Much Better Sleep - W. Easley "Opa" on Oct 27, 2009

My wife often complained about by snoring. There appeared little I could do other than sleeping in the guest room. Then, after I communicated her complaints to my primary physician, I underwent a sleep test. Suddenly the problem became clear. According to the doctor, I was getting very little sleep and my health was deteriorating.

In the test they found that I awakened about three hundred times during the night. They explained that when I became relaxed my Uvula relaxed and closed off my trachea. When I would stop breathing my system would awaken me enough that I could take a breath, but not fully awaken. Since it was happening over three hundred times each night, I was getting little REM sleep.

So I found Breathe Right strips. I do not understand the technology, but somehow I no longer snore and I get better sleep. I strongly recommend these to anyone who snores, and even people who are tired all the time - maybe you do not know you have a problem, I didn't. Personally, I intend to use these little marvels every night.

BTW: Many months later, my physicians ordered a CPAP machine for me to use while sleeping. With the combination of CPAP and Breathe Right, my sleep has improved greatly and my health has improved.

Snoring And Breathe Right Quality - Richard C. Guglomo on Jan 4, 2011

For those of you thinking that you will stop snoring with Breathe Right think again. Snoring is a symptom of some other problem. In 2000 my doctor asked me if I snored badly. I replied that my wife now sleeps in another room because of my snoring. He suggested that I had Sleep Apnea and scheduled me for a sleep study. It turned out that I did have Sleep Apnea. I obtained a CPAP machine and started using it and my wife returned to our bedroom immediately. My snoring stopped immediately. I also have bad hay fever and the CPAP had an added benefit. Their is an air filter on the blower inlet to the machine that cleans the air to the Mask. I no longer wake up with a stuffy nose. Partly because the CPAP mask forces pressurized air through my nose and partly I believe because of the filter. Shortly after I started using the CPAP I discovered Breathe Right Nasal Strips. I started using them and they helped with night time breathing because I have narrow nasal passages. I have been using the CPAP and Breathe Right Nasal Strips for 10 years.

Now the bad news. In November 2010, I purchased several more boxes of Breathe Right and have been experiencing a problem in the morning. The adhesive that sticks to your nose is pulling away from the plastic band that pulls your nose out from normal position. So I wake up in the morning with only partially open nose passages. It appears that GlaxoSmithKline has a quality problem with the strips. Maybe they are having them made by another factory (OFFSHORE) and that is the problem with the quality.

Good, But Adhesive Is Not As Strong As The Peach-colored Version - JTL on Aug 6, 2010

I'm a fan of Breathe Right strips ... they aid in clear breathing when I sleep, particularly if I have a cold. I bought the clear/sensitive version of these on Amazon because the price was great. Going forward, I'll stick with the peach-colored version ... the adhesive is stronger. I found the clear strips would peel off my nose during the night. In some cases, if my nose was even a little damp from pre-bed face-washing, the strip wouldn't adhere. Unless you have very sensitive skin, I would recommend the peach-colored version.

Stay Asleep! - G. M. Handlon "the b on Jan 22, 2007

Here was the problem. I kept waking up in the middle of the night because my nasal passages would collapse when my head was turned sideways. Not a good thing if you want a good night's rest.

I tried the tan version first. Horrible. I had a red welt across the bridge of my nose in two days where the adhesive ripped my skin off, even after trying to loosen them up in the shower.

I went to the clear strips which have lower adhesive properties. Perfect, I now sleep through the night, and I can remove them in the morning without removing flesh.

Awesome - Lucas A. Miller "Luk on Nov 3, 2010

I use this product when I run. They really open your nose airway to help you breathe in more oxygen. These are clear and you can't tell you are wearing them unless you look close.

A tip I've learned when putting them on. Take off only 1/2 of the sticker backing. Use the center line as a guide and place it directly in the middle of your nose. Press the sticky side down on the side of your nose, pull off the other 1/2 of the sticker backing and press on your nose. This way the strip will be perfectly centered on your nose.

Amazing... - Leila Sim "leilasim" on Nov 23, 2010

They handing trial samples of this product in Manhattan. It's amazing! I no longer wake up in the middle of the night thirsty for water, I sleep with my mouth closed the entire night. I am a customer for life!!!

Opens Up The Nose And Quiets Most Of The Snoring! - J. Trae Bowman III on Dec 1, 2008

I have been using these things for a couple years. I discovered the Amazon subscription program about 6 months ago and I have been greatly pleased. The price is cheaper than in any drug or grocery store and it comes to my door without me having to order it.

If I don't put one of these little guys on before I go to bed, I get a happy, little nudge from the wife telling me to put it on or go sleep in the guest room.

Really Opens Things Up - Chris S. Rokitski "C on Mar 5, 2011

I love Breathe Right Strips! The instant I apply one to my nose, I can feel things open up and more air moving. They stay attached the whole night (sometimes 10 hours on the weekend). When I take them off in the morning I notice the reduced difference in air flow.

The clear version is easy to remove with no pain. The tan ones do seem to stick more like a band-aid and pull more when they are removed. Based on that I like the clear version better.

Breath Right Nasal Strips - Jim-Bob-Willie-Joe on Jan 26, 2011

I always use this product, but thought it could not be the same product because the price was 1/3 of what I would pay for it at Walmart. However when I received it, I found it was the same product.

I wish they would make a little bigger strips, with methol but this is the biggest one they make.

These Are Great - N. Ross on Dec 22, 2010

My husband uses these nightly. He has a deviated septum and has problems sleeping and snoring. He also uses them when he goes to the dentist
for the times he has to lay back in the chair for a prolonged procedure. He's been using them for years. Get them from amazon on their subscription
service.

Breathing Better - G. S. Patton on Jul 12, 2010

The product does help. I have used the small/medium and the large. Both sizes worked but for me the large was a better fit. It took some practice getting the strip equally on either side of my nose. A mirror is helpful.
I told my doctor I was using them and he approved saying that the strips did improve air flow and that if they seemed to help my sleep then continue using them.

The Difference Is Pretty Amazing - Pelki "WAAAARRRLLOOO on Jul 9, 2010

Love the product overall, only trouble with it is if I moisturize after washing my face the adhesive won't stick (makes sense, just a pain is all), that and more than once Ive lost one in my sleep and found it stuck to some random part of my body in the shower...lol.

All that being said the difference between having one on and not is incredible. it makes me wish I could wear one everywhere I go all the time.

Right Through The Night - T. Smith on Apr 3, 2010

Very comfortable! Great supplier!

The best on the market. On one occasion, after running out of Breathe Right brand strips, I reluctanly tried another store brand of strips. With the store brand, I felt like I was ripping the skin off my nose when I removed the strip the next morning. Not only that but it felt like I had a large bandage on my nose all night.

With the Breathe Right strips, I do feel a little bit of a let down the next morning when I remove it. As breathing through your nose returns to normal. Must be because they work so good.

Highly recommended purchase through Amazon.

Not Very Sticky - T. Brown on Dec 14, 2010

Seems a little cynical that a manufacturer of a product that doesn't work too well sells another one that does. These regular clear breathe right strips stick okay initially but usually comes undone by the morning if you sleep in them. The regular flesh colored fabric strips stick much better. I'm guessing the clear plastic doesn't itself breathe as well as the fabric and the moisture from ones skin undoes the adhesive.

Improves Breathing And Reduces Snoring - Thomas on Mar 1, 2009

These clear nasal strips improve the airflow when applied.
They might help for better sleep, more oxygen in general (for sports or illnesses) or to reduce snoring.

They can be easily put across the nose in the correct place (instructins included). Removal with water is easy. Rarely some skin irritations (red skin) might be possible for sensitive skin.

They improve airflow signficantly. Therefore, they reduce snoring significantly. It does not necessarily remove all snoring effects depending on your symptoms. Check out the "British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Association" to find out which products suits your needs best to improve or remove snoring.
For me these strips together with the mouth piece "snore no more" completely stops all snoring.

Clear Vs. Tan? - GH on Feb 16, 2009

The clear Breathe-Right strips are as effective as the original tan ones (i.e. very effective) but are much easier to remove: a little warm water and they pop off. A big improvement over the tan ones, which have to coaxed off with soap and water.

Large Was A Mistake, Even The Regular Sizes Are A Bit Weak - T. Tyler on Jan 19, 2012

I'm a big guy, the large are meant for Toucans or other large beaked birds. Buy regular size.
Breathe right produces a newer stronger version that I use. These were a bit weak at lifting open the nasal passage and I'd still sore a bit with these on.

Their other products are much better.

Breathe Right Nasal Strips - S. Hirabayashi on Jan 14, 2012

Maybe I snore, maybe I don't, but my wife swears I do and is the one who asked me to try Breathe Right and is the one who is very grateful that I have.

Happy Customer! - ThinkingBig on Jan 10, 2012

Great product with a better price than Walmart, recieved quick, getting great night sleep...
was able to stop using nasal spray!

Shorted - kjb511 on Dec 29, 2011

Instead of a box of 30, I was sent 4 boxes of 8. That would have been OK except 2 boxes had been partially opened and 4 strips had been removed from each . Thus I received 24 nasal strips instead of 30. I can't believe they chiseled me that way.

Quiet Nights - debbiesobored on Dec 17, 2011

the breath right strips work well, they stick very well to the nose even if u have greasy skin.they do keep your nostrils open. and help you breathe better.
does not stop the snoring totally but its no where near as bad.

Very Little Snoring Now - jpf76 on Dec 10, 2011

Breathe Right strips have worked great for me. I still snore some but nothing like when I do not use nose strips. Keeps my wife happy. I have been using them for a long time and the original tan large work the best for me.

Unbelievable!!! - Michele Venuti "Mik" on Dec 9, 2011

I have been using the strips for six months now and I love them...in fact, I cannot even imagine sleeping without them. I have a broken septum and, in the last couple of years, my at night breathing gradually worsened to a point that I could not rest well anymore. I finally gave the strips a try and I could not believe the difference they made: I can breath through my nose without the help of my mouth again. Highly recommended.

Positive - mauro on Dec 1, 2011

everything ok, this one help me to have a good breathing and to have good time to sleep 100% recomended

Finally I Can Sleep - C. Lewanzik on Nov 26, 2011

Breath Right is a helpfull little thing. At least I can sleep through all night. The seller behaved responsible. Delivering the parcel to Germany took longer than said and expected (5 1/2 weeks). But the Post was responsible, not the seller. It sticks good to your skin (in opposite to the german "Breath better" ) in the evening and can be easely peeled off in the morning, sometimes with a little bit of water, without hurting your skin.

Works Well For Breathing, But Don't Put It On Too Tight! - Clyde_Sr on Nov 4, 2011

The only con to this product is it has the potential to pinch your nose if put on too tight and it'll leave a red mark for 2-3 days.

I would suggest just placing it on the nose as directed and to not re-adjust / pinch the strip in an attempt to make it 'work better'. It actually works best when it's 'loosely placed'.

Best Breath Right Out There - S. Wood on Oct 22, 2011

I've tried just about all the different Breathe Right types as well as a bunch of generic brands. For regular use at night this is by far the best. It provides the least amount of irritation on the bridge of the nose.

Great For Deviated Septum - I am Flying Squirrel on Sep 30, 2011

These are a lifesaver for me. I have a deviated septum which makes breathing more difficult, especially at night. When I wear Breathe Right I wake up feeling more rested...if I don't wear one I wake up feeling exhausted. I use them daily. They are also great for colds or allergies to help you breathe. Awesome!

Easyier Breathing - J. Sweeney "Bears4u" on Sep 22, 2011

I like using the original Tan Breathe Right Nasal Strips. Being able to buy them at a decent price makes all the difference. They work far better than the newer plastic advanced strips. They can be somewhat difficult to take off, but I just use a Q-Tip dipped in water to help the removal process. I will be buying more. The shipping on this product seemed to take a long time, but fell within the time that they said it would take for the item to arrive.

It's Nice To Breath At Night. - Ideas&Opins on Sep 18, 2011

I use Breathe Right Strips so I purchased these for my mom. They work great for her too. This purchase was expedient and accurate. Thanks Breathe Right Company.

Sleep Savers! - Katherine Parsons "K on Sep 9, 2011

My husband can't sleep without these! He doesn't snore as much as he used to, and no longer needs to use Afrin to breath at night! Yay!

Wife Says I Stopped Snoring, I'll Have To Take Her Word For It. - J M on Aug 23, 2011

My wife was complaining that I was starting to snore pretty bad. I never heard myself snore, but she seemed pretty adamant about it. I figured I would give these strips a try.

The bad - they won't make you look sexy. It's not cool admitting that you are getting older and are snoring so loud that it bugs your spouse. Also I have to scrub my nose a little extra in the morning due to the sticky residue.

The good - these things actually work and they're cheap. My wife says that I haven't snored since I started using these. I can't tell a difference in sleeping but I'll take her word for it.

Amazing! - B. Stone on Aug 7, 2011

I have major issues with sleeping. Due to an accident when I was younger, I have issues breathing out of my left nostril. I didn't think that could be causing my sleeping problems. I tried these breathe right strips and got the best sleep ever! I could BREATHE! I wear them all the time, unless I'm going out of the house! It's nice to be able to breathe for once!

Jeff T. - Jeff T. on Aug 6, 2011

Breathe Right strips work well. No one can touch Amazon's price. Very reasonal. Shipping fast and very convenient. I will order again.

Sticks A Lot Better And Longer Than Extra Or Advanced - R. P. Henerey on Jul 12, 2011

It had been a few years since I tried strips. I don't remember Extra or Advanced being available back then. So figuring newer is better I tried Advanced first, always on squeaky clean skin. They stuck for about an hour and a half. OK, so I downgraded to Extra and only got about a 3 hour stick. Finally I went to these originals and they're still sticking strong after 7 hours.

It seems the newer models' aero wings don't contact my skin enough. The adhesive may be different too.

Quieter Snoring With Breathe Rights - GandJ "Joan" on Jun 23, 2011

My husband is a loud snorer. Doctors have been no help at all. Then I heard about Breathe Rights and informed my husband. He started using them and the Breathe Rights Original Large Tan made a big difference. (Advanced Breath Rights or any other type do not work.) My husband still snores but less often and much quieter. Bargain Express is a great place to buy them. Price is very reasonable and shipping is fast.

Awesome Product - Andrea verdi on Jun 3, 2011

When I purchased these nasal strips I was a little keen towards them, but now after 10 days of using them, I think that was one of the best purchases EVER.
Buy them without a doubt you won't regret it!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't Live Without These Little Miracles....... - Terri Abramson "Terr on Mar 29, 2011

Since I was 14 years old I had problems breathing due to a deviated septum in my left nostril after a car accident left me with a broken nose and 36 stitches in my face and nose. I used to look silly pulling my nostrils open in order to breathe and in hay fever seasons it was even worse as my nostril would swell up inside and then I couldn't breathe at all. All I can say is THANK GOD for these little miracles called Breathe Right Nasal Strips! I just put one on and voila....I can breathe again !!!!!
I have them sent to me every 3 months from Amazon.com. Thanks to them I don't ever have to worry about running out because they ship them to me without fail on time all the time !!!! I highly recommend both Breathe Right and Amazon.com as without them both I'd be lost !!
Sincerely,
Terri Abramson

Breathe Right Nasal Strips - G. Stieper on Mar 18, 2011

I can't say enough good things about these strips. I have been using them now for over a year. I put one on every night and I go to sleep with my nostrils wide open. If you have trouble breathing at night, THESE are the answer. One thing that they don't stress is the removal the next morning. Use soap, under the strip, to gently remove the strip from your nose. They work just great!!!!

Really Works - D Carlson on Mar 6, 2011

When I slept in the same room with my grandsons and they couldn't sleep through the night because of my snoring, I knew there was a problem. I asked my wife and she said it was pretty loud but that she was used to it. The first night that I used one of these, I was MUCH quieter, and now she is sleeping really well. It does what it is advertised to do, and sticks quite well to my nose.

Perfect For Congestion, Not For Snoring - Running on Mar 4, 2011

Basically all the reviews here are correct so I'll just break it down into numbers. Note: Your actual results may vary.

Reduce snoring: 0/5 same as before
Helps congestion: 5/5 all the time, every time
Helps sleep: 4/5 no doubt
Helps headache: 3/5 once in awhile
Helps with sinus: 2/5 occasionally
Easy to use: 3/5 it does not leave glue residue like other brands but it comes off every now and then (on clean nose)
Value for the money: 1/5 sadly they monopolized the market

Now I wonder how marathoners run with these for couple hours without this coming off?

Helped My Dad But Not Me - Fr. Charles Erlandso on Mar 2, 2011

My Mom and Dad recommended these nasal strips, along with using the Breathe Right throat strips. Apparently, this combination has been the only thing that has made my dad's snoring more tolerable for my Mom. My Mom was clear that I should try the "Extra," and not the weaker versions of the nasal strips.

However, after having used them for several weeks, I can't say I've noticed any difference in myself. They did open my nasal passages more, it's true, but they didn't help me with my snoring or not getting a good night's sleep.

I guess each user is different. They may be worth your trying them: they worked (with the nasal strips) for my Dad, but not for me. They're inexpensive enough that they're worth a shot for anyone who has a problem with snoring or sleep apnea.

Works As Advertised - D. Wortham on Feb 25, 2011

I remember when these first came out. They were being used in the NFL and then someone had the bright idea to market them to the general public.

They worked for me and for my father and brother.

If you think these may work for you then you should seriously think about talking to your doctor to make sure you don't have a serious problem with your breathing while sleeping. My father finally checked with his doctor and did a sleep test that showed he needed more than just this product. He used one of those cpak(?) machines for several years.

Anyway. I had to stop using them because the adhesive, so necessary for them to work properly, was irritating the skin of my nose. I was very disappointed since the strips do work as advertised.

One thing that did annoy me, without regard to the adhesive problem, was that I could see the thingy on my nose. Like having those annoying moving flash ads on websites that draw your attention away from the article you are trying to read. I never got used to that but I wasn't able to use them very long so I assume you can get used to it if it bothers you too.

I'm giving them 5 stars because my brother and father loved them and didn't have my problems at all with them. I don't blame the product for not ultimately working for me (very fair skinned).

Give them a try but don't buy a boatload till you are sure they work well for you.

I picked this up due to the price on Amazon. I usually buy them local. They work great and my wife loves the extra sleep!

Great Product - Benjamin Belanger "v on Jan 21, 2011

Exactly as advertised. Use them every night. I am told I still snore, but not nearly as bad, plus I feel so much more refreshed in the morning.

Couldn't Sleep Without Them - A. Crandall on Jan 5, 2011

These are fantastic to aid in better breathing. I make sure I never run out. Stuffy nose, hard to breath? Fix it with these.

A Breath Of Fresh Air - David A. Winton on Jul 13, 2010

I've been using breathe right (and the CVS brand analogues) for a couple of years and they are incredible. I broke my nose in fourth grade and have suffered from a deviated septum for the past 10 years. After applying a strip I can finally breathe through my nose and it feels wonderful. I've battled insomnia from infancy and these certainly help me go to sleep. As a word of caution, if it's warm, the strips may come off your nose in the night (I might actually be tearing them off because they can be uncomfortable if you don't apply them properly) and end up on pillows or blankets.

I use the large strips as I have a large nose, but my small nosed girlfriend has no problem using the large ones by placing them higher up her nose and at an angle.

Other thoughts: If you want to see sparks fly, open the individual packaging in the dark.
