When I read the active ingredients in biofreeze (menthol) I was pretty skeptical that it would do anything for the tendonitis I have developed in my wrist through overuse with computers and racquet sports. But after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. Slept with the biofreeze on my wrist. Woke up a couple of times and re-applied (not a great idea in the dark as it is blue!). By this morning the swelling in my wrist was reduced by about half. Very encouraging. I am going to continue with the biofreeze, ibuprophen and ice therapy and hope to get this situation calmed down.

I have been pleased with this product. I have a prescription pain reliever cream which costs more than twice as much as Biofreeze. It works just great, but Biofreeze seems to do equally as good a job and is effective for just as long. I will continue to use Biofreeze.

Husband has diabetes and has trouble with his legs and feets. This products helps to mask the pain and gives him some comfort. I use it for my arthritis too. Great product and will continue to use it as long as it continues to work. Only problem - I ordered 6 tubes. They were squeezed into the shipping box so tightly that the bottom of one tube broke open and leaked out and somewhat dried out in the shipping process. Therefore, I paid for 6 and only got 5 that I could use.

I've had shoulder issues for about 4 years and can rarely get relief from the pain. I tried BioFreeze for the first time at my chiropractor's office and I immediately felt a dulling of the pain. Amazon has the best prices for this product that I have seen anywhere and being able to buy multi-packs is an added bonus.
I had my 83 year old mother try it for arthritis in her hands and fingers and she noticed a near-immediate relief. (FYI...my mom is very hesitant to try new things because she has very sensitive skin and tends to only use things that a medical doctor prescribes).
I gave her one of the tubes that I ordered and she is now a fan. In addition, I shared some with my niece who has recurrent neck problems. She used it and she also noticed immediate relief.
This is a product I will never, ever be without. Thanks to Amazon for offering it at such a great price!

This stuff did not work for me. I bought like 2 or 3 and think it was a waste of money. It has a cooling effect but thats about it. What I recommend for others is the Aloe vera heat cream. It is like ben gay with a kick!

Icy hot gel with heavy odor of rubbing alcohol. The tingling lasts long enough for me to go to sleep. I must not be "hurt" enough for "the miracle" to occur. There's no beating deep heating. I won't have to by another aching muscle rub for awhile - three tubes should last about 5 years.

Biofreeze helps me relieve pain on my back, which I have had for over 20 years, better than anything I have EVER used. To the extent that I have it delivered to a friend in Los Angeles, who then mails it to me in Australia. Obviously, it is not available here, unfortunately.
