When I read descriptions of which tester the strips will work with, my tester is never listed. These strips work well in my Bayer Contour USB tester.

Great price, but be aware that expiration dates can be quite soon. Three of the 5 boxes we ordered expired within two months of the order date. Since my husband must check his sugar levles 4-6 times a day it's not a problem for us, but if you are an infrequent checker it could be a waste of money.

I have never gotten an expired lot of these strips, they always test within the recommended range when doing a quality test, and they are way cheaper than any pharmacy around here. I priced these at over $100 at my local pharmacy and the clerk seemed surprised when I told him how cheap I am able to get them here on Amazon. These are designed to be easy to use with small samples of blood, making it perfect for my cat's diabetes monitoring.

They offer expiration date information and I have been receiving this item with dates beyond one year plus expirations.

I recently was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and started testing. When I had to replace test strips I found out how expensive they are (usually $70.00 for 50) however was pleasantly surprized to find them on Amazon for much less. The shipping was fast, the strips tested fine with the control solution and I could not be happier with the service.

I bought two of this. They're cheaper than at Costco (half the price). I bought them on April 20, 2011. The expiration date on both boxes is the same: 2012-09. I tested them with the normal control solution. One box showed 129, the second one 130 (mg/dL). Right in the center of the normal range. I used this with the Bayer ContourUSB meter. I also have a FreeStyle Lite meter (different test strips). Comparing the two made me realize how innacurate these meters are. I asked a pharmacist if any other meter was more accurate, he said they're all about the same. They seem to have up to 20% error in the readings. The Bayer meter is almost always 10 units below the FreeStyle. Almost because once it read higher.

I'm new at this. I have a check up in two months. I'll try to remember to check these meters against the lab and post the results.

I'll be ordering again from these guys when I run out.

These test strips seem to have a Quality Control problem. My husband, who is a scientist, is finding at least a 20% error rate. He says he doesn't tolerate a 1% error rate in his lab. Considering the price of these (~$0.51 each), having to test multiple times to get any kind of consistency is just wrong.
