Good test strip. I use them because I have the Bayer USB meter... which is fantastic for me to keep track of my readings by just plugging into my computer.

But they are EXPENSIVE when you buy them from a regular pharmacy..VERY!

So I was thrilled to find them at 50% off the price I had been paying. Which makes them affordable for me to use, since I test about 6-8 times every 24 hours.

We were given a Bayer Contour blood sugar test kit by a medical supply house and needed additional strips. Diabetic Corner sent them promptly and they work much more easily than other kits we have used in the past. At a health fair we were able to offer participants their random blood sugar levels within a minute, as opposed to the five minutes required for older testing units.

Skeptical at first if these strips would be compatible with my meter, but after two control tests it seems to be responding well. I would prefer if there was some means to provide information to when the strips were to expire prior to purchasing though, it helps with the reliability of the product. Overall, if you would prefer to save money on strips if you don't currently have Healthcare, amazon and their partners are the way to go.

I needed to get my Husband his test strips for his Contour meter, but they are so expensive at the local supercenter. So I figured to look Online, and I tried different websites,but they wanted to charge me shipping and handling, and convinience fees. Which I did not think they were very convinient to me. so I came upon test strips at a great price on Amazon.com, and we were both very pleased with the products, and they sent us free of charge a box of lancets. Everything was in it's orginal packaging, and we received exactly what we ordered. We will definetly come back for refills.

I have the USB Contour and the going rate for 50 test strips runs from $89-$116 at the various stores in my area.

These were just under $55 for ONE HUNDRED strips. Can't beat that with a stick! Work great in the USB Contour tester. Consistent readings, and just take a small drop of blood to test. I bought these from National Dealz - and also from Deep Discount Center, both sellers here. Equally great sellers, fast service, and the strips were 9 months away from expiring in both cases.

For those of you who are diabetic or buying for a diabetic family member or friend, please test your levels frequently. The best way to keep your diabetes under control is to *KNOW* how your body is reacting to the food you eat, the exercise you do or do not get, and the lifestyle you live. A lot of people don't want to check their levels because they don't want to know. *Your blood sugar is what it is, whether or not you check and whether or not you feel any symptoms*. It's better to know for sure and move forward with a plan for control. Diabetes is a progressive disease. Whether or not you know your levels, it still will get worse. At least if you know where you stand, you can prolong the deterioration, and live a long, healthy life without the complications or at least delay them long enough that you get hit by a bus at age 99 instead of croaking from uncontrolled diabetes in 5 or 10 years from today. You *know* it is that serious. Yeah, test strips are pricey, and it is annoying to test, but consider the consequences of amputation, heart failure, kidney failure and other not so great things that happen as a result of uncontrolled blood sugar levels. A small, tiny price to pay for prevention, don't you think?

My local (Sam's/WalMart) sells the same testing strips for a box of 100 for $106.60 and I found them on Amazon for a much lower price and with great dates before these strips expire and I thank you for this item.

It does what it says. I like the Bayer USB reader because it does not require a cable to save the results to my computer. No recording results required. I just print a report to give to the doctor.

My mother is a diabetic and recently uses the bayer usb contour testing meter to test her blood sugar, the funny thing about diabetic supplies is that the testing meter are very very very affordable... some even FREE! but on the otherhand, the strips will run you $60- for 25 $100- 50 so it's like a dollar a testing strip. So here I am on amazon.com and I stumbled upon this listing and I hit the jackpot! I told my mother who though it was a great deal and I must say we are satisfied with the strips 1 out of the 2 boxes of strips may expire in 6months but the other box expires in 1 yr. I must say that is a good deal especially if you are trying to manage your sugar levels twice daily or even more-so you wont have to ration out your testing strips or if you don't get enough blood on the strip and you have to throw it away you wont feel bad about it. the strips can in a timely fashion at a great price I will be ordering this from this seller for my mother again.
