This is a very lightweight mat which is excellent for those with back pain. I would recommend using on bare skin for the full acupressure feel. Having just one shirt on can change the effects. It is very relaxing. My only wish is that it had a handle by which to hang the mat. I decided to attach a long shoestring from the top left to top right corner of the mat so I can keep it readily available on a hook on the back of my bedroom door. The mat is lightweight enough to roll up and take when traveling. It does fit in a standard sixe suitcase. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

It has helped my hip and lower back pain become bearable again. I cannot recommend this product strongly enough and as a frequent user of finger acupressure find it brilliant as it saves my poor fingers!!!!! It's so much healthier than taking pain relief tablets

I have read all the reviews of this mat and was a bit sceptical. However I do really struggle with sleeping and am desperate to try anything that could help. The first, time I used this acupuncture mat I actually fallen asleep on it! And am using it all the time to relax in the evenings. This does hurt at first but yuo get used to the sensation quickly and forget about the pain. Highly recommended

I am absolutely thrilled with this acupuncture mat! I got it 3 days ago and I am already addicted! I began by using it on the floor with a really thin tshirt on but couldn't feel anything so went straight to bare back. It's very strange at first; both very uncomfortable but ridiculously relaxing at the same time. You then get this rush of heat which feels so nice. It completely chills me out and I feel so relaxed afterwards. I don't think it gives you energy, because I just feel calmly sleepy afterwards but I really think it depends on who you are. I will definately be lying on it tonight before I go to sleep and I can imagine it will be the best sleep ever!

Its helping you with stress , and it actually makes you relax. Unbelievable It is sharp, my wife wasn't comfortable on it in the beginning, but she is now. It is a very interesting mat. I found out about it from a friend. Who used acupunture mat for years, I started researching it in amazon. I finally purchased a Talme mat after reading it's positive reviews. This mat is definitely perfect. I noticed from my use of it that if you use a shirt you do not feel the benefits as much. You have to have direct contact with the skin which is just like acupuncture where needles touch the skin not through your t-shirt.
So far my results from the mat In my short use...
1) It got rid of my headache.I stood on it barefoot until the headache went away.
2) I have no more back pain . The mat alleviated this issue almost immediately and it hasn't flared up yet and
3) my quality of sleep and also the length of time it takes to fall asleep have all gotten better.
Overall taking the price into account, this mat is highly recommended A+ product
