Fantastic Lube, But Funny Taste And Dries Fast - Brie "Brie" on Jul 8, 2008

Assuming it's for masturbation, this lube works well if you can get off fast. As in under 10 mins unless you start producing some of your own lube b/c it dries pretty quickly. I had to reapply several times for longer sessions if I wasn't lubricating myself.
The smell doesn't smell, but the taste is awful. It's this chemically foul taste that I hate. If you don't mind not tasting anything down there, then this lube will be fine, but look for another if your the oral type.
Obviously don't try this for anal penetration since it's too thin. It's slippery, but not water slippery. It feels like your very own lube.
Not bad for the price and it's quite a big bottle and yes, a little does go a long way.
Don't try applying more to make it stay slick longer, it won't work. You'll just be wasting it, instead apply just enough and reapply if needed.

This stuff works pretty damn good! It does dry rather quickly however, but re-moistens very easily (water based). My girl has complained that it stings when she has a tiny tear down there.. (We don't use it everytime because we don't carry it around with us, and she's petite. Do the math.) Her and I both have tasted it, and we can't taste any bitterness. No stains is definitely a plus, and bottle is freaking awesome cause it has the pump action. A little goes a VERY long way, and the only downside is you can't use it in water. Very easy clean-up, and it acts like a lotion afterwards which is cool too :)

I have tried many different lubes and this is the only one I have ever found somewhat satisfying (other than Elbow Grease for extreme anal penetration)and able to use for an extended period of time during sex. I am not claiming that one application keeps going because I find this lube does loose it's lubrication effect in an average amount of time. I don't find that this gets sticky or have excess build up. Out of all lubes that I have personally tried it is the only one that doesn't feel nasty within just a couple of minutes. I am usually so disgusted with the lubrication if using a different product that it ruins the sex. I have not used this with any male masturbation devices like the flesh light, etc... so I can not comment on the interactions between this lube and those practices. I have used it for many sexual experiences and lots of anal play including toys made out of various materials, including various sizes (as large as a fist) and have never had any problems. Finally I personally have not had any problem with stains, smells, or other adverse reactions.

This product is overrated, it's not slick enough, and dries too quickly. It also has a slight acidic smell. The only plus is its large size, but you'll go through it quick because it dries fast. Astroglide is much better.

Pros:
* It's two big bottles so it lasts a long time and is a great price. You don't even need a full pump to do the job.
* It's very comparable to how a woman naturally feels so you're not slipping and sliding everywhere. For you guys, this means that you still get a good amount of friction.
* It's convenient to get to in the heat of the moment if things aren't cooperating down below. The pump makes it easy to put it on the night stand or whatever while you're busy kissing, etc.

Cons:
* It doesn't taste horrible, but it definitely has a taste that's unpleasant. So if you're even thinking about starting with a hand job and moving on to oral, don't use this stuff.
* It lasts considerably long, but don't think that you'll just use more of it to make it last longer. Applying two smaller amounts will make it last long both for that moment and for future uses.

The feel is just right for the maximum of sensation. It isn't greasy or oily, and it wipes off easily without being sticky. Unlike Astroglide, it doesn't leak out of closed containers. A lot of lubes provide a lot of slipperiness, but they don't really feel like the real thing. Liquid Silk definitely does. Usually one little squirt is just fine for a half hour or more of vigorous intercourse. With the hand, another squirt or two will add to the fun if you are long-lasting, as necessary. Not for underwater use, of course, as it washes off easily.

This product is very good. Not so thick that it glops up and not too thin that it runs. Not oily at all, very light and silky texture. I love the fact that it won't hurt my toy or leave a bad after-effect on my skin. A little goes a long way. I find that one whole pump is even too much. One of the best and friendliest I've tried and would definitely buy again.

If you want a fantastic water-based lube, then look no further! It stays lubricated for a long time (30+ min), but don't be too generous when applying because a little goes a long way.

*STAY AWAY FROM GENERIC AND JOHNSON & JOHNSON LUBES* Those are go for nothing.

My lady and I have been using Liquid Silk for over two years and have found it to be an excellent product. Well yeah this is the best lube ever. Oh this is so darn good. Personally lubricating, it lasts forever, and cleans up real nice with water. You know if you get other stuff in there with it, everything goes down the sink really nice with water. Pretty cool.

OK, so I like to take my time when I self lubricate. Spend some time looking at the scenery. Maybe take in a movie or two or three or four - you know the short kind. Maybe stop for some pictures or 100. Well a guy has got to have slickness for a long time. This stuff doesn't turn gummy or gooey too soon. It gives me just enough time to come over there and be happy. You know, no sticking to my big buddy. Nice and slide.

You know this stuff feels like the real thing, or what you get inside. Yep, it's the same thickness as that stuff from my lady friends. Feels just like it. All the better. No sahara desert there.

So get this stuff for your self lubricating. It works great with apparatus too. They clean up really good with warm water. This two pack, well that's a about a weeks supply for me, I love it that much. JOJO is happpy.

I have been using this lubricant for over a year now. I was first introduced to Liquid Silk by a friend who was ranting and raving about how good it is. So I decided to try it out for myself, and I have to say that it has been the best lubricant that I have used to date. It isn't sticky and oily; it isn't so thin that it runs on every application; and most importantly it feels smooth, and we both enjoy it very much. You can even leave it on and it feels like you got some lotion and put it down there, although I usually just shower it off... The point is: its good!

I exclusively used this product for a fleshlight toy and it will deteriorate the fleshlight material over time by making it sticky. The Liquid Silk product does not live up to it's claim of being water-based BECAUSE IT IS NOT!!! I wondered why my fleshlight was getting "Sticky" from time to time use so quickly and found out why: when I filled my bathroom sink with water and rinsed the toy with the lubricant I could see clouds that were floating on the water at an angle with the help of my bathroom lighting.

Don't tell me I didn't warn you, this product is not "water-based" and the ingredients lists many chemicals and preservatives along with it. It also does get TACKY and it does SMELL BAD!

I never used this with a partner, so I can't tell you on that part.
