HOW DOES IT WORK? Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone, produced by the developing placenta shortly after the conception and secreted into the urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies which specifically react with this hormone. HOW TO READ THE RESULTS Negative (not pregnant): Only one color band appears, in the Control Zone. No apparent band on the Test Zone. This indicates that no pregnancy has been detected. Positive (pregnant): Distinct color bands appear in the Control and Test Zones. It indicates that you are pregnant. The color intensity of the test bands may vary since different stages of pregnancy have different concentrations of HCG hormone.

Anyone want 8 pregnancy tests?

Just a warning to everyone buying this: this isn't the pee-on-a-stick type of pregnancy test. It's the same thing, but without the stick applicator, so it is much smaller and you can't just urinate directly on it. You have to pee in a little cup (1/4-1/2 inch deep) and sit the stick in the urine. It works great, though, so don't be discouraged by the additional step of peeing in a cup.

Worked But Wish The Test Line Was Darker... - Anonymous on Feb 28, 2011

This product worked great other then I wish the test line would have been darker. I was a week late and took 5 of the 10 tests over a few days. All 5 tests showed faint positives and never got darker. When I went to the doc they said my hormone levels were extremely high so I would think it would have shown up darker on these tests. I would definately buy these again. I could definately see the second line and the shipping was quick as desired. And as most tests say, a line is a line! But for me, faint lines make me nervous! Other then that I would definately recommend!

Those That Worked Were Accurate, But 25% Were Duds - A.M. on Feb 16, 2011

I ended up using 8 of these. Of the 8, 2 were duds. Meaning, I dipped them in the urine, set them down, and the urine didn't travel up the stick to the part that has the test on it. Not a big deal since they're so cheap and come with 10. The other 6 did say I was pregnant. (I did 6 because I was kind of in shock and I just kept thinking let me just do one more bc they're so cheap... lol) I was nervous since the tests were so cheap. So I bought a drugstore digital test and sure enough same result. Super affordable and good for the environment, I would recommend these.

I got this product because my husband and I have been trying to conceive, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on tests. As best as I can tell, they're accurate - they've matched up with the results on the more expensive tests and with the blood work. The test strips are simple to use and relatively easy to read. This is the type of strip you have to hold in a container rather than hold in the urine stream. The kit does not come with cups, so you have to supply your own. My one complaint about readability is that the instructions are a little vague about how long you should wait to read the results (in one place you need to wait five minutes, but in another place it says the results are invalid after 5 minutes). So as long as you've got some plastic cups and a clock handy, these will serve your purpose just fine

confirmed a negative result, but don't know how it works with a positive result yet. it's slightly more work than the drugstore tests, b/c you have to pee in a cup and let it sit at room temperature, but since the price is so much cheaper than a drugstore test, completely worth it.

One review said they hadn't received the item - I ordered it anyway and received it almost instantly. I haven't used them yet but this type tends to be perfectly accurate and WAY cheaper than more fancy types. I'm a bit of a freak about trying to detect pregnancy 7-10 days past conception and this type of test has done the trick. :-)

The test strips in the photo are more sensitive early HPT strips. The ones I received had the pink handle. They were not evry sensitive at all. It was 4 days after missed period before it showed an obvious 2nd line.

Great product! It was cheap, easy to use and accurate.
I suspected pregnancy and tested for it on Day 16 and it came up negative. (It may have been too early for the hCG to be concentrated in my urine).
Then I tested again Day 18 and Day 24 and they were both positive. I am now 8 weeks pg.

All the strips come in individual packages with clear directions printed on them. If you plan to use these regularly then make sure you keep small cups in the bathroom. You can only submerge them so far so you have to hold the strip untill it is saturated. I also recommend using the packaging to lay the strip on while waiting for results. I have had no luck getting pregnant yet but this is an inexpensive test for someone who needs to test alot like I do. One negative note is I did have a friend who was very newly pregnant and she used one of these and got a negative result. It could have been because she did not use her first morning urine though. Ordered these for TTC and have been happy with them so far. Of course I will be happier when I get to see one that has 2 lines instead of one! They react fast and are easy to read. These won't work for you if you don't want to collect a small amount in a cup in order to dip the strip into. They are great for test-a-holics like me because they are MUCH cheaper than buying the pee on a stick kinds at the store. They are also really tiny, so they are fairly discreet if you need to take one along somewhere to test away from home. Good luck!

I have fairly irregular periods, so when I wasn't sure when my next one would be, I took a pregnancy test. If I got a negative, I'd wait a few days or a week, and test again. Love how cheap they are! Easy to use too, I just kept a few little disposable cups with the tests in the bathroom. When I got my first positive, the second line was faint, but definitely there! I took another test the following morning and it was almost as dark as the first. Will buy again someday.

Let me start by saying I only write reviews if I love a product a lot, or seriously hate it.. I hate the blue handle tests..They are AWFUL! I am getting positives on everything else... The dollar store tests, the pink handle tests, Store brand tests,and even the digitals(which are the LEAST sensitive).. The blue handles are still basically negative... Pitiful!! I will NEVER waste money on them again...
Get the pink handle ones if you are buying tests.. They are amazing!!

These arrived very fast, and I received the correct order. I tested at 9 DPO, and it was negative. Starting at 10DPO, I received faint, but very noticeable positives. Unfortunately, I ended up not being pregnant. Not sure if I actually was, and it was a chemical, or if the test strips provided false information. I would buy these again, but if I got a positive (faint or not) I would definitely use another brand to back it up. It is way better to buy these for the price, then spend an outrageous amount here.

I think they are super easy to use, Yes you need to pee in a cup but only a couple drips. Super fast results. Unless you really think you are pregnant, buy the larger pack. The 10 didn't last very long.

Never ever ever waste your money again on the drug store tests! All you are paying for is the packaging, these do exactly what they do for the FRACTION of the cost. I am currently pregnant, these detected my pregnancy during the correct time frame. The first one was a very faint line, but it was there! Because I had them in bulk I was able to test for subsequent days, and the line would be darker each day.

I received these free with the purchase of a supplement designed to help you get pregnant. I also received free midstream early detection tests by the same company (Devon Medical). I had already had Wondfo pregnancy test strips (look the same but the end of it is pink) that I bought last month from Amazon. I tested at 8DPO with the Wondfos and the Early Detection and got a super faint line. I tried this test (the one with blue on the end) and could not see anything at all. I retested the next day and lines on the other 2 tests were darker than the previous day yet this test still read negative. Today at 11DPO I retested again and darker still on the other 2 tests (good, obvious positives) and finally a second line on this test. However, had I not been looking for it, I never would have seen it. I thought all of these cheap "internet strips" detected at the same level but either that's not the case or this test just doesn't put out enough dye or something. 8DPO is pretty early to get a positive so I wouldn't have been surprised if they all came back negative, but the fact the other 2 tests are giving me strong positives and this one still isn't giving me a good line, tells me it's just not as good.

I would recommend Wondfos over these in a heartbeat if you're looking for a cheap home pregnancy test option. Also the Devon Medical Early Detection midstream tests worked really well too but a bit more expensive. Still cheaper than drugstore prices and you can pee directly on it rather than in a cup first if that sort of thing bothers you.

This little strips works nicely and accurately. Although at the first glance they seem tiny, which is compared to other commercial products old in drugstores, technically tiny ones should work as well as big ones; and they did.

I took 3 tests in a week, all post period due date. All three showed positively and I can clearly tell the intensity increasing, indicating hormone level growing. Seeing this is very assuring, though a blood test later will be more quantitative.

For this price and fast shipping, I am very satisfied with the product and the seller. It said two-day shipping but actually arrived the next day.

More accurate and worked sooner than the store-bought brands that claim to work 6 days before a missed period. While those brands did detect hcg, the resulting line was SO faint, it was hard to read unless you were really looking for it. These, on the other hand, worked 4 or 5 days before my period was due, and consistently got darker and darker as time went on (I did several checks a day). At this price, it's a no-brainer.

This is a great product for couples trying to conceive, as they can be purchased in bulk for about the tenth of the cost of tests from the drugstore. The test is just a tiny strip of paper inside of a small wrapper (no wasted plastic or boxes). However, unlike the store-bought tests, you do have to pee in a cup first. But it only takes about an extra 20 seconds. It is actually neater than the pee-on-a-stick tests, in which the urine bounces off the stick and sprays everywhere.

Most importantly, they work! They had always given me a clear negative until, at 4 weeks pregnant, they showed a clear positive.

These tests are simple, work well and the best part is that they are ridiculously cheap compared to store bought pregnancy tests. You have to submerge the tests in the urine (ergo you have to pee in a cup) but I think it is worth the $6 difference to keep an old yogurt container around to do your testing.
I need to do pregnancy testing every other week right now as I am still breastfeeding and my menses has not returned yet - so to make sure one way or the other, I have to do the testing fairly frequently. I cannot even imagine having to shell out roughly $7 every other week just find out if I am pregnant!
