Within a few days of use (2 times a day; after training & at night for 25 minutes each session), I've felt results that I doubted I would ever have. It helps me fall asleep if im having cases of insomnia due to stress or if i am too tense. I've also found that it helps untie the knots in my back. If there's something in particular thats bothering you--say your lower back or neck then you can put a rolled up towel underneath the mat and under that area to intensify the healing process and removed knots from that particular area . The mat also seems to make the blood start circulating again and give a tingly sensation.
Everyone should get one. The hundreds of plastic spikes might look scary but they feel so good on your body, very tingly feeling and relaxing!
My mother who is 64 years old uses this every night also before going to bed because it helps her relax and puts her in a good stress free mood.

I want to report that the results so far have been terrific. I am currently unemployed, therefore I have the freedom to use this mat 2-3 times per day for 20 minute sessions. I had a migraine the other day so I used the mat barefoot and stepped into the spikes for 5 minutes and the migraine went away.
My lower back feels much better and I am sleeping 6-7 hours per night now instead of 4 so I guess all in all this mat works the way it is advertised to work. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.
I was intrigued to say the least and started researching it. I finally purchased a Nayoya mat after reading it's positive reviews. This mat is definitely unique. I noticed from my use of it that if you use a shirt you do not feel the benefits as much. You need direct contact with the skin which is just like acupuncture where needles touch the skin not through a shirt.
So far my results from the mat In my short use...
1) It got rid of a headache I had.I stood on it barefoot until the headache went away.
2) I have slight back pain in my lower right area. The mat alleviated this issue almost immediately and it hasn't flared up yet and
3) my quality of sleep and also the length of time it takes to fall asleep have all gotten better. It used to take me over an hour of turning and getting comfortable to fall asleep. If I lay on the mat for 15 minutes, close my eyes and focus I have found that a few times I even fell asleep on the mat for a few minutes before waking up and realizing I was sleeping on plastic spikes haha.
Overall taking the price into account, this mat is highly recommended because it is comfortable and has a many benefits all rolled into one
I have used it:
- resting my feet on it while sitting...this gives a pleasant massaging effect;
- laying on it shirtless on the floor while napping;
- leaning back against it in a chair;
- and laying on it in bed before sleep. This seems to work very well to help me relax to get to sleep.
The quality of the mat is good - nothing special - but certainly does what it was designed for.
I recommend it to anyone to try.
Well I got this and he gave me a weird look like "You're ridiculous, stop wasting your money on random $@!#" but I forced him to just try it and told him I'd return it if he didn't like it. He laid on it for about 10 minutes (shirtless), while telling me it kind of hurt, made him feel like he had sunburn, it wasn't working, etc. Well after 10 minutes I said ok, get up, I'll return it. He got up and his back was REALLY red, it definitely looked like he had sunburn!! But he got up and said his back DID feel better... it felt totally loose... He started moving around, stretching, trying to find pain somewhere, and couldn't! His exact words were "Well this is just weird." So he laid on it again! Now he LOVES this thing and looks forward to laying on it, and yesterday at Thanksgiving dinner I overheard him telling family about it and how amazing it was and that it made him feel "like a million bucks".
I don't usually suffer from back pain so I had no need for this, but yesterday after cooking for Thanksgiving and waking up on the wrong side of the bed, my back did feel kind of stiff so I laid on the mat for about 5 minutes. It WAS really weird how when I got up it just felt better. You lay down and you don't *feel* it reducing your pain... but as soon as you stand up it's gone. It's REALLY strange. I did find for me though that just laying flat on it didn't get rid of my lower back pain, but that is because of the natural curve in your back when you lay down I suppose. I rolled up a towel and stuck it under the mat and laid on it... problem solved.
All in all I'd say this was one of my best purchases ever... If something that costs $35 can get rid of my fiances back pain every day when he comes home from work in 10 minutes, without having to take any pain meds... It's great in my book and I'd recommend it to everyone.
I will say one thing though, if you have pets, definitely roll this up and put it away when not in use, or put it somewhere your pets wont get to it.. We had it on a chair we never use for a few hours.. Our cat got up on the chair, and must of jumped 8 feet when his paws touched the mat... LOL. He's fine - it just scared him. Was definitely funny, but not something I would have let happen had I realized. I'm sure he wont make that mistake again. Now when it's on the floor he walks around it like it's a lava pit! LOL. Poor kitty.
I ordered this during a very painful bout of rheumatoid arthritis in my feet. I learned long ago that the spikey massage shoes help a lot, but I need to get up and walk around in them for them to work. During the workday I can't do that every 15 minutes. The mat is currently sitting on top of a balance disk Body Sport Balance Disc, 13.8" Diameter, Inflate with Pump, Blue, Latex Free - Item #: ZZRVDBL just under my chair, and within a few minutes - even with light socks on - I could feel my feet start to tingle and the pain diminish. I can't wait to try it for my back / neck etc.
The interesting trial will be to see if it helps my 83 year old mother with a nasty, painful case of shingles. If it offers ANY relief for shingles pain, then it's definitely a 5-star product. (RECOMMNDATION: If you're 60 and haven't had the shingles vaccine, I would say - GET IT! My mother is in more pain with shingles than she was at about 3 days post chest-cracking lung surgery, and is having to take much higher doses of pain killers.)
I'll update the post later when we've tried more applications of the mat! But boy do my feet feel better already!!

My Nayoya Acupressure Mat arrived promptly in nice packaging. The first time I tried it was with bare skin to my back. It was slightly uncomfortable at first but after relaxing for about 3-5 minutes I could feel my muscles just melt to it. There was an almost immediate warmth/heat that rushed to that area which meant the tiny little acupressure spots were working better than I had imagined. With the combination of increased circulation, deep breathing and relaxation I had found using this mat has become my new after work activity! I use this mat for almost every ache and pain imaginable. I use it on my hips/buttocks, side of my thighs (IT band that is always tight), feet, calves ect you name it. When I have headaches I'll just put my massage table up and even use it on the sides of my head, temple area and back of my head. Needless to say I have gotten very creative with the many uses this mat has come to provide me. I would recommend it even to the skeptic!

be the answer. After talking with some people online who have also experienced back pain, it seemed like most of them recommended
something from "Nayoya Wellness". After then seeing all of the positive reviews on Amazon I immediately bought it and don't
regret it one bit. The mat has relieved much more pain than any of the professional services that I've used and I wouldn't
be surprised if it will permanently go.
I have only been using the mat for a little over a week so I can't tell its long term benefits but short term I am loving it for it's back pain relief. I lay on it naked so that I can feel the acupressure spikes working. After the initial few minutes there is a great supply of blood flow to my back easing the pain and making me very relaxed. After every session the back pain is temporarily gone and with each progressive session the back pain is gone for longer periods of time. I hope within a month it is gone for good.
I have tried other European made acupressure mats but the spike buttons on it would come off, this mats durability has been very impressive and shows no wear and tear and We use it numerous times per day.
After finding the Nayoya mat and further looking into this product, I decided that for such a low price, it definitely wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I'm one of those skeptics on the whole acupuncture thing and to be honest, was also pretty intimidated to willingly lay on a mat that was going to "poke" at me. But honestly, it's not bad at all and is actually really relaxing once you get used to the way it works.
Not only have I noticed amazing results in my upper AND lower back pain, but my foot pain is nearly gone and when I walk, there is no spiking or spasms as it was before using this mat. I have also noticed that I am sleeping better at night and regardless of the day I've had, am calm and collected after laying on the mat. I still honestly don't know much about the whole acupuncture details and how it can do things like this...but it does! I will never use any other product as long as the results keep as they have been for weeks. Simply amazing, I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this mat and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone I know.
