging says first thing in the morning is fine. Trust them! Don't waste sticks testing twice a day like I did. I got smileys in the morning two days in a row so these tests are definitely sensitive enough to detect any amount of surge in your system.

-I read a review that said once you get a smiley, the digital reader won't work again and you have to throw it out. That's wrong. Like I said, I got smileys two days in a row. The reader just has to reset itself after each stick which takes about 10 minutes I think.

-I also read about people getting excessive errors and complaining that the reader wouldn't work at all. I've used two packs of these and never got an error on either of the readers. They're really easy to use... just line up the arrows in the stick and the reader and push til it clicks and the reader will show it's ready. Then pee on it for 5-7 sec, put the cap back on the stick and lay it flat. The reader will flash and then you'll get either an empty circle or a smiley within a few minutes.

Like I said, I couldn't be happier with these. If you're not sure when you ovulate and want to pinpoint it to help your chances of conceiving, you need these. Good price, no guessing and no need to wait until afternoon to test. Good luck!

Worked Like A Charm For Us! - Sarah Levinson Evans on Jan 8, 2012

We bought these ovulation tests after trying for two months to conceive. I had been trying to tell when I was ovulating based on the signs in the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and it was not working for me. I was pretty sure our timing was off and we were not "trying" at the right time of the month.

We used the Clear Blue Easy ovulation test for one month. I got the smiley face and we proceeded accordingly. That month, we conceived our son. So for us, the tests could not have worked better.

LOVE THESE! - Ashlee on Jul 9, 2010

I just starting using these 2 months ago, and they are by far the simplest to read. They can get pricey though, so I still buy the super cheap dip strips, and when they start to seem to get dark, I start using these ones....The dip strips are too hard to read, but the smiley faces are the best! Baby Dust to all of you!!!

Yay Smiley Face!! - Private Buyer on May 18, 2010

I balked when my RE told me to use these instead of the cheap test strips. They're of course quite a bit more expensive than the bulk test strips you can buy on here. Last month we thought I missed my O because of the Follicle Scan on CD 11, but I continued to test with the CBE's. I got my first smiley face on CD 19! I was ecstatic and it was hilarious as I showed my hubby! I decided to continue testing since I signed up for the subscription purchasing for the discount and knew this was just a testing cycle. I had smiley faces for 2 more days-thinking it was reading wrong, I continued testing and it did go back to the plain circle on the 4th day. My RE's Nurse said it's not uncommon to get a smiley face for a few days, but to count the first day as the initial surge. I actually just ordered the cheapy strips too so I can see how accurately I'm reading those when I get my smiley face this cycle. I had a difficult time interpreting positives because I ramp up and down from my surge so strongly, that it was looking positive for 2 or 3 days, not knowing if the one was actually darker the day before etc...
If you have any doubt with the cheapie strips, try these, if nothing else, you'll be smiling when you get that smiley face! I should also note that I have PCOS and tests that measure LH surge don't always work for women with PCOS because often times their LH levels are elevated many days out of the month, giving false positives.
Baby Dust to those using these while TTC!

It Really Works!!!!! - lranthony on Jan 4, 2012

Me and my husband began our journey in August after I took my last pack of birth control pills in July. For the first few months I relied on the ovulation calendars to predict my ovulation dates. After months of failure I decided to buy these test after reading all of the reviews ( and I do mean all). November was the first month using the test and I found out I ovulated later than the online ovulation calendars. On December 16 I got a smiley face and did the BD. Being me I tested again on December 17 and also got a smiley face. AF was scheduled to come on November 29 and never showed up. On New Years Eve I tested positive on a walmart equate test. I was so excited I went to walmart and got the clear blue easy digital test and tested positive again. We have our first appoointment and ultrasound on Feb 6. If it wasn't for these tests I would never have know that I ovulated later and to continue BD'ing. Baby dust to all of you who are still on your journey, your day is coming soon!!!:).

Worked After The FIRST TRY!!! AMAZING! - J on Oct 27, 2011

I just have to say, I'm very critical of all these "so called" tests, but I'll just say this, I purchased 1 box and got pregnant the first try!!
I have been married for five years, together for ten years. I've never been on the "pill" or never use any other form of birth control... I am 34 years old too, I truly thought something was wrong with me... I was afraid to go to the DR. For fear he would say something was wrong, so I decided to get this test for ovulation and "entertain" the idea... I was really thinking there would be another 6 months of trying before the big scary DR office... But let me say this....THE FIRST TIME THERE WAS A SMILE ON THE STICK, WE DID THE DEED, AND I WAS INSTANTLY PREGNANT! I swear by these, I have had a miscarriage since my baby was born, so today I'll be getting another box, I'm so confident these work, I feel like I owe my first born child to these tests! I will happily write another review as soon as I am pregnant again! I had so many fears of what could be wrong with me, and that's all they ended up being is- just fears-
Now I'm enjoying every second with my precious daughter, and I'm sure coming soon..another bundle of love! Good luck to everyone trying, I hope all the best, and this TEST IS A FABOLOUS FIRST STEP!

Works! - Tigger0206 on Aug 7, 2011

At the suggestion of my doctor, I picked up an ovulation kit. For the amount of money and amount of tests, I Thoight this was a good deal, plus it was a digital reader, so no confusion. I would suggest testing twice a day, as I got my positive test at night but not that morning. I also chart, so for me it was easier to see when I was supposed to ovulate, so about that's when I started testing twice instead of once a day. Once I got my positive, we BD 3 nights in a row until I saw my temperature shift. Two weeks later I got my BFP! I am now 5 weeks along.

Best Price! - JenB99 on Mar 1, 2011

This was my second month TTC. I have longer cycles and was never quite sure when I ovulated, so I've been using ovulation predictors to detect my LH surge these past two months. Last month I relied on strips alone, but this month I wanted to confirm with digital. I went ahead and used the cheap strips at the beginning of the predicted ovulation week, and then I switched to digital when I got my darkest result on the strips. Sure enough, a smiley. I got three smiles in a row, clear as day. 10 days later, I tested positive on a home pregnancy test. I can't recommend these enough!

Love That Smiley Face - cks on Sep 7, 2010

After missing ovulation with the cheap strips last month (probably user error- it's hard to tell if the line is darker,) I decided to purchase these. I continued to use the cheap strips this month (they are SO MUCH CHEAPER) and when it was hard to tell if the line was darker today, a positive was confirmed by a smiley face. LOVE IT!!! I still have plenty of tests for next month, but hopefully I won't need them.

OMG, It's Awesome! - Erica Chung "schoolb on Aug 15, 2010

My husband and I have tried to conceive for a long time. We've tried cheaper brands of ovulation tests, we tried measuring temperatures, and we've had 5 cycles of IUI. Nothing works. A friend of mine recommended ClearBlue for us because it worked for her. This is only the first month I tried it and I just found out that I am pregnant! After years trying. The smiley faces are so clear, which I love. Good luck, everyone!

Don't Buy! - Flora on Dec 29, 2010

I used clearblue from Day 10 until Day 19. The smile face never showed up.And I'm sure I followed the instructions very well.Fortunately, I used other brand at the same time and I found the LH surge finally!

Easy To Read But Not A Bargain - Analisa Marki-Dunn on Jun 14, 2010

This is definitely a good product because it's much easier to interpret than the tests that make you compare lines. However, unlike what someone said in an earlier review, do not purchase the 20-test package unless you actually think you'll need more than 7 tests in a month (ie, if your cycles are really irregular). The digital reader part of the kit locks once you get a positive result, so it cannot be used the next month. While it's true that the test sticks will last longer because they are individually wrapped, you will end up with a lot of wasted strips because you have to buy a whole new package to get the new reader.

These Are Awesome!!!! - brandyb254 on Nov 4, 2011

After trying to get pregnant for 5 months my husband and I were getting frustrated. I decided to purchase a pack of these to try and see what happens. We got pregnant that month!!!! We now have a happy healthy baby boy. When we decide to start trying for number 2, this will be the first purchase I make.

Awesome, But Not Very Reliable - Rachel817 on Apr 13, 2011

I got these tests after starting to see a reproductive endocrinologist after almost 4 years of trying. I have used other ovulation tests before, but never the digital kind. I LOVE the obvious results. I really really do. With the other tests I would get positives (or I guess darn close) for days on end. I have used these two months, and both times I only got one smiley, which makes it much easier to pinpoint ovulation.

Overall I think they are great. There are some drawbacks though.
1. Sometimes it doesn't want to work right. The first like 4 times I tried to use the thing it gave me error codes. I guess I finally figured out how to make it work, but I still get the error codes sometimes when I put the test strip in. My advice is to pee in a cup so if it doesn't work you don't have to wait hours to have to pee and try again.
2. The time limits suck. I know that you are supposed to read ALL tests within a certain amount of time, but sometimes you get distracted. Well that sucks for you, because after eight minutes your test results are gone. Also, when an error code comes up you have to wait 8 minutes for it to reset.

These are minimal problems to me, because the ease of getting an obvious answer is amazing.

Definitely Helped Detect LH Surge BEFORE It Started With No Guess Work! - Brandy Foster "Brand on Mar 28, 2011

I'm a late ovulator it turns out. CD 22 is pretty absurd, but my cycles are long. It tells you to start testing on CD11. I started CD9 with other cheap sticks (though knowing I wouldn't O) just so I would be absolutely certain I didn't miss my surge. The cheapies are hard to understand. Is the line dark enough, not, etc. At Day 12, I started testing with the smile sticks TWICE a day and boy, I am so glad I did.

I would test between 10-11ish each morning and then again usually around 7-8 p.m. On day 21 I tested at 11:50 a.m., no smiles. I had no smiles until this point at all (makes sense). If I were only testing once a day, I would have missed the beginning of my surge! I tested again at 4:35 p.m. and what do you know.... smiles! Thank goodness I tested again!

I tested again that night at around 9:30 p.m. to see if my surge was still going (it varies per person in length) and still smiles! When I popped it out for the two smiles that day, the test line was getting darker. The next morning, I tested with another brand and the test line was much darker than the control line. Those smiles were able to detect my surge just as it was coming on... because now about 24 hours later, I was still testing positive.

The next morning (today) I used another smiley face and it was back to a circle...

Moral of the story: these work and detect early on in your LH surge without guessing if the lines were dark or not. SO WORTH THE MONEY!

Recommendation: buy the 20-count box and some extra cheapies so you will have something else to pee on when you get antsy. Also, test twice a day, otherwise you could miss the onset of your LH surge! Don't use first morning urine because it won't detect accurately when the LH surge started in your body since the urine would be there for about 8 hours overnight. Did it start last night or this morning, no way to know! Pee first, then take the next urine sample of the day.

Great Product - nccu122006 on Jan 23, 2011

The kit is easy to use. There is no guessing. A smiley face indicates when you are ovulating. I used it b/c we had been trying for 3 months. After one month of using it I tested positive!!! Good Luck!!!

Did Not Work - momof2 on Jan 16, 2011

i started the test on day 9, used them all the way up until i got my period, followed directions correctly, and never got the smiley face.. very disappointed!!!! dont get your hopes up for these tests!

Works Great! - European Book Treasu on Nov 3, 2010

This test is very easy and fool-proofed. I started testing on day 5 after my period began. The instructions recommend starting at day 9, but since I have very irregular periods (24-28 days), I started early. Previously I have been on an IUCD for 3 years. Surge showed on days 16 and 17. On day 29 I had a positive pregnancy result (using a ClearBlue pregnancy test kit on the date of the longest expected period). This ovulation test kit definitely works, although it is hard to wait for that smiley face but it's definitely there if you do ovulate in the given cycle. Good luck, everyone!

These Work! - Tnbuyer "tnbuyer" on May 18, 2010

TTC # 4 and over 35, I used these the first month, these showed when I was going to ovulate. So they work! But no baby yet. I ordered the 20 stick pack and will spread it out over the next two months, since they are individually wrapped. I test days 11-15 two times a day, 11 am and 8pm. We are tyring the Shettles method, so we need to time near ovulation. Fingers crossed, send baby dust our way!

AMAZING!!!! - BeccaD on Dec 18, 2011

I had been trying to conceive a few months before I decided to try the ovulation tests. In november I bought these tests and just found out that I am pregnant!! So it worked for me on the first try. I am so excited and would recomment this to anyone. I have really regular periods and thought I knew when I was ovulating but this test gave me a definite answer. Good luck to all who are trying!!!

Really Works - trisha on Dec 14, 2011

I should start my saying that I rarely leave reviews, though I use them heavily. I found this product was a good starting point to review a product. After a heart-wrenching late term miscarriage last year and many surgeries to help fortify my cervix, a year later we were given the green light to proceed with trying to conceive. I picked up some of those cheaper pee-on-stick ovulation tests with the 2 lines. We tried these for two months and each day got a negative result, promoting my growing fear that maybe something was wrong with my ovaries and that I was not ovulating. For our third month, we picked up the digital clearblue easy and started on the 8th day after my period. I proceeded everyday at 5am to pee in a cup and dip the wand and on my 16th and 17th day (32-33 day cycle) I received a smiley! I woke my husband up immediately and did the deed numerous times within a 3 day time period. Desperate much? The answer is yes. That was about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Now, just a few weeks later, we discovered (using clearblue easy digital pregnancy detector) that I am in fact pregnant. We're pretty excited and I have to say that this product really dispelled my fears and perhaps was the only product sensitive enough to detect my LH surge. :)

Amazing - Heather on Oct 25, 2011

I was told i wouldn't be able to have kids, i got this kit because we wanted to run our options out. well when i got that lovely little smiley face, we did our business and i am now 5 weeks pregnant. i am excited and have even told people looking to get pregnant to use this. i have one friend now who's using them. totally well worth every penny....

Very Easy To Use! - Mish on Mar 1, 2011

I've been using a microscope type of thing to TTC and have no results (those fern pattern is not clear enough and it's hard to predict the exact day).

So I just ordered this to give it a try. This thing must be so popular that I had to pre-order it! But anyways, I got it right on time a few days ago. I knew I would be ovulating around this time (according to the past months). So yes, I just found out I did O today with that Big Smiley Face! I wish I had baby-danced last night instead of the night before... but oh well. The thing is NOW I KNOW WHEN EXACTLY I OVULATE! And this test is so easy to use and it shows me that Happy Face so I won't be confused! :)

I just told my DH... I hope we can see the result this month and I'll be even happier with this product!

Easy - B. Nicks on Sep 3, 2010

i chose clearblue digital because they provide a clear cut answer. easy to use and super exciting to get the smiley face!

Worked Like A Charm... - Steph on Aug 8, 2010

The product is easy to use and the digital smiley face is very simple to read. After months of casually TTC, we decided to get more serious, bought the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests and got pregnant on our first cycle!

Easy To Use And Interpret - centralFL on Jul 4, 2010

This is our 2nd month TTC and first time ever using an ovulation predictor test. I chose this kit because there is no guess work involved....you get either an empty circle or a smiley face. I'm glad I took this time to do this because although my cycles are of average length (28-34 days), I found this month that I didn't ovulate until day #20 of my cycle. I probably missed my window of opportunity during out first month TTC because I went by the general rule of counting 14 days from the first date of the last period. So, here's hoping I get my BFP soon!

Love This Product! It Is Definitely Worth It! - Gina on May 15, 2010

This product is definitely worth buying if you are tracking your ovulation. First I tried another popular brand and it was so difficult to read, that I missed my ovulation. Then, I tried the Digital ClearBlue Easy and I am so happy with it. I got My smiley face!

Great Product - Rose Captain on May 11, 2010

It really works! I got pregnant after our first trial of the product. I strongly recommend it especially to those with irregular cycles.

Fantastic! - Tosha on Jan 19, 2012

I used these for the first time when my cycle started on 12/20/11. I have extremely irregular cycles (my cycle before this one started on 10/14/11-CRAZY, right?), so I used the cheap lined tests until it looked + or pretty close. Sure enough, the digitals confirmed what I thought was a + using the lined OPK. I was seriously doubting that the lined test was + because it was super early in my cycle (cd 17); usually I didn't get + until cd 26, but I couldn't argue with the smiley face :)

Anyway, DH and I baby-danced that night, the following day in the evening, and the next day in the afternoon and at night. We took a day off then went once more late at night.

I ended up testing about 4 days early (wasn't sure when to expect AF, but wanted to wait til 14 dpo) because of all of these "weird" feelings I had in my stomach, pelvic area and ribs. I tested at 930pm (1/17/12) and got a faint line. I tested again the next morning (1/18/11) with FMU and got definite + (used internet cheapie, frer and cbe digital)!!!

I am convinced that using the cheap lined OPKs caused me to miss my O window due to misinterpretation (we went off BC in August 2011). I love the digitals b/c it takes the guesswork and need for interpretation out of it! We're now expecting a September baby and are over-the-moon ecstatic :)

Unbelievable Results So Worth The $$ - Suki on Dec 29, 2011

My husband and I have been trying for a over 3 years already and we have even took tests at IVF. We were told there was no problems with both of us but we can try the IVF procedures. As I am getting older, I have been very stressful in trying to get pregnant. I did tried ovulation kits before but it's really confusing when the fainted line is actually indicating that I will be ovulating. So I am in the point where I feel so stressed and want to go ahead and try the IVF. But I purchased this kit thinking that I still want to try naturally and I am giving it a last try. The kit is so worth the price.

1) I love the fact that this comes in packages so I dont have to throw away the package after a month, because one of the other ovulation kit (20 days ovulation kit) that I used before states that I should not use the kit after 30 days. So I dont have to be wasting my money buying more kits. Before, I tried 2 other kits, it show that I ovulation on the 17th day of the month, so I automatically think that I will ovulate on the 17th day of the month every month. So all these years, I was thinking that I ovulate on the 17th day of the month. So after testing for 3 months, we found out that we were having intercourse on the wrong days before. Because my cycle is not normal, so I actually ovulate in different days of the month. So this test takes away the guessing.

2) I love the happy face. I do feel happy to see the happy face. I read the reviews saying that I should test in the morning and in the late afternoon. It's true. I tested once in the morning, and it didnt show the happy face. When I tested in the late afternoon, the happy face shows up.

3) It really works!! After the 3rd month of trying (and I was anxious because I only have less than 10 ovulation sticks left), we tried again and I was pregnant! I found out that I was pregnant on Christmas Day which is the best Christmas gift I ever got!

I really have to say this is the best Ovulation kit!! It's so worth it, because I dont have to go thru IVF ( even though my insurance cover it) but I am pregnant now naturally. I wished that I have purchased this ovulation kit few years ago.

Love Them! - Kimberly on Dec 29, 2011

Love them! First my suggestion would be to sign up for "Subscribe & Save" to get the cheaper pricing...if you get preggo on your first month then you can just cancel any future deliveries. These tests are super easy and totally takes the guesswork out of the whole process!

To give you a little background information - as your probably already know a lot of people have a hard time getting pregnant while breastfeeding although there are some people who are very lucky and do!

I breast-fed my daughter until she was 15 months. The hubby and I started trying to get preggo when she was 13 months. I used these tests to make sure I was ovulating during my cycle, which I was however after 2 months of trying I still wasn't pregnant. It was driving me crazy because my hubby and I were lucky enough to get pregnant on our Honeymoon so I never anticipated having a hard time when we tried for a second child. Needless to say after that 2nd month of not getting pregnant I decided to wean her completely and low and behold, the very next month we got PREGNANT! : ) I'm now 7 wks along! I ended up doing a lot of reading up on it and from what I've read prolactin (which is what your body releases while breastfeeding) can prevent implantation. Also, my other piece of advice try to hold off on taking a pregnancy test until 2 weeks past conception so you don't waste money on HPT's. I wish I did ;)

Worked For Us!! - Sarah on Dec 28, 2011

I fell pregnant the second month after using these. Super easy to use and got a smiley face both months ( we became pregnant on the second month) So easy to use and never had any problems with them.

Works If You Follow The Instructions Very Well - baby_hopeful on Dec 23, 2011

This Ovulation test kit works very well if you follow the instructions. You have to be extra careful on what you are reading. Provided that you started the machine in right time and took the measurement in right way, it works perfectly. But performance depends on many different factors including regularity of your cycle to the way you used the kit. We did cross check with other Ovulation prediction kits and Clearblue was far more consistent than any others.

Takes The Guesswork Out Of It! - Jamie Horne on Dec 18, 2011

After reading through all the reviews on Amazon I decided to give these a shot. My husband and I had been TTC for about 2 months after two miscarriages in 2010. Prior to my miscarriages, and shortly after my cycle was incredibly regular. During the two months we were TTC my cycle stopped being regular and I was having a lot of issues. The first month I used these tests I did not get a smiley face until the 16th day and I had a really weird and late period. I had been worried that something was wrong with me but after this first month everything finally returned to normal. The next two months I saw my smiley face on the 12th day and got my period on the 28th day of my cycle. I've come to realize that I was stressing myself out trying to get pregnant (and worrying about whether we would finally have a successful pregnancy). So while we are not pregnant yet, these tests have helped in taking the stress out of baby making for me. Hoping for a BFP this month, and if not at least I can go back to my Dr. with some details about my cycle to help figure out what the issue is. My only issue is the sensitivity of these tests. Twice I've received errors for not holding the stick under the stream for long enough. I have found that it is easier to pee in a cup and dunk the test if I don't think I can pee long enough to use the stream method. Usually this isn't an issue since I wait to test until late afternoon, early evening and by then I really have to go because holding it in for four hours is awful.

A Little Pricey, But Clear Result. - JB on Dec 17, 2011

Used these at the same time as the cheapies also found on Amazon.

This was a much clearer result, but also got a positive result on the cheapies.

Due to the cost I plan to use the cheapies until I get a + and then confirm with the digital. If it weren't for the cost I would definitely use these all the time!

Very easy to use and can be used in the stream of urine or in a cup of collected urine.

Easy To Read. - Olivia T on Dec 16, 2011

I like the product because it's so easy to read. You don't need to spend time observing which line is darker than the other which can be really confusing sometimes. When you see a smile face, that's it! I know many people suggest that you may take the test twice a day in case missing the LH surge. I did as the instruction said the first thing in the morning and it worked.

Worked Like A Charm - Jenn on Dec 6, 2011

I bought these tests after a few months of trying unsuccessfully and being disappointed by not being pregnant. So I thought it was time to give something a try. I wanted to make sure I was ovulating and that everything was okay before being dissapointed over and over again. My cycles are fairly short, but vary in length by about 5-7 days, so the first few months of trying were unsuccessful with other tracking methods. I started using these on day 7 instead of day 9 (I wanted to be sure to catch the surge). I did what many of the reviews suggested, and tested twice a day (once in the morning, and once at night). We were having sex every few days once my period ended just in case. The morning of day 11 I got a smiley face. It was pretty exciting to see it and I felt relieved. But I did keep testing to make sure it wasn't a fluke. That night, no smiley. I was a bit disappointed and confused. I thought maybe it wasn't working. The morning of day 12, no smiley again. The night of day 12, I got a smiley again.

Since they say the window of the surge is 24-48 hrs, I was pretty sure I was about to ovulate with the two smileys that I got. We had sex on days 11 and 12. A week later I should have started spotting if I were going to get my period, but I didn't. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative (it was too soon). A few days later, still no spotting, so I took another test (like most people, I couldn't wait). I thought I saw the faintest line but it looked like there was nothing. Turns out, it was a positive line. I did a third test when my period was supposed to start, and I got a very good line. I am pregnant.

This test worked really well. It takes all of the guess work out of trying to have a baby. This is great for people who are like me and your cycles are a bit all over the place.

I highly recommend this product. And you can't beat the price. The same thing in a drug store like Walgreens or CVS is over twice the price.

Exactly What I Needed!! - BoilerMomSki on Nov 12, 2011

I usually don't write reviews but I'm so excited about this product! After trying to conceive and not being successful I purchased the Clearblue Digital Ovulation kit. I only used it with my first morning urine since that worked best with my schedule, after reading other reviews I was afraid I might miss my LH surge with this method. But finally on my 20th day of cycle I had a smiley face :-) And then 14 days after the LH surge was positive I had a positive pregnancy test!! My husband and I are thrilled and I will always recommend this product to anyone trying to conceive! It's much easier to see a circle or a smiley face then trying to decide if the line is darker or not than the previous day!

OMG! - Gerrie L. "Noire" on Oct 31, 2011

I have been so off with my ovulation using only calendars!

No wonder we haven't been successful for the past 6 months of trying!

This thing showed me that I ovulate 9 to 11 days past the first day of my periods. The calendars kept showing that i ovulate 14 to 16 days past periods. By the time we started trying, it was too late!

And for those who say "have sex everyday" they prolly don't know how the stress of it all might mess up your sexual stamina.

Thanks Clearblue!
Good luck to all!

Long Cycle And Late Ovulation - tess on Oct 30, 2011

I have a 37 (ish) day cycle and we have been TTC for 4 months. Since my cycle is so long I really didn't know when I ovulated but assumed it was around day 20. I started using this ovulation test on day 11 to be safe. And I finally got a smiley face on day 29 with my LAST STICK! I thought for sure it wasn't working or I was testing at the wrong time or I wasn't ovulating. So don't give up! Now I know I ovulate late. VERY helpful! For reference I would pee once around 5am when I took the dog out then wait till 9 to test every morning. But the day I got the positive result I had pretty much given up and just tested at 8:30 am after not peeing all night, and it still worked. :) I also used the testing in a cup method instead of peeing directly on the stick, it was a bit easier. If we don't get pregnant this month I will buy another test and start a bit later in my cycle, day 17 or so. I am so glad I got the Clearblue Digital Ovulation test with the 20 sticks!
